Don’t walk, RUN to this bar. Amazing drinks and amazing staff. Was blown away this is in a hotel. If you see Sam, ask for a Mexican Swamp Candy, a margarita or Old Cuban. If you’re lucky and both Sam and Victoria are there ask Victoria for a strawberry shortcake Martini (don’t really know the name but that’s what it tasted like). Both of those bartenders are a great find by this hotel.
My husband and I popped in for an after-dinner cocktail to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were treated perfectly. The cocktails were delicious, and the ambiance was delightful. They sent us home with chocolate cake as an anniversary treat! We can't wait to come back.
We stayed 3 nights at the beautiful Grand Galvez hotel and enjoyed the lovely bar each evening. Our mixologist ASHTAN was very friendly and expertly created delicious cocktails for us and our friends. We also enjoyed the food one evening. We shared the short rib slider entree and the goat cheese appetizer which were both delicious. We will definitely visit again.

Founder’s bar is a must-visit spot with amazing drinks and amazing staff. Guests are blown away it is in a hotel. Ask for a Mexican Swamp Candy, a margarita or Old Cuban. The cocktails are delicious, the ambiance is delightful, and the food is delicious, including the short rib slider entree and goat cheese appetizer. Visitors enjoyed an anniversary treat of chocolate cake. The friendly mixologist expertly created delicious cocktails.
