Overall I was happy coming here. The woman helping me was polite and cheerful, and the muffin I got was $0.85 and the "Marranito" I ordered was $0.50. These prices included tax (or at least I didn't see a tax line item), so overall this was a good panaderia to come to. Coming from The Heights, I usually went to El Bolillo, so this was good to try as a new Katy panaderia. Bottom line, not a bad place for a Panaderia.
Next door to their meat market is the bakery. There is a good assortment of sweet bread to choose from here. I'd stay away from their liquados. They don't seem to know what they are doing on that score. Mine was sour and odd. Their agua de fruta (fruit water), however, is a must try. Very tasty. Not quite sure what the flavoring in it is, but it is delicious.
