“Island Time became our watering hole on our recent vacation and we were so happy with our experience. The staff was amazing, especially Julie and Josh, the drinks were fantastic, the food was your typical bar food but it was good, and the drag show was entertaining. The only negative that our group had to say was that the drag performers were a little too push for tips; literally putting their hand in front of you for a tip. This happened a few times to us, and others, and when we tipped them one of them rolled their eyes and said “that’s it”. Other than that, we had a great time and would totally go back to this fun and welcoming place.“

Zoey,Nick, Brook, Carlos and the rest of the Beerfoot team go above and beyond to make it a great experience o matter what team you are cheering for!!“

“Their sandwiches with the French dip are absolutely phenomenal. Don’t think it’s officially on the menu but it should. Theresa (our bartender) makes the best sandwiches in Galveston. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Corner Pocket. Great food and service.“

“Can’t say enough good things. We left a stuffed animal in the sheets and they returned it to us! Microwaves cost $10 but it was worth it anyway.“

“We were visiting Galveston because of the Lonestar rally. This bar was recommended for us to have a few drinks and chill. The bar was clean and the locals were really nice. On saturday night they had an outdoor band, which he sounded really great and better than some of the bands at the rally. Thank you to the bartenders working saturday night and making my chocolate martinis.“

“Bartender Sarah was so great! My fiance and I were nervous about coming into a smaller bar as a lesbian couple & were worried we would be treated dismissively, but it was in fact the opposite! Sarah showed us around the back deck (which was so spacious btw) and made top notch drinks. We really enjoyed coming here and may make it our new close to home bar!
