“I have been to Anvil many times but always on a Sunday or Monday, but never been there on a Saturday, and let me tell you that it is a different animal on Saturdays ..... much much busier of course, but the age group changes completely ..... half of the folks there are around 25 if not younger .... while on Sundays or Mondays it is a different cup of tea all together.“

“Great small coffee shop and excellent service. Have been a couple of times and always enjoyed their coffee. If you want to chill there to work, study, or socialize, the place has a great atmosphere but seating is kind of limited when their super busy. Their drinks are straightforward and great quality, like what the place is called, "Simply Coffie", so I don't get it when someone complained about the lack of sweetness in their drink, if you want sweet drinks bring your own sweetener, or stick with McDonald's or Starbucks ?. Staffs are nice and most of the time managers or owners are there so quality control is there, all you have to do is ask if there's anything wrong and they will do their best to accommodate.“

I asked to have my pastries served warm and they came out like they were freshly made! The Morning Bun was my favorite (think cinnamon sugar croissant in a cinnamon roll shape…THE BOMB 😭) Chocolate Chip Cookie was ooey, gooey, soft, moist, amazing 🤤 And the Cheese Danish? C’monnnnnnnnnnnnnn so good.

“Wow!!! The minute I walked in, I could smell the deliciously fresh breads coming out from the oven. The restaurant is clean and vibrant! There are plenty variety of bánh mì to choose from. They the meat and ingredients are also fresh and you can watch the people making it. The Vietnamese is delicious and refreshing. The minute a took a bite, I can hear the crunch from bánh mì and vegetables, the richness/fatiness from the butter and pate with different slices of meat is a burst of wonders in my mouth! The interaction with the service people was friendly and warming. Besides bánh mì, this place also has rice and vermicelli noodle dishes too! Definitely recommended ?“

“Classy, intimate vibes at this cocktail lounge! Upon entering, you were seated with a glass of water and warm towel to clean your hands. I inquired about the happy hour, which they no longer have, but my server was kind enough to still honor the deal since they silently discontinued the deal without announcing it on social media. We got the Rolls-Royce martini and best seller classic cocktail evergreen (original price $16 each, but we got them for $8 each)! Both tasted clean and strong. Definitely recommend this place for a date night or girls night!“

Although it felt a bit downgraded since I last visited in April, I can say that Bluestone never disappoints. Maybe because of the peak hour, the service was average and we were seated outside and not really taken care of. We didn’t get our cutlery and water until we asked for it. I tried other pilates studio and my co-worker told me about Duo. From the first day I knew this would be my pilates home. All of the instructors are kind and you can tell they really love helping people and have a passion for fitness. They even have hybrid classes and spin at the new studio in Autry park! “First time trying this place based on an article I saw from Eatery and it did not disappoint! It was so satisfying that I decided to write this 5 star review right away. I got the banh mi thit nuong (bbq pork baguette) and the seasoning was just right with a slight buttery taste on the baguette. The baguette was soft and fluffy yet still maintained a little crispiness on the outside but not to where it will injure the upper roof of your mouth. Anyway the banh mi thit nuong reminds me of this other place I used to love but stopped going there because quality went down. Glad I tried this place and this will be my go-to banh mi shop from now on! I will definitely be back to try the other banh mi! I hope they maintain their quality!“

“I’m so sad that I only got to experience this place one because it would break my bank from coming everyday. If you’re a fan of sweet or bitter matcha, this is the place for you! They offer soft serve, shave ice, lattes, or ice cream. For the matcha they offer levels of “strongness” 1-4 depending on how strong you would like it.

They also do offer other flavors such as ube, thai tea, cookies and cream, black sesame, and pandan for their ice creams!
My boyfriend for the ube soft serve and it was such a delicious, strong ube flavor. My son got the cookies and cream ice cream, which is a simple classic you can’t really go wrong or mess up with.

Whereas I got the matcha shave ice. This option gives you the choice to pick two toppings along side with it, where it comes with the matcha flavor shave ice and your choice of soft serve by default. I of course picked the matcha soft serve, which was extremely flavorful and I’m assuming was the level one flavor because it wasn’t too strong, but so delicious still yet. And for toppings I picked the matcha boba and mochi balls which were the perfect texture and consistency, not too tough, nor too soft. Other toppings consisted of red bean, black sesame, chia seeds, whipped cream, strawberry sauce and matcha chocolate. Such difficult decisions when it came to how I wanted my dessert.

The number of customers in the shop when we visited just goes to show how awesome this place is! Definitely recommend this place for matcha and non matcha lovers! They have a flavor for everyone!“

It can get busy but they’ve taken their time to answer all my questions about their variety of drinks. They really care about making a pleasant experience for you. “I got the avocado chili toast and the a regular vanilla latte. they only had two milk choices if i remember correctly and me being "adventurous" i tried the pistachio mik. idk if it was the milk or the coffee itself but i didnt like the way that coffee tasted, i only drank 1/3.

their avocado toast was pretty good I really liked the combo with goat cheese esp. the avocado part was a little too mushy. fyi this toast is a full meal not an appetizer. big portions. so if you are hungry go for it but if you're not hungry I don't think it's a good choice because you might just want to eat it later and it's the type of food that if you eat it later it won't be that good imo

the café interior is pretty nice, simple bright & clean. artwork for purchase at the back. they have a meeting room which is a nice touch. not a big cafe but still efficient space wise without feeling too crowded.“
