Delicious!! Decided we wanted to go where the locals during this vacay.
We love Shrimp n Stuff. It is always our first stop coming to Galveston. I love their gumbo!!! Also love the fried shrimp. 5 star!!!!
Exception food, great service. Our go to place when visiting Galveston.

Shrimp N Stuff Downtown is a restaurant serving AMAZING food with huge portions, often enough to take home for lunch the next day. The menu includes Best crawdad po'boy EVER, shrimp stack salad, coconut Shrimp, fried catfish bites, shrimp salad sandwiches, cups of gumbo, Chicken Fried Steak, Shrimp Po' Boy, a Special of Lobster (5 oz) Shrimp (5 grilled) plus Jalapeno Rice and Salad, and a Po Boy Combo fish & shrimp. The jalapeño rice is really good. The food is delicious, seasoned just right, and comes out quickly. The restaurant appears clean and the waitstaff are helpful. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, with food that is delicious as always. Some reviews note that service can be quiet, as one server was way too quiet and hard to hear, and two would have been better. It is a nice place, but for a much better local vibe, try the other location. Either location has good food.
