“17-APR-2024This is a Crawfish review. The crawfish were good, got the medium spice and was spicy enough.Cooked well, not mushy.Boil mix was salty like using a lot of Tony Chachere's, no minced garlic.Medium sized. Not fishy. No straight tails.Today was a $10/ 2lbs special.Corn was good, potatoes hard.Parking: Lots of shared parking.“
“I visited Houston for spring break and decided to try Lotus Seafood. We ordered barbecue and lemon pepper wings, they were 10 out 10. The shrimp fried rice was good. I give it a 8 out of 10 only because the shrimp was the size of dimes, but other than that it was very well flavored! Overall I give them a 8.5 based on the cold fries, tables not being clean and the atmosphere not being inviting.“
“Whole fried fish cooked too hard. Person with me ordered fish fried hard. I didn't I request regular...definitelynothard fried. Both were fried hard. Coleslaw delicious...sweet taste to it. Waitress, upbeat and gave us good service with a smile.“
“This was our first time coming to crawfish cafe and it was so good! When we arrived, there was a short line and we waited about 5 minutes before being seated. We had the crawfish, garlic noodles, queso and cracklins and fried shrimp and catfish plate. Everything was good and the crawfish was 10/10. I got the kickin Cajun flavor with “spicy” spice level which was really spicy but GOOD! Jennifer was our waiter and she was very welcoming and friendly. She met all of our needs even while training another staff member! Our experience here was excellent and we will return!“
“This is clearly a hidden gem in Houston if you're a fan of skewers. I highly recommend this place.Be warned, because everything is so good and the portions are small it's very easy to keep ordering and racking up a bill. This isn't a bad thing, but just be aware.“
“Second time eating here and boy will I be back! I got the duo special witch was 1/2 lb of snow crab and 1/2 lb of shrimp. I got it spicy and with the 7 spice sauce!! That special was 25.99. It came with 3 potatoes and 1 corn. I added a sausage which was delicious! The boudin balls were very delicious!! We also tried the etouffee with shrimp and crawfish. That was good but not as tasty as the boiled food! We will definitely be back to try the crawfish and other dishes.“
“Six good friends enjoyed dinner last night and all gave it rave reviews. We arrived at 5:30 and left around 8:15 and we were all pleasantly surprised at the noise level, which we anticipated would be high, but was not bad at all. Our server was terrific, the food delicious, and the decor just lovely... will be back!“
“I never knew we had an authentic New Orleans po-boy place in Missouri City. I can finally get my Hot Sausage poboy and Pineapple Big Shot fix on a regular basis?. I got a chance to try Mr. Pat's food for the 1st time on Monday night and he did not disappoint. My husband and I are originally from Louisiana, so it's always special whenever we can find a restaurant that reminds us of home. The food is made fresh to order. Mr. Pat is the cook, the cashier, waiter, owner, etc. He shows great hospitality to all of his customers and makes sure that everyone leaves satisfied.“
“Crawfish and Noodle Restaurant holds a special place in my heart as one of my absolute favorite spots for crawfish in town. With a track record of consistently outstanding experiences spanning over a decade since its opening, this restaurant has truly captured my loyalty. One of the standout features of Crawfish and Noodle is its unwavering commitment to excellence. The sauce, a vital component of any crawfish dish, remains a pinnacle of flavor and consistency with each visit. Moreover, the service provided is nothing short of brilliant. The staff's attention to detail ensures that every patron's needs are met with precision and care.My personal favorites on the menu include the crawfish drenched in their special sauce and the tantalizing blue crab served in Cajun sauce or as a salt and pepper fried dish. The freshness of the seafood is unparalleled, making each bite an irresistible delight that keeps me coming back time and time again. But the culinary excellence doesn't stop there. The restaurant's roasted oysters are consistently on point, and their unique fur dishes offer a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Additionally, the seafood salad, particularly the shrimp salad with Lotus roots, is an absolute must-try. And let's not forget the basil fried rice, a delectable side dish that perfectly complements any meal.In summary, Crawfish and Noodle Restaurant is a culinary gem that never fails to impress. With its consistently amazing food, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere, it has rightfully earned its place as one of the best crawfish restaurants in town. Whether you're a seasoned seafood enthusiast or just looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant is sure to leave you craving more.“
