“The Bartenders on 4-4-24 evening. Care about there customers. The most important thing of being a bartender is to talk to your customers. To make them feel like they're welcome. Well the bartenders that night not only talked with all there customers they made me feel very important. That's how to bartend. Not a easy job.but these kids know what they are doing. As a ex general manager of a restaurant for 40 years. Very impressed.“
“J. T. and his crew are the BEST. If I owned a restaurant, I would hire him as my manager. He can do any job, cook, bartend, wait tables and always does it with a smile. Jade is very friendly and professional and Blanca can cook some great waffles. This is a weekly stop for my family. Food is always fresh and great. Worth a visit.“
“We got delivery for our salads and french fries, and it came quickly. The fries were still hot, and the salads were cold. My only complaint is the fries were slightly soggy in a way? Not a problem for my family though. Because we prefer them that way. Amazing food and a great tradition for my family.“
“Very professional wait staff. Devin did a great job checking on the table and keeping We ordered a burger cooked medium rare (it was seared- raw except for browned outer layer), chicken sandwich, shrimp cocktail and fried asparagus. The cocktail sauce was great. Lots of horseradish flavor. The fried asparagus was good, but lump crab was not the best.“
“Nice place. Good food, the Snapper was perfect and the Key Lime pie, top notch.! Wife had Filet mignon and Chocolate cake which was wonderful.TBH this isn't a once a week or a once a month place for the wife and I but for our 1st visit, we'll be back. Enjoy Life “
“My family wanted crawfish so we decided to try somewhere local instead of our usual spot. My wife and I ordered the crawfish special which includes three pounds crawfish, 2 potatoes, 2 corns, and 2 eggs. We also added a pound of shrimp and it came out to be around 40ish bucks. Not too bad. Before we completed our order, our waitress mentioned that it was the price for frozen crawfish and the live crawfish was going to be $15/pound which is totally overpriced! We decided to opt out of the live crawfish and imo it wasn’t worth it.After we had our meal, I tried to use my Bay Area Food Lovers card that allows me to get 10% off for up to four guest (we had a party of 7, but we only ordered 4 specials), but I was told that I could only use it for myself and I could not include the three other orders.Overall, the crawfish size was small and the flavor was decent, so maybe we will try it again later in the season.“
“Crawfish season is here and I'm ready!!! After a rainy day which ran into the evening, we decided to venture over to TX Crawfish & Seafood Restaurant. Our service was very attentive and we always appreciate good conversation. As we were scanning the menu, he made his recommendation on food items which is a plus especially for us being first timers. Of course, I opted for 3 lbs of crawfish with all the seasonings and top level spiciness. My husband was feeling a little bold, so he chose the Spicy Fried Rice with Sausage and a bowl of the Beans and Sausage.Overall, everything was delicious! In fact, I took home enough crawfish to settle my craving until next time. As for the other food items, my husband mentioned that the Spicy Fried with Sausage could use some spicy heat. As that's what any should expect. And the Beans and Sausage was not as seasoned perhaps missing the balance of sea salt.No worries because we'll be back!“
“Ok i had this urges For some kind of oyster and voila i came here and the experience was great .great good great service and the taste was fenomenal full y recomend this place in top of that así For KAREN she Will guide You through the menu so You can make the most out of this place . .“
“Wow, what a hidden gem!!! The atmosphere was romantic, with impeccable service, yet casual, as it is right by the water. 4 people ate, 1 had snapper, 1 had mahi-mahi, 1 had the broiled special with scallops, lobster, shrimp, I had cheese grits with blackened shrimp and andouille sausage. The chef's kiss (I tried everyone's dish). It is out of the way, without the crowd. Will be back!!!“
“We walked in and immediately greeted by Marina and Chris both woth a warm welcome. First time here Marina explained the specials and had visual plates to reference.Food was fantastic!!! She gave us a bit of the history of the place and recommended items. Mrs Heidi re-enforced the recommendations Marina gave us were great ones.Chris followed up and checked on us frequently (loved that) Marina checked on us as well! Place was clean and well lit!!Parking: Parking was available and easy“
