This is the second location I’ve visited and they have exceptional service. The two young people working there were super friendly. One of them suggested a particular type of tea that end up being so good and I was glad he recommend it Nice and clean with spacious room for you to enjoy coffee and do work if you need to

Based on the reviews, Slowpokes on Memorial is an awesome place that has become a daily ritual for many. The coffee is consistently excellent, fresh, smooth, and never burnt or gritty. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, taking orders with a smile and remembering faces. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and calm, perfect for relaxing, reading a good book, or getting some work done. The drinks are phenomenal, and every order is perfectly crafted. Besides the best coffee in Houston, customers recommend the amazing avocado toast and the breakfast taco. It is a great spot for families, as kids love the lemonade and board games. The place also has great dog bowls outside for the pups. Whether stopping in for a quick drip coffee or a latte, the service is wonderful and quick. Slowpokes has completely ruined other coffee shops, as the hospitality is genuinely rare and makes every visit feel personal and welcoming. It is a third place that customers look forward to coming back to.
