“We were a party of 7. Saw the reviews and decided to give them a shot. Called and asked if there was a wait and was told no, so we headed that way. Got a call 5 minutes later stating that they had a table already set for us. Wow!Our waiter (forgot his name ?‍♂️) was polite and thorough. Food was priced very fairly and everyone enjoyed what they ordered (gumbo, bacon wrapped shrimp, bourbon street, shrimp platter, etc.) While waiting for our food, noticed that the GM seems to have a problem with our waiter. Actually told him to “leave and come back with a better attitude”. News to us, as he seemed very pleasant….?‍♂️ This exchange took place next to the order pick up window which was right in the seating area. The manager approached them and they all went to the back. The situation was handled very well from that point forth. Everyone returned to their job shortly thereafter. (Even the GM who continued with doing absolutely nothing productive).In conclusion, food was great, service was great and glad they had at least one competent person in house to handle the GM’s compete lack of care.You have a staff that seems to work well together (outside of the GM) and solid food. Don’t jeopardize it.I’ll be glad to discuss our overall experience more in depth with an owner.”

“We fully enjoyed our meal! This is authentic southern Italian all the way. The pasta is made fresh on site and we could taste the fresh ingredients in all the dishes we ordered. The portions are perfect size and even though we left full, we didn’t feel bloated and gross. That’s the sign of quality ingredients! The owner, Pina is wonderful! We chatted for a bit after our meal. This will be a definite stop for us next time we’re back in Galveston!”

“Absolutely amazing coffees that don’t just taste like milk and syrup but have a delicious fresh espresso shot in them. A cute little place to sit and have some breakfast. The food came out quickly and the staff were very friendly. We dined in and had:Large Andes coffee, hot - so delicious, you can taste the espresso and the recipe got the Andes taste spot on. I drank every drop!Lorraine quiche, got it warmed - delicious, creamy and flavorful egg, ham, and cheese filling; the crust was perfect, light, not too greasy and was flaky.Almond croissant, got it warmed - phenomenal, flaky buttery croissant, with a delicate almond flavored filling.Sourdough breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese - this one could of used something on the bread, it was good but a little dry/bland, the egg was hard fried, couldn’t order any other options as we would’ve preferred it over medium.Two of our kids met us there and orderedbacon and cheese croissant - bacon was good, the cheese was melted, croissant flaky and butteryBacon, egg, cheese croissant - son said it was so goodLarge Honey bun iced coffee - daughter raved over it, said it was delicious and actually drank it allIced black tea unsweet - son said it was goodRaspberry pastry - my daughter said it was incredible and wants another. She said we need them to open a shop close to us!Coffee was so good I returned later in the day and got an iced almond joy coffee. It was delicious!They have some cute merch and local advertising. “Always a favorite, but greatly disappointed today with the hostess today. We arrived 4 persons requesting a table of 6 for a birthday celebration. She refused to seat us till all guest arrived. As we complained she finally told us to go wait at a large table with barstools.A server approached us and told us that we needed to order if we sat in his section. All of our group work in the service industry and leave a hefty gratuity. The restaurant was half empty and could have easily accommodate a party of six with 2 people arriving 10 minutes later.”

“Went here for my birthday. Had a reservation, so there was no wait to be seated, which was great for a Saturday night. Our server was great, very attentive and friendly. Loved the crab cake! ? Stuffed shrimp with asparagus was really good. Chocolate brownie cake for birthday dessert was excellent. Would recommend!Parking: There is a free parking lot just to the west of the restaurant. Didn't see it at first, as the front of the restaurant has about 10 parking spaces right on the street. Turned by the restaurant and saw the parking lot on the left.”

They serve phenomenal, expensive wines, the best beef in the state of Texas: this is not some pizza joint where you bring your three and five year old kids: there are better and less expensive options for families with young children. This restaurant has an exclusive and romantic upscale atmosphere. This is not a Chuck E Cheese.If your idea of a 'good steak' is a top sirloin from Golden Corral that is well done, you are going to be sorely disappointed coming here.Parking: Valet parking is validated if you eat in the steakhouse.”

“Our favorite restaurant when we're visiting Galveston! This visit was no exception. Superb service and food!I am not a bread person but I absolutely cannot resist the bread they serve!! Wow!We started with the crab cakes appetizer. It was excellent.For our entrees, hubby ordered the seafood pasta that came with alaskan king crab and topped with lobster tail. I ordered the ribeye with Piitsburg sear and blue cheese crumbles on top. The steak was cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of sear and so juicy and flavorful!! The seafood pasta was also excellent. For sides, we chose sautéed spinach and sautéed mushrooms. Both were delicious. For dessert we shared the warm butter cake. I told him we used to live round these parts. He brought the kids a cinnamon roll to share on the house. It was a pleasant surprise. My Beef Brisket sandwich was perfect, without any additional sauces or flavours added. The Potato Salad was the perfect accompaniment to go with the slaw and brisket! My wife had 3 Beef Brisket tacos, which meant I got to try 2 of them the next day at lunch? as it was more than she could eat. Our friends had Beef Brisket with slaw and a Stuffed Baked Potato that she says was amazing. We will be returning before our departure for Canada.”

