I had already been to the location on Memorial and was curious about this one.
It is much brighter as well as very pretty and welcoming. Love the chill music. The service also is fantastic.
Sam was a great and thoughtful Barista! The Vietnamese coffee was bustin!
I’ve lived at the Remy on the Trails apartments for the last 2 years and been a customer at slowpokes for that time. I’ve been to most of the slowpokes locations and this one truly stands out. With minimal staff turnover over the last two years and an emphasis on the customer over anything else i truly feel like i’ve gotten to know every member of staff in different ways. Slowpokes offers a warm home vibe with music and energy that make guests feel welcome. The staff is the nicest, super kind, super friendly, and always accommodating, making the place feel like a hidden gem. Food is great, with highlights such as the chicken pesto panino, breakfast bagel, Slowpoke, and Cali Sandwich sub spinach wrap. Best coffee and matcha and latte are amazing, while the locally homemade coffee cake is a treat. Atmosphere is relaxing, spacious, and the playlist is good. Customers recommend it 10/10 and enjoy catering for groups, desserts that are spectacular, and hope to return for happy hour.
