“I may be a bit picky with this review but its about fried food. Especially fish of any type. I like the first bite. The wow factor. Hot and the breading golden brown. When it comes down to the breadcrumb coating. I look for that to be with no exceptions wonderfully seasoned. Many combinations work. But if with no matter the mix of spices falls slightly below the WOW factor then the dish is just there because you bought it and stuck. The place has great service. But in fried seafood it's understood to get repeat business it has be super delicious. I'm mean what made fried chicken famous, take a guess.“

“We went to BB.s Webster Father’s Day. There was a wait but not to long. We had a party of 8 and were set in a young man’s section I don’t remember his name but he was nice. Our food was very good! But, the manager that was there her name was Tammy was amazing. It was busy she saw that we were needing a few things came right over and took care of us and everyone around us the rest of the evening. She Is Very Impressive to watch! We love the crawfish and now the service we will return and do recommend!“

“I was really craving crunchy fried chicken but wasn’t expecting to find any at the food court. Only this place outta all of the stalls had what resembled it, so I gave it a try and OMG ? their “Cajun fried chicken” it was amazing! ? So crunchy and flavorful with the dry Chili’s to nibble with every bite! So glad I tried it! ?“

“I love going to this restaurant when i’m on a budget for seafood boil. You get what you pay for a more. I love their Eazy to Peel shrimp combo along with their fries. The customer service was great as well. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because the potatoes from the boil could be a hit or miss. Sometimes, it has a metallic taste but most of the times it doesn’t. Overall, great restaurant when you’re on a budget for seafood boil.“

“We ordered the fried fish, fried shrimp, chicken tenders, crawfish Étouffée, boudin balls, gumbo. All very good the fried food was so good cooked very well, Crab and the garlic butter don’t forget the boiled eggs.. SO GOOD will definitely be back“

“Me and my boyfriend eat here quite often, never had a complaint till yesterday I asked my waiter if he could move the trash can away from our table cuz I could smell it and he did, then this other boy with a very bad attitude came and put it right back beside our table so my boyfriend got up and moved it his self the boy seen my boyfriend move it and came back over there with a bad attitude looking at us crazy and brought the trash can back up close to the table again so we decided to pay for our meal and leave....“

“This is great if you want (what I call) Texas Cajun and not Louisiana Cajun. Their chicken fried steak and parmesan crusted chicken are both fabulous! The bisque is also amazing. My husband, who is from Louisiana, detests their crawfish. He says the Gumbo (which has a super dark rue) and the etouffee are ok but not his favorite. Overall, it seems like the fried and creamy sauced things are usually great. Also, we really like they usually have 80-90s music playing.

Updating (July 2026) to say that this place is hit or miss. When it's good, its great. However, more often than not, it's not as good as it used to be.“

“Had an amazing experience at Retreats New Orleans Style Daiquiris & Eats in League City! The food was absolutely delicious. The catfish and fries were perfectly cooked, and the shrimp and crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic Louisiana taste. The daiquiris were smooth, refreshing, and definitely on point! 🍹

The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The music was great too—it set the perfect vibe and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

“What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! The chef deserves to be recognized!!“

“Delightful New Orleans style brunch with chandeliers and choice of buffet or menu. I’ve had the buffet both times I’ve been here, nice variety of choices including crab and peel and eat shrimp. Don’t miss the banana foster French toast made on demand, or the carving table prime rib. Looks like an expensive bougie place but even the buffet is only $40 and the menu items very reasonable.

The manager, Doug, was amazing at accommodating our big group on little notice, even when we had additional people join our table. No fuss, just made sure everyone felt welcome. Our waiter Chris prepared a special treat for a birthday boy with us. And overall just made sure everybody was taken care of and had a good time.

“We can go anywhere we want for a great time. The Rusty Hook will not disappoint, ever. I love the buffet, especially at lunch. The menu is fantastic, the crawlfish are amazing. “Swamp Shack has delicious seafood. The oysters are excellent, and red fish is tasty. Even the veggies are seasoned just right. Our food server was attentive and friendly. The only request I have is to please repair the tear in the seat, as it is a health Hazzard and infection risk.
Overall, this is a place we come to to fulfill that seafood craving.“

“We went to Tangers and after shopping, were searching for Halal food nearby and surprisingly found this.
The service is too good the guy at the counter was very receptive, took our order carefully, guided us sincerely and served us promptly.
We ordered crunchy box meal, boneless sweet and sour wings and chicken tenders.
The food was served hot and the chicken was juicy, crispy and flavorful.
There is nice outdoor seating and ample indoor seating too

“So Glad I took a chance. I am always on the hunt for good BBQ. I ordered the brisket and gosh darn it was off the charts. Moist and flavor for days! The sauce is second to none. I was also pleasantly surprised by the sides as well. The Mac n cheez and green beans were delicious. The jalepeno sausage was outstanding as well.
