“I went to Gringos to order the taquitos. I frequent the Gringos Pearland, Texas City, and sometimes Fuqua (Houston) locations for work. I always substitute for flour tortillas and fajita beef/chicken. This location stated they couldn’t do it and never heard of it and they only had the premade versions. There should be some way that all locations can be informed of the substitutions available. Call the other locations and confirm. They will tell you they do it all the time.“
“My daughter-in-law took me there for lunch last Sunday, and it was an amazing experience. No wait time at 2:30. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area was very pleasant, not loud. We chose to be seated in the patio area. The patio had a thick, clear plastic covering the entire area that day, which made it an even more enjoyable experience because the wind was blowing. The service was excellent, and the grilled salmon was delicious!“
“We love the food! We ordered street Tacos and Tacos Dorados. They’re different of what we are used to. My girls also got kids meal. One ordered the Steak Taco and the other one a Beef quesadilla. Service is a bit slow, but the place is small and you can easily grab someone’s attention and they come immediately. According to my daughter the beef was hard to cut (butter knife) but yummy. The other one thought the chicken quesadilla had too much cheese (lol) and the chicken was dry.The margaritas were great! My favorite was the house margarita on the rocks, it’s dangerous.. is one of those drinks you can chug and will get you later..I had the guava margarita first and it was delicious. The watermelon was good but not as good as the house and guava. The guava comes in a martini glass.Overall the food was good and the prices are great! ?“
“This place is a hidden gem! I'm a first time customer and the waitress Alexandra was so sweet. The food is fresh and tastes amazing. I will definitely return in the near future. I highly recommend this place for their authentic food and clean atmosphere.“
“New favorite Mexican?! Swung by for lunch yesterday and I am already dreaming of coming back. The wait staff were friendly & attentive, cups did not stay empty for long. I ordered the El Jimador Rita and my mom the Ultimate Rico's, both were really tasty and satisfying. Coming here, you MUST order the Stuffed Avocado, it stole the entire show for this meal. I've never seen one served quite like this, but it's absolute perfection. The Ranchero sauce as a marinara like feel to it that is absolutely to die for. The breading is lovely, all of the flavors and textures just worked so well together my mouth is watering as I type. The Beef Fajita tacos were tender and I really enjoyed that the meat was chopped, i definitely prefer that over thick strips. The Charro Beans were cooked well and had some of the best flavor I've had in a while. Tortilla soup tasted like it came straight out of grandmas kitchen! A cozy and simple dish, you really can't go wrong.“
“Small place been coming here for 7 or 8 months now we love to have Mexican once a week where we feel welcomed and are able to accommodate our way of eating. Our favorite plates are bistec ala Mexicana, Chile relleno with cheese and fajita or chicken, tres amigos, stuffed avocado and skinnyrita.Dietary restrictions: I'm all meat no carbs no sugars and they accommodate us wellParking: You don't walk to far“
“My go-to Mexican spot. My family goes to Victoria’s 3-4 times a month. Hand’s down best Mexican spot in Katy. All the food is great, but I highly recommend the Mixed Alambre or the Brisket Enchiladas. Also, they carry Victoria beer. Nothing like having a cold Victoria with a lime at Victoria’s!“
“The food here is consistent, the premium steak fajitas are really delicious. I’ve been lucky enough to get Mateo as my server almost every time I go. He is the BEST - always has a smile on his face and ready to help any way he can. Go and ask for Mateo.Kid-friendliness: Mondays & Tuesdays kids eat free.“
“Believe the hype and don't sleep on this Tex Mex Mex(yes double on the Mex) place. Not what I expected but it works. You walk in and place order at the counter. I opted for what the cashier referred to as comfort food, the carne guisada and a la carte crispy taco. By the time I made it to the table I wanted, I already had my chips and salsa. Jesse, my server was very polite and warned me that the green salsa in the Coca Cola bottle was very spicy. Thank you for that Jesse, cause it was very spicy, but I had to try it for myself. Lol The chips and salsa were good. Nothing epic like I was expecting after reading some previous reviews on Facebook foodies page. The taco was nice and fresh with plenty on lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. I feel that it might be a tad overpriced at $5.50. Just my opinion. The carne guisada was good (not the best I've had) but pretty good. The beans and rice were good and so were the tortillas, appeared made in house. Overall, I think what makes it is what was mentioned by a customer on a Facebook foodie post, is the friendliness of the staff. They are very nice and attentive. I will most definitely be back and I know exactly what I'm going back for and not necessarily in this order: Chicken poblano Breakfast Club sandwich“
