Katie's Bar in Bacliff is the BEST live music venue in Galveston County!! The staff is very friendly, and attentive. Even when it's packed they swing by the table to see if you need anything. Great atmosphere. They have live music almost all week long. You can go any night of the week and hear some great music! Best live music venue around! Desi and her staff are the BEST!!! The bands are amazing, great drinks and good bar food. We’ve been going to Katie’s for years and feel so fortunate to have such a friendly safe place to go hear the best blues music in Galveston county. I go to Katie's for the music. I did in on open mic nights and jam. They almost always have to notch local and regional band. The food is primarily bar pizza but it's not too bad. They just started having steak night on Wednesday's. Definitely worth going for steaks cooked to order by my friend Denby. You get Angus steak, potatoe, side and salad for $25. My wife and I can split 1 and it's plenty. The bar and wait staff are the best. Drinks are reasonably priced and consistent.
