“Amazing! I’ve been hunting for a Mexican restaurant where I can get one of those huge west coast burritos with all the salsa you can imagine. This is the spot! The person who served me was very kind, was happy to talk about food and made my order quickly but it was high quality and so delicious. We went with bean and cheese burritos and I devoured the entire thing in one sitting. Although it’s a burrito that should last more than 1 meal. The salsa was delicious, with a self-serve salsa bar.
I’ve been craving a spot like this since I left home and I’m so happy I found it!“

What an incredible meal! From start to finish, everything at Lupe Tortilla in Kemah hit the spot.
Appetizers & Drinks, We kicked things off with the queso, creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, along with outstanding chips and salsa. The margarita was perfectly balanced, crisp, refreshing, and tasty.
The Main Event, We ordered a pound of the beef fajitas with all the fixings. The beef was amazingly tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The portions were so generous we even had leftovers to look forward to!
The Tortillas, You can't skip mentioning those iconic, paper-thin, fresh tortillas, absolutely legendary.
If you are looking for an outstanding, festive atmosphere and top-tier Tex-Mex, don't hesitate, run, don't walk, to Lupe Tortilla in Kemah!“

“This spot has become our go to location for Tamales and tortillas. The Tamales are amazing. I am forever getting them for my office and now have everyone going there to get them as well. We have tried tamales everywhere because they are one of my families favorite items and we will not get them from anywhere else now. Give them a try - they are truly the BEST!!!!“

“Omg the fajita meat is amazing! My daughter got the birria tacos; she said they were juicy and the dipping sauce was delicious! Very prompt and courteous service! Prices are average… Birria tacos come with (3) @$15 and all the fixings Fajitas for one are approx $20 Quesadillas are the freaking BOMB @ $15 for a 1/2 Overall!!! A WIN!!!! Defin a place to revisit !!!“

“We order and eat here at least once a week. My sons favorite plate is here. Tonight I got charro beans and not refried and they forgot his cups. Anyone have picky kids by any chance? I called and the girl who answers, I asked to pick up the beans and chips tomorrow. Instead of taking care of these small little details she started telling me what I did wrong, I hung up. Do better business with your loyal customers. If it was me I wouldn’t mind but my kid literally has to have it this way to even enjoy his food.“

“I have to give Diego the manager, and Thomas the waiter a five-star rating for exceptional service. They went above and beyond their call of duty. In addition, the food we ordered was amazing! We had one of the fajita combination platters. The lamb chops were amazing and so were the beef fajitas. I highly recommend this restaurant and Thomas the waiter!“

“I celebrated my birthday with a family member for the first time at Red River Cantina. The food was outstanding! The service was right on. The ambiance was TexMex classic. The ladies bathroom was impeccably clean and well stocked. Our server surprised me with a beautifully and delicious complimentary Sopapillas with cream and a lit birthday candle. Red River Cantina has nothing to envy their competitors. We all know who they are. Red River is our new restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced TexMex dining! Next on our list is their BBQ restaurant! Can't wait!“

“The server too quiet, barely hear her, did not know her name. I ordered tortilla soup, Did not receive a Tortilla soup. Not sure. Exactly what I got. I didn't anyways. “This is a cozy little local spot tucked inside a meat market, and it feels very authentic. There were lots of local families stopping by for breakfast, which is always a good sign. The ordering process is simple—you place your order, then take your ticket to the supermarket counter to pay. Everyone there is super friendly. Just note there’s a $5 minimum for credit cards. There’s no water service, but there are fridges full of drinks you can grab.
The food was great. The pupusa was crispy and really tasty, and the pickled cabbage on top had a strong flavor that balanced everything nicely. The gordita was also well made and full of flavor. Prices are very reasonable, and I was actually surprised that one pupusa was enough to fill me up. I’d definitely come back.“

“One of the better tasting taco trucks in the Pasadena area. Good lighting in the main parking area, but this place is so good you might have to park on the other side of it too.
These guys were busy when I went, but they still got my order 100% accurate and even thanked me for stopping by.
WHAT I LIKED THE MOST... they give you a restaurant buzzer(pager) to let you know your order is ready so you can wait in your vehicle! Kept me from standing outside and dealing with mosquitoes coming at me like I'm a buffet.
The food was so good too! We have finally found a great taco truck closer to Deer Park and La Porte!

“The waiter Huber basically told us what not to order. NOTE When you come to this location bring your own silverware, we had to share a knife among 3 people. The enchiladas & steak, more like a slice of brisket drenched in a salty cheese sauce. Awful!! The beef enchilada, unflavored ground meat, again drenched in a red sauce WITH cheese. Cancun tilapia again with cheese and 8 tiny cocktail shrimp - no garlic sauce The plate was hot but not the food. At 8ish on a saturday night they only had 3 or 4 tables, no more than 12 people, including us 3 If they were starting to close for the day, they should've close the area they were cleaning. I don't appreciate smelling 'Fabuloso" while I'm eating with the mop bucket next to my table. Really your motto should be "Why are you still in business..." Marked as 1st and last on places not to visit. Overpriced for the food quality“

“Handmade gorditas and pupusas. Real good breakfast tacos and burritos. It is located inside the quik mart gas station. Small but Friendly staff. This location should be moving down the street to a brand new building being built now. Should be done in march 2020. Looking forward to it. Definitely recommend. I'll be back.“
