“The owners are so welcoming and since our first visit they remember us everytime we come in. The food is always delicious, we have never had anything that wasn't great. Love this restaurant! A must try in Katy / Energy Corridor Korean fried chicken, garlic shrimp, marinated galbi, grilled zucchini. And the very best is the chocolate concord cake!!!”

“We went in on the third day they were open and it was fantastic! Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. It also came out quickly for how busy they were. Hung out at the bar waiting for our table and had the Malaysian Sling, and it was AMAZING! Josh was a fantastic server and gave us advice on portions and made great recommendations. He even chased my husband outside after he forgot his sunglasses on the table. Every staff member from hostess, bartenders, servers, etc. were great! 100/10 would recommend!”

“Love the Mala Spicy Rice Noodle. I can really taste the sichuan peppercorn in the soup base. My children love the original rice noodle soup and I recommend the kimchee soup as well as their dry rice noodle with beef tendon too!”

“This place is AMAZING! Had it for the first time today, we tried the boneless ribs, tostones, egg roll, and crab Rangoon. The employees were warm, welcoming, and patient with us as we decided what to eat. (We’ve never been to a restaurant with this type of fusion before and there is a lot to choose from)

“I grew up in SouthEast Asia and it is very difficult to find an authentic SE Asian food in the US. That is why I was so happy to find out that Uncle Chin's Kitchen offers authentic Malaysian/Singaporean food. All the food we tried were super delish. We (my husband and I) tried the satay, which, hands down the best satay I have tasted in many years since I live in the US. The peanut sauce is so tasty, you can't get enough of it. We also tried their nasi lemak, fried fish with sambal, and their most popular dish Char Kuey Teow. They are so delicious, I am drooling now just thinking about them. The staff are also great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the food they offers. The only thing I dislike is the fact that they are in Houston/Katy and not in Dallas where I live so I can not eat their food as often as I would love to. So Houstonians, rejoice, count your blessing and go visit Uncle Chin's Kitchen :)”

The service was a bit slow as we had to ask several times for a refill of our drinks and finally got it at the end of dinner. The food had a lot of flavor and was delicious however the steak I received was so chewy. The dipping sauce to it tasted great. Overall great experience if you want to try gamey cuts of meat, looking for a spot for a date night, or even brunch as they have wonderful specials and a wide variety of meals.”

“Anderson was awesome! He made sure to give us fresh fries and wasn’t giving us gross old ones where fast food places will just stick back in the oil fries that have been sitting there to make them “fresh” or to change them to no salt.

Either way he was great and accommodating and helpful. I’m not sure if they gave us spicy chicken fries on accident but either way it was a good experience so thank you !”

It was the middle of their dinner rush, and the drive thru was super busy. I had to go into the store to complete my transaction since there were some issues with the register. Marjan was on top of it, incredibly attentive and extremely professional as she helped me with my order.”

“A new Kabob spot popped up on my Instagram so I had to make my way over. I think I actually saw a video of their saffron wings first, that video hooked me. Solid flavor on the wings and the two sauces that came with compliments them pretty well. The chicken kabobs were probably the juiciest I've ever seen, marinade lightly but just enough for me to want to go back and get some more. The two owners were very nice and hospitable. They offered us complimentary hot tea after our meal and I love me some tea! Located in a food truck park right behind Fusion Grill on Mason. There was probably 10 other trucks there but only a few open on Monday. Go get you some!”

The price for the amount of food they give you is very reasonable. The restroom was immaculately clean which is important to me being a woman. They show you your order before they bag it so you know that your order is correct. We Love this restaurant!!!”

“I’ve been on the hunt for a quaint coffee shop that has LOTUS energy drinks. I’ve looked for years…. I casually took my 11 month old on a walk and stumbled upon this place. The amazement when you walk in alone is phenomenal. I’m kinda in love. But when I saw they serve LOTUS… I knew it was meant to be!!!!! The baristas was soooooo polite and patient. the food was awesome i HEAVILY prefer the chicken here as canes chicken is just very bland and just white while here they have some seasoning on the chicken the fries were very crispy and perfect length and width and the sauce selection was A1 (one of canes biggest flaws is not having enough sauces) the toast was amazing aswell.

Friendly staff, prompt service, and the coffee isn't over roasted or has a burnt taste like most others. The iced turtle latte with an extra shot is the pick me up everyone needs.”

Would recommend the mango juice as well.8/1/2023 4-star: Ordered the Domino and got like 90% cheese and %10 beans. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of cheese, and the arepa was filled to the brim which is amazing, but was hoping for more substance with the beans. I've previously ordered the Domino and it had an almost 50/50 split of beans and cheese and it was great. Tequenos with the garlic sauce is an 11/10”
