“Great meat all you can eat. Meat seems good but heavily understaffed. If you go at opening, the food and sauces are filled up. But later down the day it never gets refilled. If you order a lot, some servers would give you 'you fat boy' look.“
“I enjoyed my lunch at Bon Galbi. I ordered the bulgogi dish, dolsot bibimbap, and the Korean pear juice. You don't get a large amount of Banchan, but you get good ones like fish cakes, kimchi, japche, and broccoli. The dolsot was delicious, and the sizzling of the pot was pleasing to the ears. The pear juice was slightly sweet and oh-so-good! The atmosphere was nice and open, and it had a small local restaurant feel to it with K-pop music in the background.Overall, the food was delicious. If I'm back in the Katy area, I'll be sure to stop by.“
“Haidilao lives up to its name in terms of service, quality and of course amusement. We went with the whole family close to opening time and got in without a wait. Ordering was a breeze on their tablet, and items came out almost instantaneously-- before some of us even had a chance to make our dipping sauces! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We used the English version of some of the "secret phrases" for some goodies. If you're wondering, they do do the ke mu san dance that's gone viral on TikTok. In terms of food-- everything was excellent, from the side dishes to the hot pot items. Presentation was always stellar, especially the "dancing noodles" XD The one thing I wouldn't bother with are the dessert mousses-- they came frozen and stayed that way for a good 20min, and don't have much flavor and I wasn't a big fan of the texture. Then again-- you probably didn't come to Haidilao for dessert.“
