“I'm not sure anyone will be ready for the love I'm about to unload about Cambrian in this review.. so brace yourself and try to stay with me. If you can't make it through the full review definitely scroll down and at least read the part about the sandwich cookies! For your own benefit. ;) I try to wait and visit a place at least a few times before writing a review to be sure that the experience I had is consistent. I can now proclaim that I am like a Cambrian *regular* to put it lightly so what I'm going to include here is the ultimate truth. --The people here rock. ROCK! I know that when looking for a coffee shop its not always about the people but sometimes about the.. coffee? But, if you can get killer coffee served to you via ultra friendly humans.. it really takes it to the next level. My favorite coffee item for the summer is the Cambrian Iced Latte with Oatmilk (flavor is like honey and cinnamon). In winter I get the same thing but hot, or the vanilla syrup. They have way more hard core stuff and slow pours and all that but this is just me. --People go crazy for their sausage rolls. I can't really comment on these personally because I'm not really into meat but my husband, brother and basically everyone I've ever gotten one for (and apparently everyone on the internet) absolutely love them. --I CAN personally attest to the deliciousness of the samosas. So, so bomb. Flaky and well seasoned. The perfect savory baked good! --They have these cool little blue coins to "coffee forward". You buy them and give them to someone so they can come in for a free coffee item. People at the post office totally know about them now and I love to give them out around town! You can even buy them to have them apply to people who come in throughout the day! --There's other stuff like coffee roaster rotations, homemade vanilla syrup, delicious breakfast loaves, clean bathrooms and cool art. They also know how to properly serve tea! --THE SANDWICH COOKIES. I'm trying to keep this clean but I really wanted to say THE *FKN* SANDWICH COOKIES bc I need to emphasize how truly amazing and life altering these cookies are. I live in Houston, ok? I've been to lots of bakeries. Have I EVER had a cookie better than Gemma's sandwich cookies? No. No, I have not. They are a dream and I seriously salivate just thinking about them. I base my errands and outings around getting a sandwich cookie on the weeks that they are serving them. I mean, all of the cookies are phenom. The toffee? You'll hurt yourself they're so good. The peanut butter cup-oatmeal magic she does? Instant addiction. But these sandwich cookies.. like for real- words can't describe. They are art and that buttercream is second to none. I even have a favorite way to eat each of the flavors! I know this sounds extreme but I am telling you! So good!! They have the perfect amount of salt to keep these rich magical babies in balance and make them more adult than other sandwich cookies. Go have one! Try all the flavors! Also get me one. haha Taryn's sandwich-cookie eating process for full flavor effect: Lemon poppyseed needs to be eaten straight-up like a sandwich. The molasses/gingerbready guy needs to have his top taken off and eaten alone. THEN eat the bottom part with the frosting on top. DROOL The chocolate peanut butter needs to go into your mouth like a wheel so its like cookie on the right and left and frosting in the middle. For real! Take one regular sandwich bite and then rotate that thing to wheel into your mouth as you bite and its going to change your life. The butterscotchish one in the pictures? You can eat that one ANY.WAY. and each bite will still be perfect.“

“I came here with my family Saturday and everything was amazing! All the servers were really attentive and helpful. We had questions about certain dishes and one of the gentlemen helped us alot! “Easily the best banh mi in Houston! They are 20 minutes away from us but we still make the drive when we can. Note that their drinks are on the less-sweet side, so if you want yours really sweet let them know! The employees are really nice!“

“We stopped here for a relaxing morning coffee while visiting Houston. Did not disappoint. We had a couple of their great specialty coffees. The Lazy Latte and Purple Rain were delicious!“

“I was looking for a space to have my son's graduation party and came across this location on peerspace. I decided to pop and see what it was about and met Anto. He was amazing! He showed me around the coffee shop and explained that the entire space would be available for use with the rental including the bistro set up in the front, the drink cooler, the back alleyway, and he would even come in the day of the event to make coffee if guests requested it. The only rule was no nails in the wall. The price was THE BEST in the area. I was sold. He sent me an invoice. I paid half with an agreement to pay the balance in two weeks. Day of the event. I was let in an hour early by Rose to decorate and given an extra hour for clean up! Bonus points!! She let me in and left. My event went off without any issues!! I would highly recommend and will DEFINITELY use AGAIN for any event! We had roughly 50-60 people, food, music, a slideshow playing on the TV. A great time. Rose met me at the end to lock the door! Don't pass it up because it's a coffee shop!!“

“I’ve lived at the Remy on the Trails apartments for the last 2 years and been a customer at slowpokes for that time. I’ve been to most of the slowpokes locations and this one truly stands out. With minimal staff turnover over the last two years and an emphasis on the customer over anything else i truly feel like i’ve gotten to know every member of staff in different ways. They take the little extra step to take care of customers, whether it’s walking out your drink, taking you through the menu, coming up with something knew and unique, or having your regular ready to go, they always are trying to make the customers day. This location has been the highlight of my time living here and I am truly sad to leave them behind. Thank you so much to Tian and everyone else on the team! I’m sure i will see you soon!“

Their tea is the best part about this place they all welcome you with nice smiles. And i would come again and again. “This is our favorite neighborhood coffee shop, it’s adorable inside the staff and owner are so sweet and the variety is awesome. My personal favorite is the Lavender Lemon scone, it’s amazing. I love that we have this gem so close to us!“

“I didn't visit this coffee shop before, but I must to say that it is really good. Even though it is not so famous, it has a great service. The location has a large meeting room for facilities meeting for clients.

“The best bagels! I cannot believe that I missed the opening of this location. I just saw a coupon in the community impact magazine, and use it this past weekend. The best bagels I’ve ever had in Texas. I hadbagel lox and cream cheese, and it was the best lox I ever had! Great place!“

“It's great 7Brew Coffee but the music it's too loud and when I asked for receipt either the machines it's not working or just get an attitude about it. I get it it's been outside and dealing with a lot of customers but sometimes we need the receipt. Also when I asked for stickers they say none or something it's not for me it's for my nieces or friends kids. When I asked to scan the bar code from the website they asked for the phone number instead.“
