“First visit since we had to adopt a gluten free diet. I'd looked at the menu ahead of time and knew what the gluten sensitive options were and ordered confidently. Our waitress was amazing as soon as I said "gluten free." She confirmed that it's a necessity for us, made sure the chips and queso ordered for the table were prepped so they were safe for us, and even brought us a brand new ketchup bottle for our fries. Awesome experience and I can't wait to visit again.“

“What a great spot! Even the manager was awesome. He even let my son pet an alive lobster! I will say that every single restaurant employee was very friendly. 🙂
We tried the crabcake, peel n' eat shrimp, and the crawfish queso. All of the items were done very well.
Too bad we ate quite a bit before we came because we can't wait to try some more items from off the menu. We really enjoyed watching the large ships, and even saw some dolphins!
This is a highly recommended spot, and we will definitely be back when in town.“

“My husband and I have been coming to Galveston for years, and not sure how we have missed this place! Definitely inviting, food is great, even “Real” homemade grated hash browns! The waitresses were a sweetheart and took good care of us and even met the owner, very down to earth man. Definitely will be back!“

“This is a great little place to eat!! I had grilled shrimp taco's and they were wonderful.! The other dishes that were ordered were just as good! Hamburger steak, pizza, grilled chicken po boy. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the price was just as accommodating as the food was!“

“A few dozen oysters were had tonight—all fabulous. But my faves were something I’ve never had before: The BBQ oysters with house-made blue cheese dressing. Just delicious. I couldn’t decide which type of mussels—fra diablo or the pesto chardonnay—so I ordered them both. I was not disappointed. Ask for the garlic bread. OMG. Chef Megan and Brenna took great care of us. It was nice to see David too! 10 out of 10 for food, service, and company.“
“Island Time became our watering hole on our recent vacation and we were so happy with our experience. The staff was amazing, especially Julie and Josh, the drinks were fantastic, the food was your typical bar food but it was good, and the drag show was entertaining. The only negative that our group had to say was that the drag performers were a little too push for tips; literally putting their hand in front of you for a tip. This happened a few times to us, and others, and when we tipped them one of them rolled their eyes and said “that’s it”. Other than that, we had a great time and would totally go back to this fun and welcoming place.“

“Great brunch pancakes were fluffy and tasty and desserts were top notch. we had the buttermilk pie and blackberry cheesecake. I'm not 100% sure but i think they use their house made granola as crust for the cheesecake.“
