I decided to take a Saturday drive and check it out. Wonderful surprises were waiting for me! Had the Monkey Bread Muffin and purchased the cheesecake with apple topping for later. “The Baker’s Son opened in Kissimmee, FL. I was able to go to there soft opening 12/4/2025. The Filipino Baked goods are fresh, and they have a variety to choose from. I tried a couple, and loved the savory chicken filled siopao and chicken filled pandesal. The Filipino dessert baked goods were delicious too. All made fresh out of the oven. They have a cafe in the bakery that I did not get a chance to try yet, but will go with my husband and kids in the future.“

Walking in you're greeted with a warm welcome. I asked the young man for recommendations, which he made with enthusiasm.

I ended up getting their famous egg tarts and BBQ pork pasties. Both were fresh, falvorful, and yummy.
I see why they are well known for the egg tart. It was amazing. Flakey, sweet (but not too sweet), and very satisfying. Even my mom was impressed (she loves to bake, which speaks volumes).
