“I recently stumbled across embedo. I really enjoyed my time there, it’s spacious, more than enough seating and it’s super clean. The owner is so nice and he continually checks in on you. I enjoyed my iced coffee and bacon, egg, cheese sandwich. I stayed there for a couple of hours and got some work done. I will be visiting again! ?“

“Got real good sweets, had the pistachio milk cake that tasted like a tres leches, and a cappuccino cake that was really good but more so on the sweeter side. Coupled that with a refreshing iced matcha with vanilla and honey, and we were more than satisfied on the desert side of eating.

“Best chatni roll in Houston!! The price is really good and the size is good as well. More importantly the taste is amazing. Have tried their Club Sandwich as well at the owners request and loved it. 1 chatni roll, 1 club sandwich & chai has been my go to order. Have tried their Kashmiri chai once and liked it as well. The tatse is as close to karachi as you can get here.

“After discovering 85° Bakery on a cold, rainy day in Shanghai, it was a joy to see 85° show up in my quest for egg custards.

Everything I have ever tried has been delicious! Excellent lattes and other drinks and baked goods are always fresh and near perfectly baked.

“Let's start with the service was good. The coffee was not. The food was not good either. I've been trying to continuously give this location a chance as we live just down the street. They coffee just does not come out right, and the food seems old or just off most times. Just spent almost 40 on breakfast and coffee and linearly tossed 75% of it in the trash. This is the very last time we will visit this location.“

The passion mango green tea was bitter but in a refreshing way.
The matcha with salted Carmel was tasty, but the matcha was a bit weak.

“I like it. It’s my regular place to get a cold drink. It’s important that if you don’t like your drinks sweet, to say the amount of sugar to add: 25%, 50% or more. The appetizers are good. I usually take dumplings with fries. What I don’t like is that they will pack it for you in a plastic bag and even though you are eating in the place they still put it to go.“