“I dined at The Rouxpour whilst visiting family in Sugarland I’m from the UK so this was my first introduction to New Orleans inspired cuisine. I was certainly impressed. We all enjoyed our food. Every last plate was delicious. We had the blackened shrimp, lamb lollipops and the gumbo as appetisers. Absolutely delicious. Most of us got the steak with crabmeat, shrimp, potatoes and veggies. Staff denied our request to join two tables together to accommodate us so we squeezed into a booth but our waiter Jordan apologised on behalf of his colleagues and took the table size into consideration and made sure the food came out at just the right time and could fit on the table. Jordan was also incredibly polite, funny and generally of great character. The food was great but he really enhanced the experience. I will certainly be returning upon my next visit to the area. Thank you Jordan !“
“OooooooooMmmmmmmGggggggg!!!! Yasssssssssss!!! Just go! Make the drive. This is the best restaurant boil I've had. There wasn't a wait, service was quick and food came out fast!Large Platter with headless shrimp instead of the whole shrimp that it comes with. You basically get a pound of mussels, shrimp, crawfish, snow crab, clams, corn, potatoes, eggs and sausage. $75I ordered King Crab. $59.99 for 1 lb.Weekend Special $47 for 1 lobster tail, 1/2 shrimp and 1 lb snow crabSeasoning House Mix (Mild) still has a slight kick but very manageable. They have a full bar, screens and plenty of seating. Sophia was our waitress and she was amazing! I can't wait to go back!“
“Went at lunch. Busy but not crowded and not noisy. Excellent food. Tried the redfish, crayfish bisque, shrimp pasta, bread pudding, sopapillas, jambalaya and chicken fried chicken. Also the alligator appetizer. Everything was very good. Prices reasonable compared to amount of food. Excellent service.“
“It is a magnificent restaurantParking: They have free parking in the surrounding area and if the parking lot is full you can leave it at Home Depot and the walk to the restaurant is not long and it helps a little to walkWheelchair accessibility: It has good access for people with disabilities“
“This is my 8th 7 spice restaurant location I have visited. And I must say top notch like the rest Except the 288 & McHard location. This location, Westhiemer, has a gentleman named Johan was one of the best. These are a chain going places IF they can keep it the same like Pearland Prkwy and Westhiemer locations. Thank you for an awesome lunch.“
“I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a very long time, and when I finally got to go it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The food was so good and they had so many different options than your would typically see on a menu. The drink selection was also really good. The service was great, super fast and our food came out HOT! Also as a first time diner, desert was on the house! Can’t beat that. Such a memorable experience!!!“
“We had a wonderful meal, thanks to help from our server Adam. Dad was in town visiting and requested seafood… he got the seafood combo blackened and I got the pasta liberty blackened and a side Caesar salad, we shared sautéed oysters as an appetizer… yum! The portions are large and I took more than half of the pasta home for later!Adam helped answer our questions and provided suggestions that made our experience even better. We will absolutely be returning, Bayou City is a new favorite for us!Parking: Plenty of free parking in the huge lot of the building!“
“So this is my 9th location I've eaten at,HWY 288,Westhiemer, Pearland Pkwy,Texas Prkwy, I10, forgot the others and I must say.....VERY GOOD. This establishment is going in the right direction. The EZ peel shrimp is next to the best. I can't say it anymore, but please wear the gloves they have there. I get the garlic butter spice extra spicy.....so I need those gloves, and so will you. The crawfish is just as good. MUST go eat at 7 Spice.“
