Discover where to enjoy delicious Mexican dishes in Santa Fe.
“Decided to try a new place with a co-worker. Pictures of food looked excellent. We tried the Beef street Tacos. They were delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. They even brought our food out to us since it is a small food trailer. It was obvious they take great pride in serving excellent food and providing top notch service. Next time I am in the area I will be coming here again.“
“specializes in lamb, goat and beef birria, a flavorful meat stew. Our order got a bit messed up, but the food was excellent, very typical Mexican. Very nice folks and one of the only places in Santa Fe to serve goat. Probably other food choices, but we went for the birria. Very informal place.“
“Family owned since 1991 here in Santa Fe fantastic food. Very authentic Spanish rice. The quesadillas were so tasty and the cheese was thick and stringy. Great, tacos also we would highly recommend it and we will be going back. Also they had a very clean restroom area decent parking, but I will say there are a lot of holes and uneven concrete out front so be careful. See you all next time when me and my guys go for a new place to try…..Lain“
“Small little Mexican restaurant with good food and good prices, portions aren’t big but not small either, they’re just right for a quick meal. They also have a drive through for those want to grab something to go, but I will say they are more exact with their food if you order in. Some have mentioned language barriers, Menus have all the info you need to know, and if it’s that bad, you really need to work on patience instead.Anyways, my favorite thing here is the consistent Mickey (I think) pancakes! They always give these if you order pancakes, and I think it’s a cute touch lol“
“Our family goes there to eat all the time, the food is delicious!! Highly recommended ? don't wait to try the food, everything is delicious, thank you very much! They are always very kind to people too, see you laterParking: Because of the gas station and the delicious food there is not very many places to park buf believe me the wait is worth it!“
“The food was phenomenal; I ordered the Chilaquiles plate, which included two eggs. The combination of Chilaquiles, queso fresco, refried beans, and fried potatoes on the plate was delicious, providing the spicy flavor I was looking for. The chips and salsa were good, and I noticed the salsa from the chips was similar to the one used for the Chilaquiles. I do wish they offered a slightly milder salsa, as my wife isn't a fan of spiciness. Overall, the experience was great, and the lemonade was also excellent.“
“Nice Wait-Staff and food is pretty good.My only complaint is the the Salsa comes in the tiniest of bowls and is honestly just above diluted ketchup. When a staple for Mexican food becomes this poor you got to think that the owners might be going out of business or broke. Bring back real salsa and a decent size Bowl.!Wheelchair accessibility: Hey do have a Wheelchair Ramp.“
“Killer tacos. Fresh and expertly prepared meat in fairly generous portions. If you are tired of being bent over on quality and price, then check them out. Hurry before inflation forces them to start cutting corners like everywhere else these days.“
“Blessed to have found this spot, one of the best taco trucks in the area. Service is on point and quick. The flavors were BEYOND delicious. Got the flautas and fajita tacos and every bite was so worth it. Lastly, sauce is WELL MADE here, green or red. I was not asked to do a review but I had to share my wonderful experience, definitely recommend and will be coming back!!“
“It was a nice quiet place to relax between Drs appointments. Nice wait staff. Chips and salsa/green sauce was good. Lots of windows and a nice array of seating. I watched Fox News ? and learned about OJ as I sat down. So that was a memorable experience. they made me feel important and attentive to what made me happy. Sweet waitress. I will go back with my kids.also. or next time I have an appointment I'll go chill by myself. I did not go to the Bar but noticed it was clean, the fruit garnish tray was fresh and bright, she was telling me about margarita specials but I wasn't drinking so they have happy hour I presume. Seems a bit pricey in some areas but if you share bear it works!! Give it a try ?Kid-friendliness: Open floor design, lots of seating, bright and happy with windows and lighting.“
“All I can say about this place is, THE BEST BREAKFAST BURRITOS IN TEXAS. It's like that, y'all. Order the King Burrito with sausage AND bacon. You're welcome!I would drive by and always see these cars lined up into the road, waiting to place an order. So I gave them a shot. I've never tasted tortillas like what they make. All their ingredients are unique and the flavor is incredible. You don't feel horrible after you eat their food. You're full, but not sleepy. Also, their salsa is incredible. Order a side of sour cream to go with the King Burrito. You won't be disappointed, waiting if you have to wait in the line.“
“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around. It's a low profile place. No cartoon mascots, just traditional dishes with good flavor. I love the fish dishes. Can't go wrong with tilapia, tacos or "seafood al vapor." Salsa is good too. They come with chips, of course. Borracho beans are nice and flavorful without being too salty. Beer is by the bottle with a decent Mexican and domestic selection. Margaritas are available too, with happy hour from noon to 6 pm. Give them a try if you're looking for something other than TexMex.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in front, manual door“
