“This place was not a cookie-cutter chain restaurant. It was a unique dining experience that made you feel like you were truly in the farmland. The food was great. The people were friendly. I may have had lots of cool stuff to look at on the walls.“
“This is a well managed taco bell. I sometimes stop here when I'm in this side of town and the food is always hot, ready fast, and the interior is always spotless. The electronic ordering kiosk is easy to use too, makes it easy to customize your stuff.“
“We went here our first night in Cabo on a recommendation for local food and they did not disappoint. It's worth going for the salsa and chips alone. They give you 5-6 different salsa and they were all great. We kept them for the entirety of the meal. Our dinners were based upon the waiters advice. Both meals were very good. If you're looking for authentic Mexican experience, check this place out.“
“It has been a nice experience every time I have come to eat at this restaurant, Juana Ramírez has been our waitress who, with her beautiful attention, has made us enjoy and discover delicious flavors of Peru such as chicha morado with a shot of pisco, Juana She is a waitress that you hardly find in other places, if it weren't for Juana I couldn't enjoy it as I have, excellent person!!!❤️❤️“
“Great service and food! We ordered last minute catering for my husband's birthday party and they accommodated our order on short notice and provided excellent service. Tons of guests asked where we got the food and we proudly pointed them in Daiquiri Xpress' direction. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.“
“The service was great! The two ladies that attended us were kind and attentive. The Trompo taco kids' plate was delicious, and so were the Mexican enchiladas; very flavor! We also ordered the asado de puerco, and that was scrumptious! The only thing that we did not like at all was the order of Guacamole. It was so heavily loaded with white onion that the avocado flavor wasn't even there. I guess it is pre-made, and the onions take over the whole thing. It was also so very cold, so obviously, it wasn't made when ordered. Other than that, all was great!“
“Service was fantastic. Can’t remember our servers name, but he did wonderful! Very attentive and made our visit comfortable. Enjoyed all of the salsas that came out with the chips. Queso with steak was perfect. The cups were cute and enormous, which is great for my husband because he is always having to ask for refills. We ordered quesadillas and they were delicious. Amazing little hidden gem. Will be back for sure. Definitely recommend!!“
“Not sure why I haven't come to know this place sooner, I guess it's because of the little strip it's in, but this place deserves 10 stars for their food and portions. Prices are incredible, and customer service was ok. The staff is mostly younger and therefore has to still learn about customer service, but overall it was a good experience. Great job guys!!“
“Blessed to have found this spot, one of the best taco trucks in the area. Service is on point and quick. The flavors were BEYOND delicious. Got the flautas and fajita tacos and every bite was so worth it. Lastly, sauce is WELL MADE here, green or red. I was not asked to do a review but I had to share my wonderful experience, definitely recommend and will be coming back!!“
“I stopped here on a rainy day, in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Tacos Anita La Veracruzana did not disappoint. This is a food truck on FM 521 in the Arcola/Fresno area. It shares the parking area with another business, so parking space is limited. I parked and walked up to the window. The menu is a little confusing but it's basically the photos posted on the outside of the food truck.I decided to order a torta and a gordita, both with fajita meat. I also ordered an horchata to wash it down with. The torta and gordita were both delicious. The meat was tender and flavorfull and blended well with the lettuce and tomato inside of it. The sauce gave it a creamy, savory, comforting taste to add depth to the bun on the torta and the corn shell of the gordita. The cheese was just the right amount, complimenting the meat but not overwhelming it. The lettuce and tomato kept everything tasting fresh. Last but not least, what is Mexican food without salsa. The red and green were both on point! While I'm not a big sweet drink person, the horchata was very good. This was a solid meal from a local food truck and did not disappoint. The parking is very limited but you can call ahead and order. It's located off of a busy road and traffic is a bit annoying around there but other than that, the service is excellent. The food truck operator is very nice and the food was worth the rain I stood in to order the food. There's not much to say about the ambiance, since it's a food truck in a very small lot on a loud road.I'll return to order the pambazos and sopes next. I'll also try the mango or piña agua fresca next time.If you are in the area, stop by and try this authentic Veracruz, Mexican cuisine!“
“We found this randomly on google. We pulled up and ordered 3 breakfast tacos and 4 steak fajita tacos…..DELICIOUS!!!! The meat was juicy, the tortillas were cooked with a little crisp to them…..these are so good! The price for 7 tacos was less than $20 , I definitely recommend this food truck !!!“
“First time to eat here and although I had the lunch enchiladas, everyone brags about the breakfast tacos. Will have to come back for breakfast. The lunch enchiladas were super delicious! Great experience for my first time. (The dining area was smaller than I expected.) FYI: the restaurant closes at 3 pm in case you want to eat dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant for your next breakfast or lunch meal!“