“Wife and I made a 1 pm reservation in case this location was busy. Upon arriving there was no line and was seated immediately. Our waiter was Tyler who was very very nice and professional. We ordered drinks promptly along with an appetizer of cheese bits. Cheese bites arrived hot and they were delicious. For the main course wife ordered Redfish Pontchatrain I believe it was called, I ordered the Blackened Catfish and the chicken/fried shrimp combo. Mains meals came out pretty fast and the presentation for everything looked amazing. Wife absolutely loved her meal. The Blackened catfish however for me was not so good. The red beans and rice had some weird tang to it that made it unbearable to eat. Blackened fish itself had a pretty good taste but honestly the fish was just absolutely drowned in so much butter it gave the fish an overpowering butter tast along with a slimy texture while eating it that made it horrible. The chicken and shrimp was very good. For desert I got the turtle caramel brownie with vanilla ice cream on top. I didn't get a pic of that but it was to die for. I definitely will come back but won't be getting the Blackened catfish again.“
“We have come here many times for crawfish, and it is ALWAYS delicious. We get the wild Cajun seasoning, my bf gets extra extra spicy, and I'm a medium girl. We love getting the potatoes and corn with it, we do miss the red potatoes, but we still enjoy what they serve now. Corn is always so juicy and flavorful! Crawfish are always good size during peak season time and delicious. The servers/owners are always polite and take good care of us. This is our only spot for crawfish! Will always keep coming back!“
“Nice place with a Louisiana cabin atmosphere to eat seafood, there are no waiters so you have to order and serve yourself. The crabfish are delicious although a little spicy if you're not used to chili, and the bucket is 3 pounds so it's more than enough for two people.“
“4/6/2024 First time trying this place after a recommendation from a colleague. The food was fresh and really good. Atmosphere I gave 3 ⭐️ only because it’s in a gas station. Let’s help get them into a stand alone building. The food did NOT disappoint. I’m going back to try the baked potato. Support local.Went back 4/7/2024 and got the Supa dupaPotato and fried fish. Another hit.“
“I love the welcome that I received when I woke in it was just absolutely the best I order the spicy rice with crawfishtails it was the bomb !! You have to check this place out, and their restrooms are remarkable/clean love it !! Coming back for that same experience..Thank you Lotus Seafood for making my experience very pleasant!!“
“Went here this past Sunday after church. It was late afternoon, so there was no wait, as we were the only ones there. The restaurant itself was cozy and decorated with gumbo motif! Our server, Conner, was able to recommend some great seafood options and was mindful to check in with us through out the meal. The food was good, we didn't get an appetizer but they give you chips and dip. One friend got chicken and sausage gumbo, one friend got a shrimp Poboy with fries and I got a shrimp Poboy with gumbo. We all enjoyed our meals! However, I have to strongly recommend trying the gumbo, because it was delicious and truly tasted like traditional Louisiana gumbo.“
“My mom was in town and wanted shrimp and crab. Know just the place and, like always, this place was amazing. I usually eat at the bar with friends, but since I was with my mom, we asked if we could sit on the patio since it was a nice day they got us a table ready asap. Ari, our waitress was amazing she was on top of her game the whole time.“
“I really enjoyed eating at Capt. Bennies on Main. The food and atmosphere was great. We had one of the best servers. Her name was Stephanie. She answered all of our questions about the menu. She kept our drinks filled and got our order in quickly. I can't say enough about getting excellent service from her. We will be back soon.“
“Great no frills Cajun seafood restaurant. I visited while in Texas with my parents and left thoroughly impressed. They told me Pappadeaux is not the same and Lafayette's is now their favorite Cajun restaurant. Dreaming of returning to Texas for more etouffee, gumbo, and boudain!“
“Great place for BREADED wings. Lots of flavors to chose from with various quantities. Or get em on a waffle. Or go for some bayou treats. Show up on Fridays for Zydeco music and more. Great atmosphere for after dinner drinks and a friendly owner that takes care of everything (even the guitar).Parking: Limited spacesKid-friendliness: Not so muchWheelchair accessibility: Yup“
“We adore this place and the people who work there (and own it, I believe). We are always treated so kindly, almost like family. We were served by Jose this time, I don’t remember him being there in past visits, but he was excellent. My daughter thought he was hilarious! My water nor my husbands tea ever went empty. There was a lady with refills that was ON IT. She also was so so so very nice. Our food can’t be left out either. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the soft shell crab, but the fried catfish my husband got instead was DELICIOUS, crispy, and so well seasoned. My fried crawfish poboy was HEAPING, and wonderful. The show stealer is the side of the crawfish sauce we use for dipping. If you stop in, make sure you get a side!“
