“We used Alchemy Bake Lab for our daughters wedding May 21, 2022. They were so easy to work with. Kady created the beautiful wedding cake and an absolutely gorgeous dessert bar to go with it. You would have thought our guests had not eaten in a month the way they mobbed the dessert bar. Since the wedding I have received call after call asking who did the desserts. Would recommend Alchemy Bake Lab without hesitation and would use them again in a heart beat.“

“Uncle Tetsu is easily one of the best dessert spots in Houston. Their Japanese cheesecake is incredibly soft, light, and flavorful without being overly sweet. I haven’t tried every cheesecake place out there, but as someone who loves desserts, this place absolutely stands out. “This place not only deserves 5 stars for the great food choices, the man behind the counter is just a great guy! Highly personable. I told him it was my first time there. He made a few recommendations, let me choose, and then walked me to my car since it was so early in the morning and no one was around. The quality of the kolaches has made this my new go to place for breakfast! Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!“

“As we walked in, the owner immediately got up to greet us, asked if we had ever been in before (we hadn't) and asked what samples he could get for us. We tried the the sugar free pistachio soft serve, followed by a lemon blueberry pound cake. Everyone was so helpful and so kind.

I ended up getting a carrot cake and a tres leches cake. I haven't tried the tres leches yet (but that's the reason we came!). The carrot cake was SO GOOD! It was just the right amount of sweet, the cream cheese frosting was creamy and a little tangy, and as a bonus, did not have raisins! I believe they used walnuts throughout.

I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious treats and eats!“

They have a sweeter dough which is probably more traditional. Growing up on Shipley's kolaches, I enjoy the varieties offered here. This is my favorite place for kolaches“