“Friendly service and excellent food. Lunch menu prices are reasonable and the xtapia (sp?) Was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best refried beans I have ever tasted!!! The guacamole was delicious also and the chips were very fresh. Overall great experience.“
“I go here pretty often when i need my taco fix. I would say on average itll take 8-10m for her to get your order ready. I had to leave a review because her beans actually have vienna sausages or hotdogs in them. The beans actually have spices and flavor to it compared to other trucks. I like it. Its good. I also tried the watermelon agua fresca. It was massive and very refreshing for the summer heat. Will definitely try the other drinks later. All the typical stuff you will find at a taco food truck is here. Homegirl is solid.“
“Tried it for lunch, on Friday. Good food, good service. Nice drink selection. Clean and fresh. Decent prices compared to fast food drive throughs... I will be back, to sample more of the menu. Pearland's best kept secret?Parking: In a strip center, with available free parking, during weekdays lunch time“
“I went a few days ago with my family and the service was AMAZING! I usually don’t write reviews but our server, Annie, was amazing. She was extremely kind and attentive. The food was also amazing, I had the Pastor bowl, and we also had the egg rolls for the table. Definitely recommend this place!!!“
“It's always fun at Gringo's with delicious options and a fun atmosphere. We go often with family.Parking: There are not many handicapped spaces, so don't go on Sundays.Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome and they have a great timeWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for people with disabilities“
“I should’ve taken a picture before I ate my plate. I got the Latino sampler which had a little bit of everything It DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The lady at the front was so nice and took into consideration my food preferences of what I can and can’t eat. You can tell it’s all homemade and made to order. Not like fast food so it does take some time to cook the food but that is completely understandable. It tasted freshly made perfectly seasoned to my taste buds. The green sauce on the side was delicious. The only thing I’m upset about was not getting more of that green sauce or a side of the sweet fried plantainsI will definitely be back to try more food and their dessert!“
“The tacos are amazing...the beef tacos are great but the chicken tacos are ???. Also get the consome. Thank God this place is close to home....I usually drive out to the Hillcroft or Gessner area to get a good street taco but this place is right down the road and does not miss. 10 out-of 10“
“Never tried too many gas station meals but we were starving and driving through the neighborhood. We saw they sold tacos and just had to stop. The tacos are so amazing that we had to double back and get 3 more each! The flavor of the beef is amazing! So happy that we found this hidden gem and right in the gas station! I’m coming back for sure!“
“The best tacos I have had. My favorite was the homemade flour tortillas with potatoe and chorizo. And the hot sauce for the tacos are real good. This is my new favorite place. They have a great variety of meats and they also have breakfast tacos in the mornings.“
“I wasn't sure there were any good taco truck places, this far out of Houston area. But I'm definitely glad I gave this place a try. The food was incredibly delicious and not at all greasy like other places that taste good, but leave you feeling yucky. During lunch time they do get quite busy, but they seem to have it together with their pagers to let you know when your order is ready. I tried their huaraches, tacos and gorditas so far, and their generous portions of toppings on food (queso fresco and crema). Their side of Charro beans was very tasty, too. We're looking forward to trying out other items from menu.“
“Even after it got a little crowded and some old guy had my Friend I was eating with MOVE CHAIRS so he could comfortably sit with his group......(cause he insisted on reclining in his chair with his leg across his lap pushed back a full foot and a half from his table)........it was still a good restaurant. Good food, despite a small menu. Great tasting. Service was good too.Though a but pricey.8 Oz of Chile con Queso is $6.75 a bowl.Your drinks will be roughly $3 a glass. But entree prices were 11-15 per plate. All in all. Not bad.“
“We come here weekly and the service is always wonderful. The food is plentiful and delicious and the prices are reasonable.Their Mexican omelet with cheese is our favorite and we end up splitting it because they give you such generous portions.“
“We reserved the back corner at Las Flores for my 75th birthday party. Around 20 of my children and grandchildren attended. Everyone was well attended to and all were happy with the menu and their food. We shared some birthday cake with the staff. I like giving my business to locally owned places instead of the big corporations because I feel that they care more.Kid-friendliness: We were in the far back corner close to the restrooms and out of view of most of the main dining room so the kids would not be annoying to other guests.“