My husband, on the other hand, had the Smuggler and the hostess recommended the sausage gravy topping. He said the burrito was fabulous but ruined by the sausage gravy. If you are a sausage gravy fan, do not order this as you will be disappointed. He said the sausage in the gravy was so heavily coated with flour, you couldn't taste the sausage. Due to that, the gravy did not have that sausagy flavor you are looking for. My husband is a cook and true foodie, so I trust his review.”

I've been going to this chain for decades, but this store only years ago, and this is a great store for quick and good service. Just remember that a large sandwich is not just large but truly massive, and the workers will remind you of that. A medium sandwich is what most would normally expect. I guess Panda Express has been in Galveston for a couple of years or so now & It looks today just like it did the first day it opened for business, including the bathrooms. A lot of places leave their oil sick for a while and you can taste it when they fry something up but this place doesn't have that old oil taste to their fried food. Great flavor and big chunks of meat. We shared snd were full. The small queso and guacamole aren’t tiny. We had more than enough for two. Loved the thin, homemade flour tortillas! Guacamole was freshly made. Chips were toasted and the salsa verde was awesome but too spicy for me. We had tea and water but saw some huge micheladas being served on our way out. We’ll go again for breakfast. Very clean, bright and inviting. Annie was one of our two waitresses, both impeccable with timing and refills on tea, water & chips. Go see them!”

The quality of the food is as good, if not better, than any of the higher priced restaurants. Then there's the cleanliness, I always figure in the cleanliness of a restaurant when deciding how I feel about it & most every fast food restaurant starts showing cleaning issues within the first 6 months of opening. I guess Panda Express has been in Galveston for a couple of years or so now & It looks today just like it did the first day it opened for business, including the bathrooms. That says says a lot to me about the management & the employees. My wife had a combination meal where she had a cup of gumbo. The gumbo was chicken and sausage gumbo I have to say that the gumbo was absolutely terrible. We had a similar experience with Landry's restaurant near Lafayette. The gumbo there was Even worse. It's really unfortunate that people who try gumbo and don't know how gumbo is supposed to taste was exposed to that dish. My wife and family and extended family all know how to cook gumbo and Mr fertitta really ought to get somebody else to make his gumbo for him and his restaurant.”

Unknowingly we three went on prom night and they were packed from top to bottom. Redfish, street corn, mashed sweet potatoes, broccolini, green beans and bread pudding were shared with an appetizer of the must have deviled eggs; the bacon jam does something special to the taste. We ended up the bar upstairs which was fine. I live here and went pre-Covid but didn’t review. Both times have been great experiences. “Always a favorite, but greatly disappointed today with the hostess today. We arrived 4 persons requesting a table of 6 for a birthday celebration. She refused to seat us till all guest arrived. As we complained she finally told us to go wait at a large table with barstools.A server approached us and told us that we needed to order if we sat in his section. All of our group work in the service industry and leave a hefty gratuity. The restaurant was half empty and could have easily accommodate a party of six with 2 people arriving 10 minutes later.”

“We were a party of 7. Saw the reviews and decided to give them a shot. Called and asked if there was a wait and was told no, so we headed that way. Got a call 5 minutes later stating that they had a table already set for us. Wow!Our waiter (forgot his name ?‍♂️) was polite and thorough. Food was priced very fairly and everyone enjoyed what they ordered (gumbo, bacon wrapped shrimp, bourbon street, shrimp platter, etc.) While waiting for our food, noticed that the GM seems to have a problem with our waiter. Actually told him to “leave and come back with a better attitude”. News to us, as he seemed very pleasant….?‍♂️ This exchange took place next to the order pick up window which was right in the seating area. The manager approached them and they all went to the back. The situation was handled very well from that point forth. Everyone returned to their job shortly thereafter. (Even the GM who continued with doing absolutely nothing productive).In conclusion, food was great, service was great and glad they had at least one competent person in house to handle the GM’s compete lack of care.You have a staff that seems to work well together (outside of the GM) and solid food. Don’t jeopardize it.I’ll be glad to discuss our overall experience more in depth with an owner.”

Awesome gulf views and trendy outdoor furniture takes this place up a notch from the others on the Seawall, it's a cool place as we stopped by on our bikes (Which they do not have a bike rack) which is rare on the seawall. I can say it is a little pricey, even the drinks.”