“Update: just celebrated my 65 birthday. Lobster! This is my most favorite seafood restaurant. Everything is 100%. There's not a bad item on the menu! Today we kept it simple with a Greek salad and their seafood soup, which is awesome! Been coming here since a place was built. Tonight it was brother and sister night!“
“Whether takeout, dining on the patio, or inside the restaurant, delicious spaghetti and meatballs, amazing hot bread w dipping spices, chopped salad w grilled shrimp, all just DELICIOUS!!!Parking: Easy to get to restaurant plus there is curbside where they bring to you!!!“
“Food is usually good. This time not so good. Got sausage plate. Rice and sauce were cold. Seems like it sat out most of morning. If this was my first time here I wouldn't recommend it. I still think I'd give it another try someday.“
“This is the first time I visit Marcos Seafood. My dining experience was great. I had a Vuelve a la Vida cocktail and it was delicious. Then I had the fried shrimp and fish. All food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was nice with good music. The price to dine here is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place.“
“First time at this place for lunch and absolutely loved it!! From the moment we walked in, we were greated and the gentleman at the register who took our order was so friendly and helped with my ordering as well since it was new to me. The food was out fairly quick especially it being that they were busy (lunch hour) and food was delicious. I definitely recommend & will be returning!“
“It was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and it was awesome! It’s $30.95 per person for dinner and it all you can eat. Tables can’t be occupied for longer than 2 hours. There’s a ton of different options to choose from and while we had our favorites, everything we had was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Service was fantastic. Can’t remember our servers name, but he did wonderful! Very attentive and made our visit comfortable. Enjoyed all of the salsas that came out with the chips. Queso with steak was perfect. The cups were cute and enormous, which is great for my husband because he is always having to ask for refills. We ordered quesadillas and they were delicious. Amazing little hidden gem. Will be back for sure. Definitely recommend!!“
“Delicious food in generous portions! Excellent service and great atmosphere! Courteous and capable employees who step up to help each other if needed with a smile on their faces! Will definitely be returning! Also, delicious bread pudding even to go!“
“Always a great food experience. I have many food allergies and intolerances, and they take very good care of me. If you need modifications, it helps to come early or late, not at rush. Fun atmosphere (plenty of tv screens at every angle) and friendly environment. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Plenty of sides to choose fromDietary restrictions: I'm Celiac with many other intolerance s. They are very open to taking care of you, as long as it's not during a rush.“
“Food was good. I got a quesadilla & my husband got a lamb gyro. Portion sizes were generous & the food was very fresh. The white sauce is absolutely delicious.Parking: Very popular place at lunch might be a little tricky to get a parking spot“
“What a great experience this turned out to be. Peppers is a midsized Non-chain restaurant in Pasadena, Tx. This was my first time here and I was impressed. The building from the outside is beautifully maintained and welcoming, with a uniquely landscaped front garden. Once inside it gets better. We were greated by a friendly young host and taken through an immaculately clean dining room to our table. It is a real, sit down restaurant. It is calm, was quiet, and comfortable. There were couples, small groups, and families with children. Our waiter arrived with menus almost immediately. The menu is not huge but had something for everyone. I don't remember seeing hot dogs but I didn't look at the kid menu. It has a varied offering of steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken, hamburgers, veggies, sides, and appetizers. Oh yeah, and a very nice full bar. They make an excellent lemondrop martini. The serving size of our meals was generous and appealing. Many of the entrees offer a size choice in case you want a smaller meal. The fried catfish and shrimp entree was huge with thick perfectly fried seafood. It made me wish I had some of those shrimp. My pan-seared redfish crabmeat/butter sauce was excellent. The smothered steak was also very tasty with a nice, thick steak burger under gravy and onions. Our sides were not canned or bland. A big fully loaded (no scrimping) baked potato, big, thick asparagus...everything really was upscale quality food and worth the somewhat expensive price. Most of the entrees I was interested in were $16 to $25 dollars that included 2 sides and dinner rolls. But hey, you can barely get anything under $15 dollars