“I have been to Anvil many times but always on a Sunday or Monday, but never been there on a Saturday, and let me tell you that it is a different animal on Saturdays ..... much much busier of course, but the age group changes completely ..... half of the folks there are around 25 if not younger .... while on Sundays or Mondays it is a different cup of tea all together.“

If you want to chill there to work, study, or socialize, the place has a great atmosphere but seating is kind of limited when their super busy. Their drinks are straightforward and great quality, like what the place is called, "Simply Coffie", so I don't get it when someone complained about the lack of sweetness in their drink, if you want sweet drinks bring your own sweetener, or stick with McDonald's or Starbucks ?. Staffs are nice and most of the time managers or owners are there so quality control is there, all you have to do is ask if there's anything wrong and they will do their best to accommodate.“

I asked to have my pastries served warm and they came out like they were freshly made! The Morning Bun was my favorite (think cinnamon sugar croissant in a cinnamon roll shape…THE BOMB 😭) Chocolate Chip Cookie was ooey, gooey, soft, moist, amazing 🤤 And the Cheese Danish? C’monnnnnnnnnnnnnn so good.

“Wow!!! The minute I walked in, I could smell the deliciously fresh breads coming out from the oven. The restaurant is clean and vibrant! There are plenty variety of bánh mì to choose from. They the meat and ingredients are also fresh and you can watch the people making it. The Vietnamese is delicious and refreshing. The minute a took a bite, I can hear the crunch from bánh mì and vegetables, the richness/fatiness from the butter and pate with different slices of meat is a burst of wonders in my mouth! The interaction with the service people was friendly and warming. Besides bánh mì, this place also has rice and vermicelli noodle dishes too! Definitely recommended ?“

“I want to first start by saying this place is the best for pilates and fitness in general. I remember when I started in March 2023 I didn't know where to start. I tried other pilates studio and my co-worker told me about Duo. From the first day I knew this would be my pilates home. All of the instructors are kind and you can tell they really love helping people and have a passion for fitness. They even have hybrid classes and spin at the new studio in Autry park! I'm so glad I found this place. And the new studio is awesome as well. I cannot express in my review how much this place changed my life. The only thing I wish is that I left a review sooner! “This is the only place that serves good matcha ice-cream. Get the level 3-4 matcha ice cream, it’s amazing. But don’t take level 4 matcha at night because my friend couldn’t sleep after that LOL.

Hojicha ice cream was not that good. Too sweet for me and not as flavorful as the matcha ice cream.

Pandan ice cream was good but too sweet for me. I guess I just prefer Pandan cake over ice cream.

“First time trying this place based on an article I saw from Eatery and it did not disappoint! It was so satisfying that I decided to write this 5 star review right away. I got the banh mi thit nuong (bbq pork baguette) and the seasoning was just right with a slight buttery taste on the baguette. The baguette was soft and fluffy yet still maintained a little crispiness on the outside but not to where it will injure the upper roof of your mouth. Anyway the banh mi thit nuong reminds me of this other place I used to love but stopped going there because quality went down. Glad I tried this place and this will be my go-to banh mi shop from now on! I will definitely be back to try the other banh mi! I hope they maintain their quality!“

If you’re a coffee lover like me, prepare to have your taste buds elevated to a whole new level with Katz Coffee! I had the pleasure of taking a behind-the-scenes tour of their facility, and let me tell you – it was like walking through caffeine heaven. The aroma alone could make anyone swoon! ?

But it’s not just about how delicious their coffee is (though, seriously, it's SO good I could probably run a marathon after a cup). What really impressed me was their heart. Katz Coffee isn’t just about brewing the perfect roast—they’re brewing positive change in the community. I was thrilled to learn they actively support Veterans with PTSD and other incredible causes. Their commitment to giving back is just as strong as their coffee game.

“I got the avocado chili toast and the a regular vanilla latte. they only had two milk choices if i remember correctly and me being "adventurous" i tried the pistachio mik. idk if it was the milk or the coffee itself but i didnt like the way that coffee tasted, i only drank 1/3.

their avocado toast was pretty good I really liked the combo with goat cheese esp. the avocado part was a little too mushy. fyi this toast is a full meal not an appetizer. big portions. so if you are hungry go for it but if you're not hungry I don't think it's a good choice because you might just want to eat it later and it's the type of food that if you eat it later it won't be that good imo

the café interior is pretty nice, simple bright & clean. artwork for purchase at the back. they have a meeting room which is a nice touch. not a big cafe but still efficient space wise without feeling too crowded.“
