“Since moving to Texas eating at Pier 6 has been our favorite dining experience. The food was delicious and mirrored New Orleans finest. Chef Joe Cervantez culinary skills result in delicious food from appetizers, entree to desserts! Our waiter was extraordinary and was so kind and polite. The restaurant sits on Galveston Bay; hence the atmosphere is fun and lively along with a beautiful view.“

“Went to Gilhooley’s for lunch today. We shared an order of fried boudin balls as an appetizer. I ordered the Oysters Gilhooley’s, my husband and Stepson had the fried catfish and shrimp. Everything was AMAZING! The service was fantastic! Highly recommend!“

“First it tastes like a homemade burger!!!!!! It had enough bacon to cut to cover the whole bun!!!!!! The bacon was thick and delicious!!!!!! In the meat taste like 100% beef!!!! But it needed a little more seasoning.... The bun was toasted well on both sides I could even taste the butter. The fries were obviously real from real potatoes but they weren't crunchy enough they weren't firm but they were okay... The best part the beef if you want to know where the beef is they have the beef... Five stars from me. WORTH TRYING OUT......“

“We’ve been going to the Aquarium Restaurant for years. This time it was a turnaround… Our daughter took us to celebrate the memories of us going over the years. We were a large group with six small grandchildren and four adults. Our server, Maria, did an absolutely amazing job managing the group, the orders and absolutely everything. Well done!“

“I'll rate it about a 3.75, I guess. Although my Bang Bang Shrimp was great my sister's said their sampler plate was somewhat less to be desired. We had to wait quite a while for our server, Amy, and they weren't extremely busy. A manager did come to check on us & went out of her way to find my sister a bottle of Coca-Cola :) Gift shop prices are outrageous, but it's a fun place with nice scenic views!“

I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." A MUST when in the area or traveling to Galveston. 5 stars all the way...they treat you like family.“

“The menu is quite large with so much variety. Their house salad dressing is really delicious and if you choose the pasta Alfredo as your side you won’t believe how big the portion is. My husband got the stuffed red fish and for the first time ever couldn’t eat it all. I recommend sharing an entree so you can save room for dessert which I hear the bread pudding is delicious. I just didn’t have room“

“Is there mice in the indoors, yes. Will i come back to eat?, ABSOLUTELY. The food has never failed to be amazing and not to mention the service is amazing as well. Yes i saw a mouse but everyone gets a little hungry sometimes and animals deserve food too! Plus alive been going here my whole life and never saw anything like that until then. From the moment we walked in, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The highlight was when Frank arranged for the kitchen to make my husband’s favorite stuffed avocados—despite them no longer being on the menu. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch that made the evening unforgettable. Morgan provided warm, attentive service all night, making sure everything was perfect. Everything was excellent from the host, to the food, the atmosphere and our service top tier. We went tonight for our 4 year anniversary and they were so sweet about acknowledging the occasion. “Hidden gem!! We dined-in during our trip over Memorial Day 2021 and we were surprised with how delicious the food was. The salsa that came with the chips & salsa was super flavorful but not overly spicy. Their crab balls are Amazeballs!! You HAVE to order them! So yummy! Best I’ve had anywhere. The Cajun seafood pasta is delicious and is served in a massive portion that can easily be split between 2 people. Generous serving with lots of shrimp, sausage, and chicken. The fried pickles were fantastic. Sharp dills, great thickness, light batter. I ordered a side of red beans & rice as my main dish and it has a great texture and a hint of tart vinegar...would be best paired with cornbread or the amazing crab balls. I had a regular margarita on the rocks. It was ok. It was the most mediocre thing we ordered...so you KNOW the food is good. The music is great. We were here on Saturday from 8:30-10pm and the playlist was a great mix of Motown jams. 10/10 would recommend The Fish Place. We Absolutely recommend dining at this hidden gem!“

“We went to Tangers and after shopping, were searching for Halal food nearby and surprisingly found this.
The service is too good the guy at the counter was very receptive, took our order carefully, guided us sincerely and served us promptly.
We ordered crunchy box meal, boneless sweet and sour wings and chicken tenders.
The food was served hot and the chicken was juicy, crispy and flavorful.
There is nice outdoor seating and ample indoor seating too

I booked a birthday dinner for my boyfriend and the owner called me personally and spoke with me and made sure that she decorated our table personally and even got us a private room (which I had no idea was going to happen)! When we arrived, there were beautiful balloons, candles and a stunning room filled with low lights and music. Her husband even came in to make sure everything was to our liking and the waitress (Chloe) was outstanding! I cannot say how wonderful each and every person was that night and how great the food was as well. We will for sure be regular customers at this restaurant for years to come! “We live in Austin, but every time we visit Bacliff we go to Noah's ark even 3 times a day during our weekend, their breakfast is very good, but what I love the most is their seafood menu. The grill oysters are amazing, the tuna tostada, and fish plates are our favorites. Second floor I believe is the smokers area, so we always eat in the first floor, or outside it's awesome as well. The workers are very nice as well.“

“We can go anywhere we want for a great time. The Rusty Hook will not disappoint, ever. I love the buffet, especially at lunch. The menu is fantastic, the crawlfish are amazing. Be sure to order your crawlfish at the spice level you want, because the taste is there. Service is wonderful. Go enjoy their amazing cuisine. 5 Stars all the way.“
