“Came here on a random day. This place was recommended by a relative. I was quite skeptical as I don’t go to eat seafood around this area.I got the boiled shrimp with the in house flavor. It was really delicious. REALLY loved the way how they cut the shrimp to the way it is easy to peel.We also got their boiled egg, potato, sausage, and corn. Really really good!!Their service was good too, as it was our first time the young ladies were really nice and patient about ordering.Price point. “Since the pandemic, I've noticed the changes in taste with food at certain restaurants. Razzo's Cajun Cafe has always been one of my favorite spots whether I'm in the Dallas Ft Worth area or Houston. Some things have changed with Razzo's such the Worm Burner didn't have the classic Gummie Worms and it wasn't as strong of a drink as I remembered. The Rat Toes is a staple for every time I visit any location, but the flavors were not coming through. It just appeared that the recipe has changed.Now, my husband is from Louisiana and he mentioned that the flavors were not deeply seasoned and robust like Louisiana Cajun style food but was good nonetheless.In the meantime, we'll keep visiting various locations and see if they live up to the memories of great Cajun food to the NINE!“
“Been coming here for years. Their food is really delicious especially their Buffalo Chicken Fries.Each appetizer taste good as well! We love getting our Fried MacNCheese and Fried Pickles.Only downside is their service, some servers are rude, don’t check on you, take a while to tend you but there are a couple that are really attentive.“
“Called in a order for lunch and was meet with a friendly loving voice. Gumbo mama herself took my order and she was so helpful and customer service was excellent. Now, I order the medium Gumbo and a piece of fried fish. The fried fish didn't even make it back to work. Crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. Baby that GUMBO was soooooo good. Filled with chicken and shrimp and sausage. Also came with a crab leg too! Really did taste like my grandmothers gumbo. Just because it's on the inside of a gas station don't look past it. “They have always had the best live crawfish in my vicinity, always serviced with a smile and a friendly professional attitude, I usually have to purge them once, maybe twice if they need it, but I have only been disappointed one time, that was when I received a batch of them and almost half of them were dead. On my next purchase they hand picked them, and only 3 of them were no good by the time I got done cooking them, they aim to please their customers, and I definitely recommend them to anyone who loves good quality crawfish “

My man ordered the sampler platter which comes with fried catfish, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, fried crawfish, and French fries. Absolutely delicious!“
“Came here today for the first time. I got the 9 shrimp and one fish combo which comes with fries and a side salad. I substituted the side salad for extra fries. Here's my thoughts:Pros:-Friendly staff-Food was fresh and piping hot-The shrimp and fish pieces were big and fried to perfection!-The fries were crunchy and well seasoned-Prices were very reasonable-Close to TSUCons:-Looks to be Asian-owned (not Black-owned though this restaurant is right in the heart of Houston's blackest community, 3rd ward)-The batter on the fish slides off; the binder they used (not sure if it's mustard or egg) didn't seem to hold the batter together well (see my pic)- Tarter sauce come in a packet, it's not house-madeOverall, I wouldn't mind coming back for the shrimp again but not the fish. I believe they do have okra in the gumbo i can’t see it cuz they cook it down so well but I can taste the difference because I’m one that does not prefer okra but it is still really delicious.“
“We stopped by to grab lunch on our way to Hobby airport. We told the hostess that we were short on time, they had no problem with this. Sat us down and our waiter Chris came over expressed to us he knew we were on our way to the airport and would get our order in and out quickly as he could. We had already saw the menu while in the car on our way to the place so we had an idea what to order and order fast. It was 4 of us my husband, and two sons. We ordered 2 dozen oysters, the dos platter fish and shrimp, and sweet chili wings and boudin egg rolls, and 4 Dos XX’s. We enjoyed everything!! I tell u what the outside of the establishment and area is not appealing to the eyes, but the inside was nice and cozy, great staff and food make up for it. We will definitely be going back again when in the area! Didn’t take any pic of the food due to our time limit, we were in a hurry that we wouldn’t miss our flight. Our waiter Chris even brought us to go drinks. Our bill came out to a little over $100 for a family of 4, we were quite surprised because of the amount of food that we were served.“

“Omg! This place has really good food. Our party of 15 tried out a lot of their food and EVERYONE raved about their dish. I had shrimp and grits. I'm really picky about that dish. Grits we're cooked right, creamy and I wanted more. Shrimp cooked perfection. They have a great chef. Price very reasonable $10-20 at lunch time. Our waitress was great considering we came without warning but she handled us and our separate checks perfectly. This will become a favorite.“
“Went here for a quick lunch decided last minute that I want this. It's right next to Chick-fil-A, not from this area but it was quick and easy the wait times is not bad. Order my food online I ordered the 2 chicken tender and 3 shrimp, got in the car and tasted my food it was delicious tenders and shrimp were seasoned right and French fries was seasoned well also. Garlic bread was also very tasty and buttery. Would definitely come back here Tenders 9/10 Shrimp 8/10 French fries 8/10 Garlic bread 7/10“
