“This pizza is the BEST PIZZA I have had in a LONG TIME!! Way better than ANY of the other places to get pizza here in Alvin. We’ve lived here for a couple of years now and my biggest regret is not trying this place sooner! I honestly thought I didn’t like pizza anymore... Turns out I LOVE PIZZA I just didn’t like the trash pizza I’ve been eating lately. I want to go back and try other things on their menu! I’m so happy we finally tried this place 😊 we also met the owner who was really friendly and nice to us. Overall great experience and I highly recommend!“

“My very first time coming here. Me nd my wife hve never been. We came Wednesday April 29,2026 at 3:30 pm. I explained to the man at the front we had never been here, he took the time nd effort to show us what's good. Gave my wife some samples of the sauce so she coukd test it.

The food ws delicious. 10/10.

But the service was even better. The employee checked on us repeatedly and made sure we liked it. He ws awesome.

“We’ve gotten live crawfish in 15 pound batches from these fine folks twice and twice good size and relatively clean. Delicious! Love this place. So much closer than Boyd’s! Please try them. Every day but Monday 11 am - 8 pm!! Nice folks, just like my home state of Louisiana! 🦞“

“Had an amazing experience at Retreats New Orleans Style Daiquiris & Eats in League City! The food was absolutely delicious. The catfish and fries were perfectly cooked, and the shrimp and crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic Louisiana taste. The daiquiris were smooth, refreshing, and definitely on point! 🍹

The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The music was great too—it set the perfect vibe and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for delicious New Orleans-style food, amazing daiquiris, great music, and excellent customer service, this is definitely the place to visit. We will absolutely be back!“

“This is great if you want (what I call) Texas Cajun and not Louisiana Cajun. Their chicken fried steak and parmesan crusted chicken are both fabulous! The bisque is also amazing. My husband, who is from Louisiana, detests their crawfish. He says the Gumbo (which has a super dark rue) and the etouffee are ok but not his favorite. Overall, it seems like the fried and creamy sauced things are usually great. Also, we really like they usually have 80-90s music playing.

Updating (July 2026) to say that this place is hit or miss. When it's good, its great. However, more often than not, it's not as good as it used to be.“

“I came in with my sister and her husband and we had such an incredible time, the food was perfect, the prices were reasonably good, but the service was even better. Adan was our server today and he was very attentive, friendly, and might I add handsome! He is by far the best server that we have ever had!“

“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

“We went to BB.s Webster Father’s Day. There was a wait but not to long. We had a party of 8 and were set in a young man’s section I don’t remember his name but he was nice. Our food was very good! But, the manager that was there her name was Tammy was amazing. It was busy she saw that we were needing a few things came right over and took care of us and everyone around us the rest of the evening. She Is Very Impressive to watch! We love the crawfish and now the service we will return and do recommend!“

“I was really craving crunchy fried chicken but wasn’t expecting to find any at the food court. Only this place outta all of the stalls had what resembled it, so I gave it a try and OMG ? their “Cajun fried chicken” it was amazing! ? So crunchy and flavorful with the dry Chili’s to nibble with every bite! So glad I tried it! ?“

“Swamp Shack has delicious seafood. The oysters are excellent, and red fish is tasty. Even the veggies are seasoned just right. Our food server was attentive and friendly. The only request I have is to please repair the tear in the seat, as it is a health Hazzard and infection risk.
Overall, this is a place we come to to fulfill that seafood craving.“
