The only small downside is I would not prob ever dine in as the summer time sun is set right on the place in the afternoon and the restaurant has nothing but glass windows in the entrance area so it was very hot in there but nothing they can really do to help this other than stop global warming.??‍♀️?“

“First it tastes like a homemade burger!!!!!! It had enough bacon to cut to cover the whole bun!!!!!! The bacon was thick and delicious!!!!!! In the meat taste like 100% beef!!!! But it needed a little more seasoning.... The bun was toasted well on both sides I could even taste the butter. The fries were obviously real from real potatoes but they weren't crunchy enough they weren't firm but they were okay... The best part the beef if you want to know where the beef is they have the beef... Five stars from me. WORTH TRYING OUT......“

“The menu is quite large with so much variety. Their house salad dressing is really delicious and if you choose the pasta Alfredo as your side you won’t believe how big the portion is. My husband got the stuffed red fish and for the first time ever couldn’t eat it all. I recommend sharing an entree so you can save room for dessert which I hear the bread pudding is delicious. “Oysters had too much cheese. NY strip was good. Sides potatoes and spinach were rich and plentiful. Way too loud in the dining room. Suggest just eating at one of the side bars. Parking is confusing without needed signage. Cocktails were good but a bit weak.

“The food was decent and the view was ver nice. The whole Kemah Boardwalk area is beautiful and fun for the whole family. A must visit if you are in the area. This restaurant in particular has a nice decor with lots of fish tanks to keep the kids entertained. I ordered the sampler (see picture) and the calamari and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. I would recommend it, specially if you are with your family.“

“Hidden gem!! We dined-in during our trip over Memorial Day 2021 and we were surprised with how delicious the food was. The salsa that came with the chips & salsa was super flavorful but not overly spicy. Their crab balls are Amazeballs!! You HAVE to order them! So yummy! Best I’ve had anywhere. The Cajun seafood pasta is delicious and is served in a massive portion that can easily be split between 2 people. Generous serving with lots of shrimp, sausage, and chicken. The fried pickles were fantastic. Sharp dills, great thickness, light batter. I ordered a side of red beans & rice as my main dish and it has a great texture and a hint of tart vinegar...would be best paired with cornbread or the amazing crab balls. I had a regular margarita on the rocks. It was ok. It was the most mediocre thing we ordered...so you KNOW the food is good. The music is great. We were here on Saturday from 8:30-10pm and the playlist was a great mix of Motown jams. 10/10 would recommend The Fish Place. We Absolutely recommend dining at this hidden gem!“

My wife and I have returned four times since the Grand Opening. Before this encounter, I don't remember my emotions ever telling me that a 20% tip is insufficient. This eatery is a must-visit.“

William made sure every special request was met promptly, all questions about the wine offerings, menu choices and preparation methods were answered. The food at Marais is nothing short of extraordinary. Our group enjoyed a delectable choice of appetizers (those deviled eggs!!!) and mouth-watering entrees; my husband’s Bourbon Street redfish was scrumptious, the crab cakes full of plump sweet meat, and the fried shrimp were juicy and tender with a crunchy cornmeal batter. “been here several times over the past 2 years and it doesnt seem to change my mind the flavor is better on the boiled food then before but the service isn't great each time we come I even came last month for my sons bday and no kinda of acknowledgement and I even told her it was my sons bday this is favorite place …we seem to get the same waitress and she isn't friendly at all or engages in any type of conversation at least towards us each time I go I have to ask the manger to bring something we need. she doesn't check up on us I'm in the industry too I could see if you were a lil busy or something but we typically go on slower nights and each time it is the same I've tried my best to go back and hopefully see a change but I don't and I'll make it my last time now and no I don't know her name she doesn't seem to introduce in any type of way so we can know but the bartender Gretchen in awesome“