“Glam Devine is dual restaurant .the food is so amazing my favorite meal is Grilled chicken and Jollof rice. I have tried many food items that is great .they give more than enough food to share with two or eat the other half of the food for later. And also the owner also cater food for my job party.try it also has wine dine, relax atmosphere. The owner is amazing super accommodating.you won’t be disappointed. I wish millions of Americans knew about this restaurant. The food is amazing and worth spending your money. Please try today you won’t regret it.Kid-friendliness: You have kids this restaurant is kid friendly“
“If you're hungry for crawfish and want to leave full and your mouth burning from the spices, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Absolutely AMAZING crawfish, great size and FABULOUS flavor! The staff was incredibly friendly, what a great way to spend our Easter Weekend! Will definitely come back!“
“Everytime I've visited, I'm treated like family. The food is always flavorful and savory. The staff is always friendly and kind.I even dropped my wallet like a big ole dummy, they called my brother and told us we dropped it. Not only good food, but very honest people.“
“We love LA crawfish in general, but had an especially great experience Saturday, thanks to a particular employee. We were tired and hungry but David was warm and welcoming to us and everyone who came in after, even though it was late. And our food and drinks were delicious as always!“
“What would Keith Lee say… “I don’t see why there isn’t a line out this door” everything from the service, food, and hospitality. My first time here was such a great experience and I know it won’t be my last. Gonna be my new go to spot for lunch when I stop in Houston. Shoutout to everyone for making my first experience such a great one!“
“The boiled crawfish and shrimp were very good. Just needed a bit more seasoning. Also the fried shrimp is very delicious. Along with the edamame. We also had sausage, corn and potatoes with the boil. The chicken wings were okay. Service was great.“
“Decided to try this place because it was the only seafood spot around that opened until 11pm instead of 10pm. So glad we did! We got snow crabs (pretty cheap compared to a lot of other places) & 1/2 lb gave me almost 2 clusters, which was enough for me. We got a whole lb and it was a lot! They’re not stingy at all! We also got shrimp fried rice that tastes soooo good with the Drip Sauce. Lastly, we had to get the turkey necks!!!!! They were a little more salty than I’d prefer. The music was def a vibe; we had our own TV in the booth for the game; & great customer service for sure.“
“My favorite seafood place in Houston — I wish you crawfish was better! But the items I listed cannot be compared! I literally love this place — don’t do too much tho lol I don’t want to be waiting too longgggFollow me @dessitravels on ig and TikTok for more reviews and recipes ❤️?✨“
“This location is the one I like to go to. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the food for the first time. I ordered shrimp & grits, blackened catfish with dirty rice and shrimp etoufee. I'm not sure if they have a new cook but the food wasn't seasoned. I never had that problem and the grits was stiff with barely any sauce on it. Maybe it was an off day.“
“I had a great experience with Creole Flava. Customer Service was great and the food was amazing! They catered our school for a group upwards of 80 people. We had plenty of enough food and everyone enjoyed the meal/atmosphere. A special thanks to Ms. Sheila for making the process seamless and helping us along the way. She was amazing!“
“Great stop for takeout. Small so not great for crowds if eating in. Very reasonably priced. Fast friendly. Order online because they cook it fresh and it may take a while.Parking: There are only 6 spaces and some are taken by a shoe repair shop.“
“My daughter and I love coming here for crawfish season as well as for their crab legs. The seafood is always tasty and the service is exceptional. I admire, Jay, the manager. His work ethic is above all others. Thank you Jay for all that you do at Mikes Seafood Hwy 6!“
“I've gone to the one down HWY plenty of times over the decade and was excited when they moved closer to the FBtoll but never got a chance until now. For a family of 5 this is perfect family pack to hit everyone's needs. Definitely will be my go to order, maybe more shrimp as those were my favorite. Battered on fish is fired hard but fish is still moist. I wish the skin wasn't so hard verses crispy I would rate 5 stars. What I did love as well is I order pick up and it was ready at the 17 min mark which is excellent!! On time food establishments always get my business unless the food is God awful but this is not. Greens beans not bad. Tarter also not bad. My garlic toast was too hard. It would need to soak in paste before you could consume it. Hush puppies are dense and just needs something to make it worth my buying. Like a jalapeño or corn or peppers in the batter would be excellent. All in all. I would return to grab more food.“