“We were looking for somewhere convenient to eat near Mo's place, this was a nice surprise! The queso, beef fajita nachos, and fajita combo were all great, and the rice and beans had a good flavor. Restaurant was clean and service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely recommend and be back.Parking: The parking lot was busy but we were able to locate a spot“
“I love this place. There has never been anything that I have ordered that I did not absolutely love. The service is fantastic and it has a very cozy and wonderful atmosphere. It is my go to restaurant for Mexican food. The margaritas are great and the prices even greater.“
“I've been going to Tonys/Ray's for many years and absolutely love it. I recently went after have being away from the Katy area for about 10 years. It was just as I remembered. Except for one thing, the automated pay process. I'm all about technology but I absolutely hate this. I like to get my check and sit for a while, this automated process has the server hovering over you and I feel like I'm being rushed out the door. I don't like it one bit. That said, I'll still patronize this establishment because the food, drinks and service are fantastic.“
“Torchy’s has really nice quality food and a decent atmosphere. The wait time isn’t long and the drinks look well-priced. That being said, their prices for tacos are a little bit higher than they should be. Almost $5-6 for a singular taco. I feel they could be priced more close to the $2-4 range.“
“We love this place. The food is fantastic and always comes out fast. We love the fajitas, chicken tortilla soup, queso, guacamole, and charro bean dip. Service always depends on which waiter you get, as at any restaurant. We have a go-to waiter, Mario, and he's top-notch!“
“I recently dined at this Mexican restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The spacious setting created a comfortable dining atmosphere. The freshness of all the dishes was evident, and the speed at which the food was prepared was remarkable. The staff was not only helpful but also contributed to a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. A definite five-star choice for those who appreciate both quality and efficiency in Mexican cuisine.“
“Went in today to pick up lunch.Guy was super friendly, took my order over the phone before I arrivedArrived and was super friendly again and was explaining the menu to me and other things, also talking about the food.Nice experience, good staff, will return.“
“Just ordered for the first time and it was to-go. It was delicious ? the Tracey #2 (chicken covered in veggie sauce and cheese) was tender and tasty. The beans were excellent as well. We also got the enchiladas covered in mole sauce which was just right, not an overpowering flavor. Long story short, we will be ordering from here “
“I’ve been to several Chuy’s before but never this location. It’s just like all the other ones inside. The workers are all very friendly. The food was awesome. Everything was great except…Please do something about the tall chairs at the tall tables. OMG We kept thinking we were falling to our deaths. They are way too wobbly ?? and we weren’t even drinking.“
“Drive by this place several times and finally came in to try it. Definitely will come back. The salsa and chips are delicious and the food we ordered including fajitas was absolutely amazing. The service was great and quick. All around great restaurant.“
“Dinner with family was wonderful at Alicia's Katy this evening! The spinach and mushroom enchiladas were fabulous. Cheese enchiladas were wonderful, as were the beef fajita nachos. There were so many choices and all equally delectable. Thank you for the outstanding service for making our family time special. 5-“
“the food was delicious, i love the green sauce, it is unique in my experience and i have been eating tex mex for fifty plus years. the service was above 5 stars. i sat at the bar and annabelle and cameron were excellent! it was one of the best meals including the atmosphere which is important to me. try it, you’ll be happy you did. also spoke to the kitchen manager that night, super cool. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?⭐️⭐️“
“Nice spot!! The food was fresh and hot a tasted amazing. The presentation of the food was beautiful. The breakfast tacos are big and fully stuffed. I could only eat one. I bought them for my job and Laredo was the only place open at 5am since I have to be at wirk at 6am. So ths was a win win for me. Thank you Laredo I will be back. I forgot to take pictures but I’m going back so I’ll take some next time.“
“The food was great! Everything was seasoned well, came out hot, with great service. And it helped tremendously that there was a play area so the children could play while we waited for our meals. And don't worry, you can be "kid free" indoors.Kid-friendliness: Feel free to enjoy a meal outside while your children enjoy play time on the covered jungle gym. Eat and play. It's the kid way.“
