The Grand Galvez buffet is as elegant as it is legendary. First, the ambience of the entire hotel is amazing. History and elegance of a time well preserved in beautiful displays, sharing the rich history of Galveston. Great ! I would like to recommend Cristina for a best customer service during our lunch on Sept 21. I would recommend that the evening service need to check more on the customer for any needs . Maybe our waiter has other assignment . However, a lady did help us . If the assigned waiter was pulled to other department that should be coordinated with the rest of the staff. Not sure though if that's the case because our waiter was taking order accross us , he never looked at our table...read full review
What a beautiful evening spent at Monarch last night celebrating our anniversary! The food was delicious and the presentation was perfection. Our waiter was helpful and thoughtful. The restaurant and hotel are so elegant and welcoming and the atmosphere is divine. We can't wait to come back on our next trip to Galveston!
