“The Boudin Balls were some of the best I have had. Not too spicy and quite flavorful-reminded me of some I got in New Orleans many years ago. The Catfish Po-Boy was very good, but the bread was a touch dry for my taste (might have been an off day). I tried both the house and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were about average, but the house fries were awesome. Nice crisp and seasoning to them. In fact, out of my entire meal, the house fries made the biggest impression. Server was attentive and we received our meal quite quickly.

“Great family owned restaurant with super cheap prices for seafood and surprisingly the best little off the wall seafood I've ever had! Not just the food was amazing though. The lady and man whom own it are some of the friendliest people I have been blessed to have met. They are rooted in faith and proudly display that when you walk in the door from the sign above the cash register area to her tshirt that said "jesus loves you" I just adored her thru and thru
Amazing place I will definitely eat here everytime I come this way.
The only small downside is I would not prob ever dine in as the summer time sun is set right on the place in the afternoon and the restaurant has nothing but glass windows in the entrance area so it was very hot in there but nothing they can really do to help this other than stop global warming.??‍♀️?“

Most of the servers here are not attentive and take forever but there is one server who will always get you hyped and be quick and is super attentive. “The menu is quite large with so much variety. Their house salad dressing is really delicious and if you choose the pasta Alfredo as your side you won’t believe how big the portion is. My husband got the stuffed red fish and for the first time ever couldn’t eat it all. I recommend sharing an entree so you can save room for dessert which I hear the bread pudding is delicious. I just didn’t have room“

Upon entering, i looks like they've just started their business from the tables & chairs, to the counter....something is just out of place. Then, you order and your food comes out in a timely fashion with a great smile by the wait staff. And, you're digging into your food because of the great smell. The interior is not much to look at but whomever is cooking in the back knows exactly what you want and how to deliver!!“

“Shrimp and oysters were severely under cooked, almost raw. We have been going to this restaurant for years and it was always great but will not go back! We told the cashier and she was not receptive, just took our money. There didn't seem to be a manager or owner available for us to talk to. We will not be back and will certainly spread this news!“

“Hidden gem!! We dined-in during our trip over Memorial Day 2021 and we were surprised with how delicious the food was. The salsa that came with the chips & salsa was super flavorful but not overly spicy. Their crab balls are Amazeballs!! You HAVE to order them! So yummy! Best I’ve had anywhere. The Cajun seafood pasta is delicious and is served in a massive portion that can easily be split between 2 people. Generous serving with lots of shrimp, sausage, and chicken. The fried pickles were fantastic. Sharp dills, great thickness, light batter. I ordered a side of red beans & rice as my main dish and it has a great texture and a hint of tart vinegar...would be best paired with cornbread or the amazing crab balls. I had a regular margarita on the rocks. It was ok. It was the most mediocre thing we ordered...so you KNOW the food is good. The music is great. We were here on Saturday from 8:30-10pm and the playlist was a great mix of Motown jams. 10/10 would recommend The Fish Place. We Absolutely recommend dining at this hidden gem!“

“Oysters had too much cheese. NY strip was good. Sides potatoes and spinach were rich and plentiful. Way too loud in the dining room. Suggest just eating at one of the side bars. Parking is confusing without needed signage. Cocktails were good but a bit weak.

“The food was decent and the view was ver nice. The whole Kemah Boardwalk area is beautiful and fun for the whole family. A must visit if you are in the area. This restaurant in particular has a nice decor with lots of fish tanks to keep the kids entertained. I ordered the sampler (see picture) and the calamari and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. I would recommend it, specially if you are with your family.“
