“Visited for the first time today and had an incredible experience. I wish I could rate it even higher because everything from the service to the drinks to the Cajun fries was top-notch. The sauces and spices on the fries were perfect, the drinks were perfectly sweetened and with generous amounts of tapioca, all reasonably priced. As a picky person, I had some special requests like less strong flavors for the latte that I got and the incredibly nice owner accommodated all of them. Wonderful place that I was missing out on and I’m definitely coming back. Kudos to the owner Brandon for his exceptional service!“

Overall vibe: really good. I tried the brisket sandwich—it was cold inside and a little salty, but the girl made it right and even gave me a muffin with a smile. 🙌

The coffee? Amazing. The service? Amazing. Not everything’s gonna be A1 everywhere you go, but I would definitely come back. The study area is very private, the aura is great, and the energy is on point.

Service was very prompt and seemed to flow seamlessly especially for how busy the drive thru was.
I remember speaking to Bre-(something?) brena? And Ryan (female). I’m horrible with name, and I’m sure my spelling is wrong.. but I wanted to make sure to mention those two ladies for making my morning a little less stressful and for their friendly attitudes while, I’m sure, juggling many things at the time.

“this place has one of the best matchas I’ve had in Houston. Houston is HOTT AFF and this really cooled me down, the matcha is so refreshing and such a gem. I’m not sure how much hype this place has, but it needs more for sure. The service was great, she was really sweet, and a lot of seating, but many students so we had to be really quiet or sit outside. & THEY HAVE PEBBLE ICE SO YUMMY !! Loved it 9.8/10“

“I had the hot Harazi Mufawar and Mom’s Cheese Kunafa. The cardamom in the coffee gives such an interesting flavor. I thought it was delicious. It is served super hot so be prepared to wait at least 10-15 minutes with the top off for it to cool down to a drinkable temperature. The Kunafa was also yum but sweet melty cheese is a new concept for me. It’s large enough that it’s at least a two person piece. The interior is well lit and not loud even though there were several other people in it when I went.“

Additional honorable mentions for their cronuts and Thai tea, which are my absolute favorites. Based off my conversation today with the owner, she told me that they regularly donate leftovers to charities, hospitals, schools, etc., so extra bonus points for active community engagement. Would recommend their halal spicy beef kolache, Thai tea, and cronuts. An absolute gem of a small business in the community!“

From my recollection growing up here, when they arrived they were the first to offer different flavored matchas here.
You have to get banana pudding matcha. And order extra pudding. Pay the difference it’s worthhhhh!

Oh and the strawberry matcha is bomb! So so good. Also I like to order extra puree.

My two favorite baristas so far were Cynthia and Megan.

They are so friendly and don’t break a sweat even with a constantly busy store.

“Happy Lemon delivered! I was extremely happy with my drink. I ordered a mango matcha smoothie with boba, and I fell in love! The employees were kind and offered a suggestion for me since it was my first time. They also made the drink quite quickly so that I only waited about three minutes.
Even though I didn’t start long, they have a great selection of card and board games that peoples can play with. Inside they also have a claw machine that you could win cute stuffed animal prizes from!

The service was a little slow compared to other locations, but that's probably due to how busy they were (there were about 6-8 people getting drinks at a time).
