“Dined tonight with a group of nine to celebrate my wife's birthday. They installed a new WiFi system this week, so I had to drive to the restaurant to make my reservation since the phones were down Tuesday night and Wednesday midday. No big deal since they serve my wife's favorite steak in Texas, the filet mornay caprese and I was not willing to chance not getting a reservation. As usual the meal was fantastic, we had the spinach artichoke dip to start with the best chips. Main courses were the filet, pork Marsala, and the beef and blue ribeye. I'm not a blue cheese fan, but I subbed Boursin cheese on top.Only hiccup was at the end. The waitress asked if I wanted it all on one check and I confirmed. However, we were never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee (we did) before being presented with the check. This had never happened in any of my many visits and was a poor way to end a wonderful night and celebration for my wife.“
“My family wanted crawfish so we decided to try somewhere local instead of our usual spot. My wife and I ordered the crawfish special which includes three pounds crawfish, 2 potatoes, 2 corns, and 2 eggs. We also added a pound of shrimp and it came out to be around 40ish bucks. Not too bad. Before we completed our order, our waitress mentioned that it was the price for frozen crawfish and the live crawfish was going to be $15/pound which is totally overpriced! We decided to opt out of the live crawfish and imo it wasn’t worth it.After we had our meal, I tried to use my Bay Area Food Lovers card that allows me to get 10% off for up to four guest (we had a party of 7, but we only ordered 4 specials), but I was told that I could only use it for myself and I could not include the three other orders.Overall, the crawfish size was small and the flavor was decent, so maybe we will try it again later in the season.“
“Crawfish season is here and I'm ready!!! After a rainy day which ran into the evening, we decided to venture over to TX Crawfish & Seafood Restaurant. Our service was very attentive and we always appreciate good conversation. As we were scanning the menu, he made his recommendation on food items which is a plus especially for us being first timers. Of course, I opted for 3 lbs of crawfish with all the seasonings and top level spiciness. My husband was feeling a little bold, so he chose the Spicy Fried Rice with Sausage and a bowl of the Beans and Sausage.Overall, everything was delicious! In fact, I took home enough crawfish to settle my craving until next time. As for the other food items, my husband mentioned that the Spicy Fried with Sausage could use some spicy heat. As that's what any should expect. And the Beans and Sausage was not as seasoned perhaps missing the balance of sea salt.No worries because we'll be back!“
“Update: just celebrated my 65 birthday. Lobster! This is my most favorite seafood restaurant. Everything is 100%. There's not a bad item on the menu! Today we kept it simple with a Greek salad and their seafood soup, which is awesome! Been coming here since a place was built. Tonight it was brother and sister night!“
“You can just go ahead and ignore any reviews that aren't 5 stars, made by people that frequent ChickFilA. If you want real home cooked flavourful food, stop by. Worth the price and the wait. The building could use an upgrade, but if you want an authentic NOLA feel, I guess it fits. Easily 10/10“
“Food is usually good. This time not so good. Got sausage plate. Rice and sauce were cold. Seems like it sat out most of morning. If this was my first time here I wouldn't recommend it. I still think I'd give it another try someday.“
“Magnolia Cajun Comfort consistently provides a top notch dining experience in every way. The food is superb and the service is stellar. All at a very reasonable price point. We've eaten here a number of times and always leave happy. Everything we've tried on the menu is excellent but be sure to ask about Chef Steve's specials which are out of this world. And save room for dessert (highly recommend the bread pudding) for the perfect ending to a memorable meal.“
“I reserved the Emmitte Room to host a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents. I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. Brandice was the lead server the evening of the party and she was the ultimate professional and added so much value to an already amazing evening! Thank you to Doug, Brandice and the rest of the team for helping me to pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without you all. (The room was stunning and the food was out of this world!)“
“Pook’s Crawfish Hole was everything I expected and more. The crawfish had a great flavor and the menu was great, even providing options for kids who do not eat seafood. My husband had the Pook’s platter so he was able to get a mix of boiled crawfish, shrimp, and crab. Our waitress, Shelbi, was amazing and she was very helpful. I can’t wait to go back for more crawfish!“
“I like this place, it’s right down the street from my business and I love coming here for a quick lunch. I also love the fact that the owner always preps food for a few homeless people so they come around at a certain time. One day I was going to buy food for 1 and he told me not to worry that he got it that he feeds them every day. Great businessman because he knows if you do good you will receive good ??“
“Good draft beer selection and attentive bartenders. Food selection is good and more interesting than the typical sports bar of this style. Food quality was more on par with typical sports bar and didn't quite live up to the bistreaux expectations.“
“I have been going to this place for quite a while now and realized I’ve never left a review.Mollie, Destiny, Jake, Blake, and Cory are such a pleasure when they are bartending. The food is really good and they introduced me to crawfish (at the time was 5.99 a pound until 6pm).I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven’t already.“
“A piece of Houston/Cajun-viet inspired heaven located in Southbelt. The house flavor is overall very consistent, which adds major points to their reputation. The chances of interacting with friendly cashiers are slim, maybe just adds character. Occasionally you will hear a commercial on their music streaming service, that is- if you don’t inhale the food in before a commercial plays.“