at Cheddars and that is for canned, frozen, and mushy food. So yes, if I am getting a nice dinner out I would rather splurge a little and go back to Peppers. I don't know if my food pics do this restaurant justice and I wish I had taken pictures of the really nice dining room. The plates are loaded and presented nicely. The ONLY thing that needs improvement in my opinion is the dinner rolls. They were disappointing. We were too full to try any desert this time. I would recommend Peppers based on an excellent first time dining experience. My parents eat here often.Parking: There is a lot of parking.Kid-friendliness: It seemed that children are very welcome here. There were several children dining. They were very well-behaved and appeared to be enjoying themselves. Kudos to their parents.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no problem with wheelchairs here.“
“I picked up the 3 fish and 6 shrimp. This a lot of food. Fish and shrimp are big pieces. Catfish was very good and perfectly cooked. Butterfly shrimp was fresh and just as good. Food was delicious. The coleslaw was maybe the best I have ever tasted. Very delicious coleslaw. Need to go back and order just a large coleslaw. Highly recommend. Definitely a hidden gem in dickinson.“
“Pook’s Crawfish Hole was everything I expected and more. The crawfish had a great flavor and the menu was great, even providing options for kids who do not eat seafood. My husband had the Pook’s platter so he was able to get a mix of boiled crawfish, shrimp, and crab. Our waitress, Shelbi, was amazing and she was very helpful. I can’t wait to go back for more crawfish!“
“Relaxing dining experience. Best Fried Green Tomatoes. Flounder was perfection. Loved the shoestring onion rings. It's a HUGE tower. The wait staff is friendly and helpful and with the great food we had a wonderful dining experience. We loved the oysters also.Visited again. Brook was our waitress and she was wonderful. Food was great as always. We have returned many more times but I don't know how to leave another review. Perfect dining experience.“
“Got door dash from gyro guys - we ordered a chicken gyro pita, a lamb and rice bowl, a salad and baklava. All of it looked so good and tasted amazing! We tried mint lemonade for the first time and, man, it was so fresh and good tasting. We were temporarily in town, but my sister lives in Houston full time and I told her she needs to eat there!!“
“I reserved the Emmitte Room to host a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents. I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. Brandice was the lead server the evening of the party and she was the ultimate professional and added so much value to an already amazing evening! Thank you to Doug, Brandice and the rest of the team for helping me to pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without you all. (The room was stunning and the food was out of this world!)“
“The food and the prices seemed good to me. But I am giving it 5 stars because one of the owners or waiters approached me with a great attitude of service. He ask me if I have any questions about the menu, he was perceptive enough to observe me and notice I didn't know what to order. I told him I wanted a soup, and then he gave me various recommendations on how to order my soup. He gave me a very good impression of how this young man treated me with a good customer service.I definitely will back there.“
“Today they did excellent. We had planned the meal time and day. Everything else was serendipitous. Server was good right off. Ordered the Queso as a trial. Fabulous queso will do this again. We decided to split the cajun ribeye. Very good choice, was quite tasty. The side salad and french fries topped it off. after thoroughly enjoying that feast, the manager stopped by and asked if we were enjoying our meal. We responding overwhelmingly, the wife threw in BD and the manager responded with a free desert. Does not get better.“
“It was really full when we arrived but staff communicated the waiting Time immediately. At the table we got served with homemade bread and spiced oil. We both ordered pasta which was very delicious and came with a salat beforehand for free. Therefore it was a very good choice not to order a starter. That would be too much.“
“(Translated by Google) I loved the service but above all the taste and presentation of the dishes, pleasant atmosphere and excellent service.(Original)Me encantó el servicio pero sobre todo el sabor y presentación de los platillos, agradable ambiente y excelente servicio.“
“Good draft beer selection and attentive bartenders. Food selection is good and more interesting than the typical sports bar of this style. Food quality was more on par with typical sports bar and didn't quite live up to the bistreaux expectations.“
