“I reserved the Emmitte Room to host a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents. I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. Brandice was the lead server the evening of the party and she was the ultimate professional and added so much value to an already amazing evening! Thank you to Doug, Brandice and the rest of the team for helping me to pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without you all. (The room was stunning and the food was out of this world!)“

Hillman Seafood is a staple in this area for their variety of fresh seafood. They also have other products for sale such as Louisianas ..The Best Stop Cajun Foods , pre made hush puppies and other yummys they keep in the cooler next to the cold beer . They also sell live crawfish during season along with a selection of crawfish boil and seasonings. “Got delivery and it was a lot of food so leftovers heated up the next day. Unfortunately my roommate bit into a piece of catfish on his seafood platter and there was a hair in the breading. I really love the food at Fish Place but this is quite the turnoff and I doubt if we ever order from this location again.“

“I picked up the 3 fish and 6 shrimp. This a lot of food. Fish and shrimp are big pieces. Catfish was very good and perfectly cooked. Butterfly shrimp was fresh and just as good. Food was delicious. The coleslaw was maybe the best I have ever tasted. Very delicious coleslaw. Need to go back and order just a large coleslaw. Highly recommend. Definitely a hidden gem in dickinson.“
