“Service was great. The atmosphere was energetic. I ordered the ribs and umami fries. My first plate of ribs was cold. The manager, Nemo, gladly returned them to the kitchen and brought out a fresh, hot plate. She brought over dessert to sweeten the experience. Overall, it was a nice dining experience.”

“Our trip was amazing. My husband treated me to a Good Friday Lunch. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great. Aaron came to our table and offered polite conversation and Whiskey Cake. The cake was incredible. The house made whipped cream is always an added bonus. It’s gluttonous, but go for it. You can always eat a salad tomorrow. ?Come out and visit. Make sure you meet Aaron. He’s awesome!”

“The sushi is really good here, and like the name says they play a variety of music but most is classic Rock n Roll. This is the second time my wife and I were here and we were extremely pleased they have a place is Stafford that offers sushi. I like spicy sushi and what I got was absolutely delicious. This place ROCKS! The service, the food, and the environment gets my thumbs up!!”

“Given 5 stars for manager, food and second server.Meal was a disaster before I even sat down due to an abrupt server. Hostess was going to seat our party of 3 at a round table for 5 and a server (who ended up being our server) ran over and told us “you can’t sit there “. She was our server and I addressed it with her and mentioned she should soften her approach. Anyway, girls lunch went downhill from there. Other two women arrived. I ordered the salad and gumbo lunch special. My order here for 30 years. Other ladies ordered their favorite, the chopped salad with crispy chicken. Well, items were left off of both salads when ordering — tomatoes, onions. One salad was perfect. The other came back with tomatoes and 6 pieces of chicken. So it was returned to kitchen. Manager comes over and apologized. Offering free dessert. Salad was returned with no tomatoes or avocado, and only 4 pieces of chicken. Server comes over after I had to get up and get her attention at cash register in back corner talking with a friend looking at their friend’s necklace. Told her there was a problem and she says “I’ll be over in a minute”, and goes back to chatting with friend and looking at her necklace. Server did come over and offered to bring out the avacado. My friend was not happy with this. Now manager comes over a second time, apologies given again. Anyway, manager comped our meal and assigned a new server to our table. Was a mess of a lunch. Spent majority of time speaking with server and manager. I am visiting from out of town and this is Pappa’s for goodness sake. Expectations are high for what they charge. Lunch a bomb. Good good food as always, mine was really good as always. But never like to engage with manager during a meal I look forward to.”

“First off, I had ZERO idea this restaurant was at all affiliated with Ninfa’s. The level at which I miss Ninfa’s is hard to measure. After reading all the stories on the menu I was so ready to order. Looking at the menu I knew I had to order the carnitas. To say they were perfect would be a gross understatement. Crispy on the outside tender and fall apart juicy on the inside. Each bite was heaven. The service was great. Our drinks never emptied and the server was on it. The margaritas stayed full and we were there for a few hours. This is a meal that I will remember for a long time. When I am back in Houston, I will return.”

“Everyone is friendly even the customers. Hangout at the bar and chat or play a friendly game of pool. If you're lucky you'll see someone sing karaoke on Thursday. Owner will work with you if you have an event or special request.”

“I went on Friday night (2/16th) to support my friend DJ Panda and had an awesome time. They have Happy Hour specials until 10 pm which includes $3 beer, $5 shots and drinks. The Bartender fixed my Kettle One vodka, tonic water, and lime drink just how I like it. I usually eat the Chipotle wings and fries. Lastly, DJ Panda had the house rocking. Customers were sending requests left and right, sending him shots, and vibing out to the plethora of songs he was playing. One guy at the bar kept yelling, "FIRE IN THE HOLE"?! So it's safe to say, he was enjoying himself as well.”