“I've been Craving pupusas for a very long time & my Husband called me today as he was coming home from work on Hwy 6 & said he had a Surprise Happy Meal coming my way, haha & then he walks in with 4 Pupusas for our dinner. Gotta say I was hooked from the first bite, lots of cheesy shredded chicken, Best Seasoned Flavored shredded chicken Pupusa w/the "must have pickled cabbage to go with it i've ever had by far, when my Hubby told me that it was his Abuelita that was doing the Homemade Cooking & I knew right away, that must be the reason, Abuelitas always have the BEST HOMEMADE COOKING!! ? THIIS WILL DEFINITELY BE OUR "GO TO" PUPUSA PLACE FOR NOW ON!! ABUELITA DEFINITELY ROCKS HER FOOD TRUCK & HER PRICES ARE REASONABLE & MORE THAN WORTH IT!! BIEN PROVECHO y MUCHAS GRACIAS!!! P.S. the only thing that i wish they had was an online Menu showing their variety of food items“
“Good experience. This establishment is a very relaxed chilled location. There was music playing over the speakers, from different eras and also sports on the wall-mounted tvs on either side of the restaurant. The Wait staff moved fast to take orders and bring your food to the table. Food was fresh and very tasty. Looking forward to the next visit. Highly recommended.“
“Hello there, Food enthusiast omar here. I must say the food here is amazing. This is what I would call authentic Mexican birria. The food is delicious the people are friendly. The birria ramen is a bit small but it does not lack in flavor. The birria fries are amazing and delicious I recommend them with cilantro and onions, the flavor is phenomenal. It’s savory and amazing and also very well cooked my compliments to the chef!! Now I must get to the star of the show!! The quesabirria. I lack words to describe the delicious flavor of this dish you must go there and try it!! You will not regret it. The consume! Which is the broth of the cooked beef is amazing I wish I could put it in water and drink it. And the lemonade!! Make sure you get it to wash the delicious food down cause it is also delicious!! The whole family loves it. They speak Spanish and English. This place is 10/10. Thanks for reading!! Yours truly, food enthusiast omar“
“I am hooked on the piratas with chicken. They are filled generously with white meat chicken which has a bit of a grilled flavor. The flour tortilla is also filled with melted cheese and slices of fresh avocado. It comes with 2 sauces, a salsa verde and a habanero salsa. I like hot, but not emergency room visit hot. Even the habanero salsa was easily tolerable for me. Both salsas have really food flavor.“
“Everything was very delicious, the refried beans and the rice were very delicious, but the only thing that needs to be improved are the sauces, one looked like a dressing and another had no flavor, they need a few spices so that the toso is very goodbut excellent service and atmosphere.“
“Edited: My wife and I love to come to this Casa Ole which has a great Tex-Mex environment, wonderful servers, and a nice family setting. The food is served fresh and hot, and the Fajitas are a great choice. We have been coming to Casa Ole locations across SE Texas for many years. This Casa Ole is near our Granddaughter, Son and Daughter in Law's house, and is very easy to spot when you are driving either direction on FM 518 / Broadway just west of Pearland Parkway. It is near Discount Tire and the big HEB at the corner. Highly Recommended.Parking: Plenty of Parking Spots in front and along the side and plenty of ADA spots if needed.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is WC accessible and enough room to move around inside.“
“I saw this place a few times while working in this area it’s a small trailer with some pretty darn good tacos for very fair prices they are not greedy with the meat at all and the tacos are much bigger than I thought. The Sala was okay the green is spicier than the red with okay flavor they also put some onions which I really like with the food. They get a plus because you can order fries here also. The quesadilla is not to large but has very good flavor not bad at all so far the best since I moved here from Cali where it’s hard to find a decent taco.“
“We have been going here for years and years. The food and staff are great.Parking: Parking can be limited depending on the number of people at the bar next door. The business to the south of the restaurant has put a chain up to prevent parking in front of their business even when they are closed and it will not impact them.“
“Salsas are top notch. Green, creamy salsa is the best Ive had recently. Hot chips....Service is great ....ask for Victor he will take care of you professionally and in a personable manner.Food very good, I had the Carne Quisada lunch special....with rice and charro beans. Wife had 3 enchilladas...which she said were great and she took 1 home.Looks like a small place from outside, but its actually much bigger. We were there for a late lunch, so the place was pretty empty...I can bet it has a much better vibe when it is busy.“
“The service was humble, the meal was excellent, and the price was right. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted and escorted to our seats. It was a wonderful eating experience because to the excellent food options, quick service, tasty margaritas, and attentive staff.“
“Best tacos ever!!! I am allergic to gluten and nowhere had corn tortillas for breakfast tacos. After calling 4 places Gracia answered and would use corn! Now my husband and I go every Saturday morning to get out tacos. You can also call ahead of your in a hurry.“
“I have been in the area on and off for 24 years. We have been living here now for 2 years. I always wanted to eat their, but never stopped until last week. WOW! Awesome food, nice and quiet to talk friendly atmosphere. Don't wait like I did stop in, you won't regret it. I'll definitely be back!“