“I have been going to this place for quite a while now and realized I’ve never left a review.Mollie, Destiny, Jake, Blake, and Cory are such a pleasure when they are bartending. The food is really good and they introduced me to crawfish (at the time was 5.99 a pound until 6pm).I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven’t already.“
“Not only are these wonderful breakfast tacos but the owner and staff were amazing! I purchased 15 tacos and they worked together to get them to me fast! They were hot, delicious, and over stuffed. I will definitely be stopping by more often to buy these amazing breakfast tacos for my staff. Thank you!!“
“This is the second my wife and I eat here. The first time the Pupusas were alright but the main entrees were amazing. This time we only tried main entrees and it didn’t disappoint. The food and the service was on point. We’ll try going a 3rd time in a few weeks to give the Pupusas a try again, hopefully they’re better. Nonetheless, the food at this restaurant is great!“
“Atmosphere is great, I got a lb. of cold boiled shrimp (it's shrimp only) it had a good spice and flavor (prefer medium sized) wife got the fried fish plate. I would compare the batter and texture to Captain D's (not country style), it also had a good flavor and the fries are kind of like seasoned fries. We also got a couple of canned beverages and a Bushwhacker (it was ok, used to the ones in Fla.). We would definitely go back“
“The atmosphere is a little dated, but don't let that fool you, the food is fantastic and the staff is great! I had the pad kee mao to try something new. Very nice wide-noodle dish with a chili sauce. Wife had the Thai-style beef stew (PB6, or #7 on the Saturday lunch menu). I tried hers and was blown away! So much flavor, and the beef was super tender. I am definitely ordering that one for myself next time.“
“A piece of Houston/Cajun-viet inspired heaven located in Southbelt. The house flavor is overall very consistent, which adds major points to their reputation. The chances of interacting with friendly cashiers are slim, maybe just adds character. Occasionally you will hear a commercial on their music streaming service, that is- if you don’t inhale the food in before a commercial plays.“
“Food was good better than expected I tried the other locations but this one has better service that most other locations, the ambiance of the place was like big time restaurant on valentines days busy ! So I take it as a good sign , I don't mind driving here from the nrg area when they food is great ! FYI anything they put on the grill with Cajun rice is a mussssttt“
“I recently had the pleasure of trying the lemon pepper wings and and I must say, they were absolutely fantastic. The flavor was spot on - the perfect balance of tangy lemon and savory pepper. The wings were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I couldn't get enough of them! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to make great recommendations.Overall, my experience at this restaurant was totally enjoyable. The combination of incredible lemon pepper wings and excellent service made for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious offerings. If you're a fan of wings, this place is a must-try!“
“It is a very cozy place, the food is excellent as well as the hygiene, you can indicate any change in the menu and they will do everything possible to ensure that you leave satisfied. The prices are good given their category. Keep it up, success.“
“This place is so neat! We recently went with a group of friends and as soon as you walk in you're in awe with the fresh sushi being made and the bagoda style booths. Our server was super sweet and answered all the questions we had about the different types of sushi and appetizers. The appetizers, sushi, salads and soups, and hibachi are all included in the all you can eat price as well as soft drinks and dessert. I'm not a huge sushi fan but there were lots of veggie options and cooked sushi as well. Not too expensive either when you consider how much sushi normally costs.“
“Absolutely delicious! I ordered six pounds of crawfish, corn, potatoes, and sausage for less than $50. The sides are not seasoned with the crawfish but it doesn't make them any less delicious. I recommend the side of butter for the sides. Boyd's crawfish is an absolute steel for the price, quality, and size! Boyds outshines the other local crawfish restaurants. Great job!“
“This is exactly the kind of spot I've been needing in my life. Super chilled, laid back, right on the water, outside and inside seating. Incredibly friendly service. Our server/bartender upstairs was fantastic(I didn't get her name but she had blonde/pink hair, I think)) we went on a Sunday just in time for Singo!anyway 10/10 will be there again. That banana drink is so good!!“
