“This has become our Tuesday nite burger which is the best in town. People are down home and the always make you feel welcome.“

“First it tastes like a homemade burger!!!!!! It had enough bacon to cut to cover the whole bun!!!!!! The bacon was thick and delicious!!!!!! In the meat taste like 100% beef!!!! But it needed a little more seasoning.... The bun was toasted well on both sides I could even taste the butter. The fries were obviously real from real potatoes but they weren't crunchy enough they weren't firm but they were okay... The best part the beef if you want to know where the beef is they have the beef... Five stars from me. WORTH TRYING OUT......“

“If your debating where to go try Boyds! Food is phenomenal we tried boudin, crab cakes, po boys, crawfish, shrimp and more. Literally everything was 10/10. The young girl that takes your order was super helpful too. All around great experience“

“We went to Tangers and after shopping, were searching for Halal food nearby and surprisingly found this.
The service is too good the guy at the counter was very receptive, took our order carefully, guided us sincerely and served us promptly.
We ordered crunchy box meal, boneless sweet and sour wings and chicken tenders.
The food was served hot and the chicken was juicy, crispy and flavorful.
There is nice outdoor seating and ample indoor seating too
We really enjoyed the Krispy Krunchy and juicy chicken“

“The food is the best I’ve had in the area. Warm salsa and crispy chips. Charro beans were simply the best. Margaritas were good. Atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was exceptional. Will definitely bring my family back.“

“Went for the first time on Sunday. Upon entering, we approached the check in/ cashier desk. Wait staff were walking back & forth as we stood & no one said a word. No greeting, not we will be right with you. Not a word! One young lady ( Wish I would have gotten her name) she was sitting right there, preparing serving utensils. She did not say a word as we stood there. I've never felt so uncomfortable, unwelcome, & disregarded! Never! Finally, another wait staff that was helping over at the check out computer, walked over & asked the young lady who was sitting there to assist us! Still, not a word to us! The young lady stood up & with the worse attitude, she asked did we want to sit inside or outside. While I was asking my husband his preference, she rolled her eyes & and rudely asked , " Inside or out!? Again, I wish I had asked her name, but she appeared to be the youngest. Between being disregarded as we walked in & stood, and her attitude, I told my husband I was uncomfortable & wanted to leave! He pushed back & said let's give it a chance beyond this! So we stayed & were seated outside as we preferred. Then comes our waitress! What a pleasant surprise & she turned our experience around! We learned that she had not been there but 3 days or 3 weeks. ( I forget) her name is Amanda & she is pregnant. She's such a pleasant & nice person! We felt badly for sitting outside, because she worked so diligently. It was quite a walk in the heat, because we chose to sit outside on the pier that was a bit of a walk. Again, she was so pleasant & professional! The drinks & food are superb! From the oyster 🦪 appetizers, to the platters! Delicious! Some of the best seafood & side orders, ever! Truly! Drinks are flavorful, delicious, and they aren't stingy or scarce with the liquor. 😆 I would absolutely visit again, but truly afraid of the treatment, unless it's Amanda again“

“They have many gluten free items on their menu and the staff is very knowledgeable about celiac disease. The customer service and care was outstanding. I was attending a large private party with a buffet. They prepared a gluten free dinner just for me. I will be back.“

“This is a restaurant that bought an old shut down fast food restaurant (Burger King or McDonald’s). One of those family owned restaurants where you know the food is gonna hit. It has a lot of charms about it.

There were 3 of us and we got 2 combos (fish and shrimp combo) and it was enough to fill all of us up. The taste was great and the fried rice was really good too.

The server was very polite and she brought out all the sauces and things we needed.“

“Hidden gem!! We dined-in during our trip over Memorial Day 2021 and we were surprised with how delicious the food was. The salsa that came with the chips & salsa was super flavorful but not overly spicy. Their crab balls are Amazeballs!! You HAVE to order them! So yummy! Best I’ve had anywhere. The Cajun seafood pasta is delicious and is served in a massive portion that can easily be split between 2 people. Generous serving with lots of shrimp, sausage, and chicken. The fried pickles were fantastic. Sharp dills, great thickness, light batter. I ordered a side of red beans & rice as my main dish and it has a great texture and a hint of tart vinegar...would be best paired with cornbread or the amazing crab balls. I had a regular margarita on the rocks. It was ok. It was the most mediocre thing we ordered...so you KNOW the food is good. The music is great. We were here on Saturday from 8:30-10pm and the playlist was a great mix of Motown jams. 10/10 would recommend The Fish Place. We Absolutely recommend dining at this hidden gem!“

“This was a lovely dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant was decorated so nicely for the holidays, and everyone in our party (ages 1-61) was treated so well by the staff.

The food was cooked perfectly from the steaks to the seafood. I enjoyed a red snapper Wellington which I’ve never seen on a menu before anywhere. So unique and delicious. The bread pudding for dessert was flavorful as well. We’d definitely return!“

“I had the Steakhouse Skewer with lobster, filet mignon, and colossal shrimp. It was fabulous, but next time my husband and I will share it. So much food! We were staying at another resort and had no way to take home the leftovers. Our waiter, Ricardo, was absolutely amazing. He made everything so wonderful. My only complaint, which is huge, is about the majority of the clientele. Loud, obnoxious, men wearing backwards caps and shorts in a very elegant atmosphere. When i go to a rather expensive restaurant, I would expect to see better behavior. So many were acting like it was a sports bar.“

I booked a birthday dinner for my boyfriend and the owner called me personally and spoke with me and made sure that she decorated our table personally and even got us a private room (which I had no idea was going to happen)! When we arrived, there were beautiful balloons, candles and a stunning room filled with low lights and music. Her husband even came in to make sure everything was to our liking and the waitress (Chloe) was outstanding! I cannot say how wonderful each and every person was that night and how great the food was as well. We will for sure be regular customers at this restaurant for years to come! “We live in Austin, but every time we visit Bacliff we go to Noah's ark even 3 times a day during our weekend, their breakfast is very good, but what I love the most is their seafood menu. The grill oysters are amazing, the tuna tostada, and fish plates are our favorites. Second floor I believe is the smokers area, so we always eat in the first floor, or outside it's awesome as well. The workers are very nice as well.“