“Husband and I ate here. We got a couple of combo meals. I don't remember the names of them, but they were only 12 bucks a piece. Their white queso is delicious. The other food we got was good as well. Neither one of us cared for their rice or refried beans. I know it happens sometimes, but I found a bone in my shredded chicken. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. I'd definitely go back.“
“Came all the way from Galveston...not disappointed?Chips & Salsa were really good (I'm really picky) so they past the test.Ordered Sizzling Fajitas with chicken and sausage and onions. Omg "Delish". Ok about the bakery...so many it was hard to choose...wanted them all?? ? also "Delish We will be back...Staff was really great and your coffee was fantastic???also. Thank you?“
“Friendly service and excellent food. Lunch menu prices are reasonable and the xtapia (sp?) Was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best refried beans I have ever tasted!!! The guacamole was delicious also and the chips were very fresh. Overall great experience.“
“The Bartenders on 4-4-24 evening. Care about there customers. The most important thing of being a bartender is to talk to your customers. To make them feel like they're welcome. Well the bartenders that night not only talked with all there customers they made me feel very important. That's how to bartend. Not a easy job.but these kids know what they are doing. As a ex general manager of a restaurant for 40 years. Very impressed.“
“The food came out with hair in my plate but they remade it without hesitation the margaritas wasn’t that great at all i had the flight but the food tasted great great atmosphere the customer service was none existent but the atmosphere made up for it very pretty i see this set up out of town but never in Texas very spaciousParking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes very spacious“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Our visit to Jimmy Changas was nothing short of fantastic! Dining outdoors on a beautiful day with our family of six and our new puppy was an absolute delight. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff catering to our every need with a smile. As for the food, it surpassed our expectations with delicious Texmex flavors that left us craving more. We're already planning our next visit to Jimmy Changas - it's a must-try for Texmex enthusiasts!“
“Don’t let the outside look of this restaurant fool you, the food taste like I would make it at home, delicious flavors, the only thing I would knock them on would be the flour tortilla, I know they hand make tortillas but this morning that was not the case, I could taste and smell the difference, my breakfast tacos were put on store bought tortillas….no bueno. Lucy don’t ruin your great tasting food by putting tacos on store bought tortillas.“
“Had a dinner here in October on a Texas trip. Water is around 97 cents if you want it for a meal. Had 3 enchiladas verdes which includes rice + beans. Good portion size and was not super hot. Place was pretty crowded on Sunday night with what appeared to be local. Overall, good mom and pop restaurant.“
“Really sweet people, and have great customer service! I love their breakfast tacos, great price and taste! I also enjoy the fact that they’re at a great location right of off hwy 3 & Hughes. They also did some catering for me before and the service was awesome along with reasonable prices ??“
“Even after it got a little crowded and some old guy had my Friend I was eating with MOVE CHAIRS so he could comfortably sit with his group......(cause he insisted on reclining in his chair with his leg across his lap pushed back a full foot and a half from his table)........it was still a good restaurant. Good food, despite a small menu. Great tasting. Service was good too.Though a but pricey.8 Oz of Chile con Queso is $6.75 a bowl.Your drinks will be roughly $3 a glass. But entree prices were 11-15 per plate. All in all. Not bad.“
“We come here weekly and the service is always wonderful. The food is plentiful and delicious and the prices are reasonable.Their Mexican omelet with cheese is our favorite and we end up splitting it because they give you such generous portions.“
“Had the lunch buffet today and it was excellent! Enchiladas, Carne guisada, mini taco salads, stuffed peppers, soup, rice, beans, and chips/salsa at your table. Everything was fresh and delicious. Truly great service as well. I will be back!“
“We reserved the back corner at Las Flores for my 75th birthday party. Around 20 of my children and grandchildren attended. Everyone was well attended to and all were happy with the menu and their food. We shared some birthday cake with the staff. I like giving my business to locally owned places instead of the big corporations because I feel that they care more.Kid-friendliness: We were in the far back corner close to the restrooms and out of view of most of the main dining room so the kids would not be annoying to other guests.“
“I've been Craving pupusas for a very long time & my Husband called me today as he was coming home from work on Hwy 6 & said he had a Surprise Happy Meal coming my way, haha & then he walks in with 4 Pupusas for our dinner. Gotta say I was hooked from the first bite, lots of cheesy shredded chicken, Best Seasoned Flavored shredded chicken Pupusa w/the "must have pickled cabbage to go with it i've ever had by far, when my Hubby told me that it was his Abuelita that was doing the Homemade Cooking & I knew right away, that must be the reason, Abuelitas always have the BEST HOMEMADE COOKING!! ? THIIS WILL DEFINITELY BE OUR "GO TO" PUPUSA PLACE FOR NOW ON!! ABUELITA DEFINITELY ROCKS HER FOOD TRUCK & HER PRICES ARE REASONABLE & MORE THAN WORTH IT!! BIEN PROVECHO y MUCHAS GRACIAS!!! P.S. the only thing that i wish they had was an online Menu showing their variety of food items“
