A friend introduced me to this shop and I have made it my mission to introduce them to others. I haven't tried their donuts but have bought some for others who raved about them.“
“There are many places to get kolaches in this area of Texas, however, they’re not all Kolache Foctory. I use this location the most, but you will get pretty much the same great taste at every location and at this one the staff are very courteous. If you’re in the area, stop in and try the recent flavor of the month: eggs and Chile (it’s mild spice to me). You can never go wrong with the tried and true bacon, eggs and cheese kolache. This was the first time having the pecan roast coffee and it’s got a great aroma!“
“Maria suggested great choices and was on point. Vary friendly and helpful. the food was great. I had the Barbacoa cholaquiles breakfast bowl. It was so good. Also had the million dollar bacon as a side. Perfect sweet blend to my bowl. Wife had Brooklyn breakfast sandwich which she loved. her potatoes weren't as good as the sandwich. “I have been going to Waffle House since May of 1976. There were only 3 in the Houston area then in Pasadena on 225 (gone now) and on Eldridge Dr by Gulf Freeway and on NASA road 1 off 45 South. But now they are all over. We get excellent service at Fry Rd from Roe. She is a server there for several years. Last time my bacon was a bit overcooked so she actually threw another slice on the grill and brought it to me. Their coffee is no longer freshly ground but still has that excellent smooth taste. Often very busy for good reason.“
“Toasted Yolk was not what expected at all, i was surprised by the atmosphere, the decor was cozy and welcoming, the staff were great and helpful, service was quick, drinks are innovative and tasty and the food is really delicious, the portion is the right size and well balanced, it will be my go to place for breakfast and brunches from now on … really superb“
“This is a nice counter service spot that really leans into friendly rustic atmosphere. A great place for families, and seems to be popular with the older crowd, especially since you can get regular drip coffee on tap. The food is fresh, cooked to order so there may be a wait. You can also watch the famous biscuits and waffles being made.The star deduction is because while it was good, it wasn't ~go out of your way~ good. This is a good enough place to stop by for brunch if you're in the area but don't expect it to change your world. This is a chain restaurant but I haven't been to another one.Word to the wise: order the pepper jelly sauce on the side if you haven't had it. “Food is delicious and worth the wait. Pancake batter of all pancakes were consistent and tasty. Very soft and big. Not too sweet and just right .The Benedict was very good and hollandaise sauce was very rich in flavor. The hashbrowns were different in a very good way. Just overall enjoyed our visit. Servers were very polite and accommodating. Highly recommended.“
“The Manager David gave my daughter and I impeccable service! Our server Isabella was so kind, attentive and professional. The food was well prepared and the atmosphere was the best I have ever experienced at a waffle house. I have never seen a manager encouraging his staff as they served. “I really appreciate the variety on the menu, including lots of healthier options that make it easy for me to eat out without blowing up my nutrition goals. But, for those who tend to be cold sensitive, maybe dress in layers. They keep the A/C CHILLY!“
