Ordered the Beef burrito dinner. Full of beans, lettuce, some green things and red things, some cheese and a LOT of fat, gristle, veins and extra pieces that most people would not want in a burrito.
$20 for a "scrap meat" burrito is a bit excessive.
My first Mexican restaurant experience since coming to Houston Texas - I highly recommend this place - service was great from the minute I walked in the door which was during a busy lunch hour till the time I left and the food was excellent and very authentic
I will be a long time customer

The atmosphere is warm and the staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and caring, with many having worked there for years. Service is quick and polite.
The food is always solid and well-priced. Chips come out hot and fresh with delicious salsas; the green salsa is a favorite. The chile con queso is some of the best, and the queso fundido with chorizo is really good, though greasy. Popular dishes include amazing beef enchiladas, perfectly seasoned steak fajitas, fajita combos, tacos, nachos, and enchiladas verdes. The tomatillo sauce is very flavorful. Portions are generous—a fajita combo for one can feed two. Fresh, warm flour tortillas are a highlight, and the charro beans are amazing. For brunch, items like the steak fajita and fried eggs are perfectly portioned.
Drinks are amazing and consistent. The margaritas are strong and worth the money, with all types of flavors available; the cucumber margarita and the spicy Miche-Rita are highly recommended. The Micheladas are also really good. It’s a great spot for lunch, family dinners, or big parties, holding a special place for many regulars who always return.
