“Second visit to Galveston, second time it got rained out, second time I ended up at an Irish Pub. Funny thing though, it happened to be the same Irish Pub and my birthday. The staff and other patrons were awesome, we had a great night - lubrication proudly presented by Mr Jameson and Mr Guinness.
Jukebox, food, pool and other games all available, will definitely head back should I be back in Galveston“

“Daiquiri Time Out is a cool place even if you don’t drink. It’s just a vibe there. Very chill, great seats, open environment. The back courtyard is real nice. But the best part of DTO is the customer service by the staff here. TJ, Campbell, Britney, Angel, and manager Dave are all friendly and cool, in fact, everyone there is cool. Plus they have this Tiki Bar hideout thing. Check it out!“

“I live nearby and saw the special for the $5 cheeseburger on Thursdays. Finally gave it a shot and I have to say that it was quite delicious. The bread was yummy and the meat was very juicy. Some might think it was too greasy, but no one wanted a dry hamburger anyway. It had excellent flavor and was cooked to order. I’m not sure that it’s worth the $15 as regularly priced, but either way, I was very happy with it and will order again in the future!“

“I went by, intrigued as they are literally steps from the site of the original Old Galveston Club and Interurban Queen where dear Mr Santos presided so many years. A bit suspicious , how can they be calling themselves OGC… And felt like I had just come home. Fabulous place, with an old familiar feel. We talked to Lucy the owner who was incredibly welcoming, very much cognizant of the weight of the name and incredibly respectful. Lou the bartender after hearing my story of a drink Mr. Santos first recommended and made for me, produced the closest version of it I have had since years ago at the original ( Planter’s Punch). Mr Santos himself would have smiled proudly. Kudos and thank you for keeping the memories alive. We will definitely be back. There are not enough stars in the galaxy to add to the rating :)“

“Their sandwiches with the French dip are absolutely phenomenal. Don’t think it’s officially on the menu but it should. Theresa (our bartender) makes the best sandwiches in Galveston. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Corner Pocket. Great food and service.“

The ambiance is beautiful they have comfortable couches and pool tables too!!! This is where I bring my friends if I want to go to a bar and socialize. I also feel very safe here. This bar is huge and pet friendly. I love coming with my friends and my chihuahua in my bag, get drinks, seat on the couches and socialize. The music is good but it doesn't drown conversations like many other bars. If you want to play the pool and games are free!!!!“

It's a bar, but food is soo good! ?
Big plus is that it is non smoking bar, but if you want to, you can go on the patio.
Regulars are super friendly, so even of you want to watch a game, but have no one to accompany you, there is always someone there. And Cindy is a star behind the bar. She will take care and you will feel welcomed!“

“They took us in for my sister's anniversary, even though we were later than we expected, but the only complaint was the speaker with stupid music (?) right in our ears. It's a sunset atmosphere, not a disco. The music (?) should be smooth, not ridiculously loud and annoying. The speaker should be up and away, not a ear level. When asked to lower the volume, they refused. Very unappealing. Waitress was great and friendly and the desserts, while expensive, were excellent! Also, the bar stools would be better if they had "backs", not just stools.“

“Live music was the nights deal, first time there and everyone was so lively and happy to see ya bartenders were amazing I felt so damn awesome by all the ppl being nice it's been a minute since I've walked in a bar and was able enjoy a cold drink. Y'all all need to visit this here place. I'm going to try and stay a whole week down there next time it just puts you in a better mood. I'm happy I was able to find this little star

“Need a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? This place made this country boy at home. Make you feel at home. Small Town atmosphere. Ms. Renee (sorry if I misspelled your name); was highly attentive and friendly. music is varied. Jukebox is awesome. Not to mention the price of drinks is fair and the regulars make you feel at home. And this is after my first trip! Will definitely return next week.“

“Estuvimos en Vida agave ayer por la noche y nos encantó la comida y el concepto del restaurante, el Mesero David de origen Colombiano nos atendió con mucha amabilidad y fue muy bueno al explicarnos el menú excelente actitud,agradable todo lo manejo con los pasos y tiempos que debe de dar un mesero brindándonos un excelente servicio, queríamos algo diferente salir de nuestro pueblo Porter,TX y llegar a Galveston a cenar y beber Rico, fue una rica experiencia, dando nos una noche inolvidable para mí y mis hijos. “Ok for a place to hang out in an open-air place to hang out and enjoy adult beverages. Seemed more like a treehouse than a bar. But, it drew a decent crowd of bikers during the rally for being several miles away from the main action.We wanted to ride a little away from the masses, so it filled the bill. Kudos to their parking attendants, they really controlled the lot.There was no food served by Woodys, but there was a food truck there. I think they should've offered a few portapotties the mens room was often overwhelmed. I heard many of the ladies comment upon seeing the long line of men waiting for the restroom. Most said the world is upside down here.“