“They have an extensive menu at this place. This is a great place for burritos, breakfast definitely, lunch, yes, I've also gone in for dinner. The quesabirrias were great. The broth was excellent. We also had the #6 burrito and enchiladas plate. The service was great, you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. They also give you chips and salsa. I also saw they have a drive thru, which is busy. This place also seems to have a lot of to go orders. It's not the cheapest place but our other choice was the taco truck and we wouldn't have gotten the same service or a restroom, not to mention it was 33 degrees outside and we were able to eat our food in their dining room. Needless to say, it was worth every penny, and I'm lucky to have this place so close to us. If you live anywhere near here or passing through, it's worth your time and money to stop in.“
“This used to be Guadalajara restaurant by the old laundry Matt. My favorite waitress in the world works there very long brown hair and it's usually braided. Food is amazing service is amazing... I love it when she brings me My sweet tea in a Togo cup before even asking me. Your the best mamm. Hope you never leave this Lucas's tortillas..Thank you for always having a smile on your face and greeting and serving me forever now. Love my breakfast burrito ? ?“
“Hello there, Food enthusiast omar here. I must say the food here is amazing. This is what I would call authentic Mexican birria. The food is delicious the people are friendly. The birria ramen is a bit small but it does not lack in flavor. The birria fries are amazing and delicious I recommend them with cilantro and onions, the flavor is phenomenal. It’s savory and amazing and also very well cooked my compliments to the chef!! Now I must get to the star of the show!! The quesabirria. I lack words to describe the delicious flavor of this dish you must go there and try it!! You will not regret it. The consume! Which is the broth of the cooked beef is amazing I wish I could put it in water and drink it. And the lemonade!! Make sure you get it to wash the delicious food down cause it is also delicious!! The whole family loves it. They speak Spanish and English. This place is 10/10. Thanks for reading!! Yours truly, food enthusiast omar“
“If you eat morons, you're a Moron Eater.Very delicious tacos on the Southeast side of Houston, and open very late as well. The woman serving here was extremely friendly, and we appreciate such a magnificent late night meal. It's not in my top 10 taco trucks in Houston, but there are some amazing ones here, and so the standards are high. When it comes to late night food it is more than worth the drive here, and they are very very good.“
“This place is awesome. The employees and vendors have always been friendly. Also, they pretty much keep my husband's favorite energy drink, Monster Nitro Super Dry in stock, which is really hard to find, and even when we have stumbled across it at other stores, we end up buying them all out and asking these stores to PLEASE reorder (and I'm talking about asking several times over,) but Quick Run is the ONLY place that actually follows through with their word. I bought the last 2 cans that a vendor went to get out from the cooler for me, and he said he would be sure to order some more! That was cool. We buy from here all the time. I'm ready to try the food! I see people buying breakfast all the time, and with the way it smells, I can understand why! Yep, I need to grub on some of that! Oh, yeah...the candy selection is pretty good, too. Hey, Quick Run...if you see this, please order some Baby Pottle Pops! Ok, thanks for reading. ✌“
“Came here with out of town family and we loved our food!! Small exception of cheese enchiladas...coming from California, they use real shredded cheese and this is the 2nd Mexican restaurant we visited that uses what seems to be Velveeta and its pretty gross tasting + texture is chalky/chunky. May be others styles but not ours. Otherwise, service was great, guac, shrimp quesadilla, enchiladas suizas, horchata, all fantastic and I highly recommend!“
“I am hooked on the piratas with chicken. They are filled generously with white meat chicken which has a bit of a grilled flavor. The flour tortilla is also filled with melted cheese and slices of fresh avocado. It comes with 2 sauces, a salsa verde and a habanero salsa. I like hot, but not emergency room visit hot. Even the habanero salsa was easily tolerable for me. Both salsas have really food flavor.“
“We were there for a meeting, so it was abnormally crowded. Food was good, drinks good. I had the chicken Cobb salad, better than most. My wife had the chicken mole enchiladas. She had a Margarita to go with it. She enjoyed hers also. Plenty of parking, reasonable access. On the list to go again.“
“Loved this tex mex place. They have a wide variety on the menu, leaving me wanting to come back to try something new. I had the tacos & they were delicious. Also they have tasty chips & salsa and my friends swear by their margaritas. Everyone's meals looked absolutely delicious & a great place to come with family. Also nothing like their white queso.“
“A friend introduced and brought the Beef burrito for breakfast. This was by far one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever eaten! The tortilla was delicious, and the steak meat was seasoned and chopped perfectly for a breakfast burrito. It is a large size and I ate every “