“Food was good better than expected I tried the other locations but this one has better service that most other locations, the ambiance of the place was like big time restaurant on valentines days busy ! So I take it as a good sign , I don't mind driving here from the nrg area when they food is great ! FYI anything they put on the grill with Cajun rice is a mussssttt“
“I recently had the pleasure of trying the lemon pepper wings and and I must say, they were absolutely fantastic. The flavor was spot on - the perfect balance of tangy lemon and savory pepper. The wings were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I couldn't get enough of them! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to make great recommendations.Overall, my experience at this restaurant was totally enjoyable. The combination of incredible lemon pepper wings and excellent service made for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious offerings. If you're a fan of wings, this place is a must-try!“
“Excellent boudin balls! You can buy them fresh & ready to eat or frozen to take home. The boudin is very meaty with great rice. Can be bought fresh, cold vacuum packed or frozen. The store has a great selection of Louisiana food items. This is truly a market!“
“Y’all don’t fail this place! It’s delicious, the service is great and they’re not pushy with the free samples they hand out. Food is fresh and the poke bowls taste like shaggy dog sushi. For $10? That’s an amazing deal for what you get! Highly recommend 5 ⭐️“
“Cajun shack is my go-to, always, for a lot of food but especially the crawfish. I get Cajun dust, garlic butter, and lemon pepper altogether and extra spicy and it’s a 10/10 every time! Anahi and Beatriz always take such great care of us <3“
“Awesome garlic noodles are totally awesome! I order mine without jalapenos because I feel they overpower the dish.&This is the only place I'll order wings from, spicy garlic wings, they are amazing.&The magic Cajun Rice is truly magical. I've tried it with chicken, shrimp, crawfish and they are all wonderful in this dish.“
“The food is Okay its not terrible but it's not the best that I have had. One dish the fried green tomatoes was excellent but they took this off their menu. I tried the barbecue shrimp and it tasted more like a Gumbo Rue than Barbecue. Really didn't like it.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining in at Krispy Krunchy, and it was an absolute delight. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're a fried chicken enthusiast, Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a go to place. I'll definitely be returning here for another round.“
“Good place. Had platter crab shrimp gumbo good fried shrimp good, French fries good, fried catfish breading did not stay on fell off as you tried to eat.. They had 1 person trying to take care of 5 tables and 4 bar patrons slow response. Seafood nachos were good. Mens bathroom needs to be serviced regularly as you opened door you could smell the odor.“
“Food was awesome order two seafood platters and tfc platter all was delicious place was clean waitress Lexi was awesome beignets were delicious only complaint we couldn’t watch the Astro’s game shrimp and crawfish were cooked perfect the boiled eggs were delicious bathrooms were clean“
“So, let me tell you about Floyd's Seafood in Webster. It's like stepping into a cozy seafood paradise right in the middle of town. Picture this: you walk in, and the place has this cool maritime vibe with comfy seats and friendly faces all around. It's the kind of spot where you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh man, where do I start? They've got everything from fresh oysters to mouthwatering shrimp dishes, and don't even get me started on their Gulf Coast Platter—it's like a seafood lover's dream come true. Each bite is bursting with flavor, and you can tell they use top-notch ingredients. And the drinks? Let me just say, they've got some killer cocktails. But what really sets Floyd's apart is the service. The staff are super friendly and know their stuff! If you're looking for a place to indulge in some seriously good seafood, Floyd's Seafood is great option.“

“I don't know if the same owners of the place are still there, oh no, but they no longer have the same seasoning as they did before. Now it's very simple. The price is good, but the way of preparing it is no longer the same. What's happening???“
“I was really craving crunchy fried chicken but wasn’t expecting to find any at the food court. Only this place outta all of the stalls had what resembled it, so I gave it a try and OMG ? their “Cajun fried chicken” it was amazing! ? So crunchy and flavorful with the dry Chili’s to nibble with every bite! So glad I tried it! ?“
“Came in for the first time and Richard was our server. He was very attentive and nice. I got the shrimp fettuccine, and my boyfriend got the blackened catfish. The food came out and it was perfect, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. Will definitely be returning!!“

You automatically get a bib and gloves for those that eat crawfish or crab legs, all the butter and lemons free no additional charge like some of the other places and the service is great. Also the cheapest I have came across ♥️♥️♥️ Dine in is preferably“
“This is my family’s go-to spot during crawfish season. Jolie was the best server we’ve ever had, and it was her first day on the floor! GO JOLIE!! She was so personable and attentive. Crawfish were good as always, the Tex-Orleans way and my fav beer (Abita Strawberry) was in stock! We sat outside bc it was a beautiful day and the inside ALWAYS smells of old mop water “
“My family first time being here. Everything was great. Crawfish and crab clusters were delicious great flavor. Shrimp was overcooked. Calamari was ok. No flavor in the batter. Same with my daughters chicken tenders ,no flavor. All in all we have a awesome waiter named Kevin. He was very attentive and professional and deserves a raise. We will be returning! Recommend for everyone to try at least once!!“
“J. T. and his crew are the BEST. If I owned a restaurant, I would hire him as my manager. He can do any job, cook, bartend, wait tables and always does it with a smile. Jade is very friendly and professional and Blanca can cook some great waffles. This is a weekly stop for my family. Food is always fresh and great. Worth a visit.“
