“Shrimp and oysters were severely under cooked, almost raw. We have been going to this restaurant for years and it was always great but will not go back! We told the cashier and she was not receptive, just took our money. There didn't seem to be a manager or owner available for us to talk to. We will not be back and will certainly spread this news!“

“Stopped in for a quick Breakfast and I have to say Randi was absolutely amazing! Hands down the best service. My 3 year old is autistic so we try not to go out to often. “Delightful New Orleans style brunch with chandeliers and choice of buffet or menu. I’ve had the buffet both times I’ve been here, nice variety of choices including crab and peel and eat shrimp. Don’t miss the banana foster French toast made on demand, or the carving table prime rib. Looks like an expensive bougie place but even the buffet is only $40 and the menu items very reasonable.
The manager, Doug, was amazing at accommodating our big group on little notice, even when we had additional people join our table. No fuss, just made sure everyone felt welcome. Our waiter Chris prepared a special treat for a birthday boy with us. And overall just made sure everybody was taken care of and had a good time.

“The food is excellent! On Sunday's they have a DJ & the music is a little loud but good. There's usually a line to the door but the wait, about 15 minutes, is well worth it. Nothing real fancy. The food is served in to-go containers with plastic wear. They do have a seating area that's large enough to accommodate you or your group if you choose to dine in.“
“The food was very reasonably priced. Was good too. The waitress was so nice and very friendly. We will definitely go back for more. The tater tots were delicious, cooked perfectly and the homemade burger was scrumptious. Like I said I will be going back for something else on the menu.“

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.“

“While working in the Area I stopped by The Busy Bee Cafe, Lauren F. Was amazing the food was awesome it was a nice place to have Lunch and definitely will return to have Breakfast!!

“I have seen four bad reviews.I think they must be talking about another place.We started going there a little over two years ago.We eat there at least once a week,sometimes twice and not on ce was there a bad meal.They have had a little trouble with Chefs as the one who had been there a long time,who.drove from Galveston every daY, left early this year He was great.The other Chef who came was ok but not successful and did not last long and I do not know if they have another permanent Chef or if the Chef's assistants are doing it at the moment.Whatever the food is always good and plenty and they have 22 beers on drought and offers on drin ks and food every day.Food is served until 10pm every night except Fri and SaT when it is 11pm aNd they are open until midnight every day except Fri and SsturdaY when it is 1am.The staff are great and the Customers are great. We have made at least 20good friends and I mean Good friends who are now close friends ,since going there.If you want grest food,great.drinks,meet nice people,this is the place.I always saY there is always an ear that will.listen and someone to laugh with.I do not understand the bad reviews of whic h I saw only four going bac to20 21.This is NOT this place.“

“EVERYTHING is fantastic here! My parents were married in 1963 in Freeport. They honeymooned in Galveston. They drove through Alvin and stopped at Dairyland on the way. Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. I have been going to Dairyland and eating and hanging out for the last 45 yrs!! I have had everything on the menu and it’s all good! There is not a teenager from Alvin that hasn’t eaten and hung out here since 1960!!“

“Tonight we ordered drinks, an appetizer of lasagna rolls, and a large supreme pizza. Savannah was our server, she was fantastic! Savannah was on top of our drinks food, dips, refills, and was the best server we've had in our 4 times there. We had to tell her so. Highly recommend their delicious sourdough crust pizzas and their happy hour drinks. Texas peach tea, cherry limemade with vodka, lasagna rolls, and excellent service! We'll be back and ask for Savannah!“

“I have been eating here for so many years. The Best Catfish in the Greater Houston/Galveston area. I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." A MUST when in the area or traveling to Galveston. 5 stars all the way...they treat you like family.“

As Lago Mar residents and frequent guests of Blue Lagoon, we were confident the event would be wonderful—and it truly was. From booking through the conclusion of the evening, everything was seamless. Hayden, the manager, was exceptional in communicating every detail and ensuring the planning process was smooth. The menu was flexible, accommodating, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious when served. Karen, the coordinator, was nothing short of outstanding. She was readily available, attentive to every detail, and went above and beyond to make the event truly special. We were also incredibly impressed with the staff—Noah, Molly, and manager Tristan—who were professional, attentive, and took excellent care of our entire party. The venue was very flexible in working with our decorator, which made the day run effortlessly. From start to finish, we experienced top-notch customer service and outstanding food. We couldn’t have asked for a better reception experience.“

“It's been quite a few years since I had been to a Captain D' s. The exterior has seen better days but it's the I was coming for. The inside seemed ripe for renovation. Food was rather prompt but the fish portions were long and skinny. Hush puppies were nice and hot as were the fries. Not many others were dining at the same time but they seemed to be doing steady to go business. Would return.“
