Marais Reviews
Love this place! It was our first time coming here and everyone was super nice. The food was sooooo delicious! We are still talking about it! Will return, if I could give more stars I would. (I corrected the stars, 5 Stars! 😁)
Fantastic dinner! Amazing service from start to finish.
Celebrated our anniversary here and our waitress was amazing. They decorated the table with rose petals and candles. We were given complimentary champagne to toast and take pictures. It was beautiful! The food was incredible! We enjoyed the 4-course offerings. What a lovely experience! You wouldn’t know it but in the heart of Dickinson, this elegant place exists!!

Marais is a wonderful place for a book club meeting or any gathering. The atmosphere is perfect, and the food and drinks are excellent. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, with Savanna providing wonderful service, although some guests noted the need for better meal splitting when sharing dishes. The chef is clearly passionate about their craft, and every dish is a work of art and packed with flavor. The shrimp and grits are highly praised, with one reviewer calling them the best ever, while the Elk chops also received outstanding reviews. Additionally, the Bacon Candy and Bourbon Street Redfish have been highlighted as top meals. Visitors have enjoyed dining from the Houston Restaurant Week menu, finding the meal satisfying. Overall, Marais offers a great dining experience with a mix of positive reviews, some noting the crab beignets and shrimp and grits as average compared to homemade versions. The restaurant exudes fine dining but can be lively, especially with a band that some find too loud during brunch. Despite this, many would return, perhaps requesting a quieter room for a more relaxed experience. Marais is also a great choice for celebrations, ensuring that guests have a successful time.