“It was our first visit here. The 4 of us, we started with an order butter scallops following with a combination plate including: 2 lbs snow Crab, 4 lbs crawfishes, 1 lb potatoes, 1 lb corns & 1lb sausages. The price and food is excellent ?. The service couldn't be better. We'll be back the next time when we go visiting Houston for sure?“
“We are really excited about supporting local businesses, so we wanted to share some helpful info with you. We noticed that the food at this place could use a bit of a boost in quality. But hey, the server is super nice and friendly! Plus, the restaurant is brand new and absolutely spotless. So, if you're up for it, we totally recommend giving it a shot!“
“I’m really picky about my seafood boils. For the price, it’s definitely worth trying. Their sauce was a on the thicker side, I just didn’t enjoy the consistency (7.5/10.) I also got catfish and sweet potato fries. That combo was 9/10. I really liked the catfish.“
“Some guy Eric on here complaining how "two slices and this is a sub" . Eric, well here in Texas we call that a fruitcake review you boujie boy! I'll die on this hill called Antones! Greatest thing you can chew on and digest.... Chow chow spread for life. -QP 32 Mustard Battalion“
“From Fl and while visiting for the Houston rodeo, I stopped in at Frenchy's and that was by far some of the best chicken I've ever had !! I always order my drink without ice and idk what type of magical fountain they have, but the fruit punch was extremely cold and I love that !!“
“Very clean and great atmosphere, great staff, as soon as I placed my order, the team in the back was on it!! The food is yummy, the lunch special from 11:00am-3:00pm is irresistible? the wings is one of the best in Town!, fish & shrimp so good… ?? I’m gonna keep coming back. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vegetarian options: The salad ? yummy“
“Another crazy busy restaurant in Houston. We got a table for 11 people, and when you travel in large packs order family style. We ordered so many dishes I got tired of taking pictures. Nevertheless, the service was fast and efficient. The food is definitely exotic in choices and preparation. So if you are into adventure dining, but not too crazy, Ocean Crawfish is a good start.“
“OMG, the first time coming to this play and their food was amazing. Can i give it a 100 star? Look, I've been eating seafood, but all the seafood I've been eating is nothing compared to this place... best seafood place, I'll be coming back for more...“
“Given 5 stars for manager, food and second server.Meal was a disaster before I even sat down due to an abrupt server. Hostess was going to seat our party of 3 at a round table for 5 and a server (who ended up being our server) ran over and told us “you can’t sit there “. She was our server and I addressed it with her and mentioned she should soften her approach. Anyway, girls lunch went downhill from there. Other two women arrived. I ordered the salad and gumbo lunch special. My order here for 30 years. Other ladies ordered their favorite, the chopped salad with crispy chicken. Well, items were left off of both salads when ordering — tomatoes, onions. One salad was perfect. The other came back with tomatoes and 6 pieces of chicken. So it was returned to kitchen. Manager comes over and apologized. Offering free dessert. Salad was returned with no tomatoes or avocado, and only 4 pieces of chicken. Server comes over after I had to get up and get her attention at cash register in back corner talking with a friend looking at their friend’s necklace. Told her there was a problem and she says “I’ll be over in a minute”, and goes back to chatting with friend and looking at her necklace. Server did come over and offered to bring out the avacado. My friend was not happy with this. Now manager comes over a second time, apologies given again. Anyway, manager comped our meal and assigned a new server to our table. Was a mess of a lunch. Spent majority of time speaking with server and manager. I am visiting from out of town and this is Pappa’s for goodness sake. Expectations are high for what they charge. Lunch a bomb. Good good food as always, mine was really good as always. But never like to engage with manager during a meal I look forward to.“
