“I would like to thank Jason for helping make my daughter’s confirmation party a great one. I called the day before the party to see what they had to offer because I was tired and couldn’t think of what to cook for my guests. He took his time go through the different options available and I told him that I would think about it and call back. I did so thirty minutes later and set the delivery for 2pm the following day. The confirmation ceremony was a little shorter than scheduled so my husband asked me to call and see if I they could deliver the food earlier. I called, it was Jason again, and without question he promised to have it to us as soon as possible. They did so before 1:30p. The food was hot, so I did not have to reheat it. My friend helped me set it up. I got the party pack with beef. We were both amazed by the amount of food and by the fact that they brought us plates, forks ( which I forgot to get at the store) . The food was a hit with my picky teens and adults guests. Thank you so much for your patience with me. I now understand why my friend Ashlee orders from you. So Jason, once again, you are AWESOME!!!! HEB was providing coupons for a buy-one-get-one-free BOGO entree at El Tiempo for January, so I decided to hit a few El Tiempos around Houston. I avoided any inside the loop because of the required valet parking. This was my first El Tiempo to visit.

Time to Margaritas: 15 Minutes
Time to Entree: 25 Minutes

We arrived at around 7:00PM on a Thursday evening and there was reasonable parking here. The staff were very accommodating in finding us a table with an outlet for charging my laptop.

Coupon interpretation: This El Tiempo let us order anything except fajita plates, which was in alignment with the coupon. We were allowed to order margaritas to fulfill the drink requirement.

Margarita (4/5): I got a frozen mango margarita as I usually do. The margaritas are relatively consistent at El Tiempo and they do a nice floater of tequila. This one had some chunks of mango and ice that clogged my straw a bit more, but it was still pretty good.
Full Chicken Quesadilla (4/5): Definitely huge. We both ordered this and both took home half as leftovers. I found the chicken a tad dry, and I'm disappointed that they don't include guacamole for the price.

I paid via inKind with no issues. You have to manually write in your check total instead of using a check number, and then the wait staff will take a photo with their phone so don't close the screen (or take a screenshot yourself).

Overall, a solid tex-mex staple of Houston that remains quite pricey. Suggest checking for coupons or using inKind for a discount.“

“I've never dined in so I'm only rating the food which was phenomenal! I purchased the fajita party pack for a party at work and everyone love it. I work at a hospital and I remember one of the families blessing us with this too. The steak and chicken was juicy and flavorful. The charro beans had the perfect kick to it. The only thing I was a little confused about was the size of the floor tortillas. The were huge compared to the size of the corn tortillas. But they just tore them in half and still ate them up. I will definitely be ordering them again and when time permits, sit in the restaurant to see how the service is.“

Since we were needing to leave earlier than them, that was an inconvenience. We still tipped him well, but maybe that is something they can improve upon when a customer makes a request.