“This is mine and my families go to when we want pizza not just because the pizza is so good but because of the customer service, the manager and the driver is always so sweet to me and kindness and great customer service goes a long way, and the food is always on point and delicious!! I will continue to order from here!!“
“My Husband and I had Our 23rd Anniversary Dinner this evening and Our Experience was Absolutely Amazing!!!! From the time we Entered the Restaurant til the Friendly Anniversary Well Wishes. Our Waiter was David. He was Very Kind, Professional, Attentive, Concerned, Friendly and Thoughtful! We Never had to ask for anything because he was consistently checking in on Us to see if we Wanted or Needed Anything. Here is where He Went Above and Beyond for Me as a Customer. We asked for To-go Containers (4). When he came to bring them, he had his serving try, the containers and bags. He offered to put Our Food in the containers! I was So Impressed with that because out of my almost 57yrs of eating out, No One has EVER done that! I asked him if he could get a Manager for me, he simply said "Yes Ma'am". Now I'm more than sure he thought something was wrong....but it wasn't. The Manager, John came to our table asking was everything ok. I said to him, "Everything was Perfect. David was Absolutely Remarkable in serving us this evening"! May I also acknowledge two other employees of the restaurant. Unfortunately, I didn't get their names, but it's really the little things that I pay attention to when I'm out for a meal! We were sitting there and the young lady (waitress) passed by us, back stepped and asked if someone had served us yet (David had already taken care of our drink order and appetizer). The fact that she just acknowledged us just sitting there, not knowing, but yet concerned if someone had served us.... Pretty Amazing Young Lady (that really Mattered). The next person I would like to acknowledge is a young man (a different waiter, not assigned to us), passed by and saw My Husband Struggling to get a picture of us. He stopped and offered to take the picture for us! How Thoughtful and Considerate is that!!! Friendliness and Kindness goes a long way to me these days. We live in a very busy world and I've never worked in the environment of being a Host or Hostess (I don't think I have the Personality for it). However, I do Respect the Hustle of it All and I Pay Attention to those who Pay Attention to Me! Dinner at Saltgrass this evening Was The Best Experience I've Ever Had in a Restaurant....EVER! John, your staff that we encountered this evening, Deserve a Standing Ovation (a Raise, a Day Off, a Longer Break, a Gift Card .. something to let them know that Today (on My Anniversary) They Are Appreciated.....And the Food was Great Too (Fried and Grilled Shrimp, Fried Mushrooms, Broccoli with Cheese, Salad and My Husband ordered an Alcoholic Beverage)! Thanks Again David, You Are an Awesome Young Man and We Really Appreciated Your Service This Evening!?“
“Everything I've tried on the menu has been fantastic! From the gumbo, TAC, club sandwich, roast beef dip, prime rib, shrimp... I could go on. It's all delicious! The bar in the back means it's sometimes a little loud depending on where you are sitting. Service is good.“
“Cajun shack is my go-to, always, for a lot of food but especially the crawfish. I get Cajun dust, garlic butter, and lemon pepper altogether and extra spicy and it’s a 10/10 every time! Anahi and Beatriz always take such great care of us <3“
“They were very family friendly. The staff put a kid's show on one of the TVs just for my sons. They were very honest and had great recommendations from the menu. Fried pickles are sour and come with a generous portion! I also loved the fried caughliflower. Husband liked the crawfish, kids loved the grilled shrimp and spaghetti. I don't eat meat, so I tried the red beans and rice, sausage on the side, but there was bacon cooked throughout. I didn't like that, but others may love it! When I gave my food to my husband and asked the server for something without meat, she told the owner who ended up making me an off menu, personal tofu meal, which was amazing! Going that far to satisfy a customer is astounding. I was and still am so grateful. They should consider putting that on the menu; I've gotten similar dishes from Chinese restaurants that weren't nearly as good as theirs!“
“My husband and I love Miru, we come a lot and really enjoy all the food from the appetizers and drinks all the way to the desserts. We love to bring our out of town friends as well as the locals that have never been here and we have had no complaints from anyone. A lovely & welcome addition to this area…they never disappoint! Make sure you ask for Natalie as your server, she is amazing.Come try for yourselves!Dietary restrictions: My sister is Celiac and the options were great for her!“
