We’ve been here over 5 times now, and this place never disappoints! The service is absolutely wonderful, and the prices are so reasonable, you really get your money’s worth in this economy.
I ordered the pork chops and was blown away. The kitchen got them out super fast, and they arrived looking gorgeous. I’m talking about two huge, perfectly cooked pork chops (4-5 oz each) with fresh sides (total $9 lunch special to ~1000 calories, 70-80g protein). The portions are seriously generous, and the food tastes just as good as it looks.
My son and I both agree. This is our go-to spot, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. If you’re looking for great food, amazing service, and prices that won’t break the bank, you have to check this place out. Highly recommend! 🙌“

Chef Mary Bass is a renowned chef for good reason. She makes incredible food. She loves her home in Galveston. She brings so much to this great island. The prices are right the food is delicious. “I usually go for breakfast and it’s speedy service with a quiet atmosphere. The style definitely reminds me of restaurants in El Salvador, very homey. I love the food, they don’t cheap out on the sauce and always give me a good amount. I will say their sauces are super spicy which isn’t a bad thing but not my forte, it is my boyfriend’s thought he loves it.“

Make sure you bring cash and are prepared to eat on the go or in your car there is no seating. But they have a great burger and fries that's under 10 bucks .“
