“Amazing location and staff. I’m still fairly new to DB’s, but I tried the new Cookie Butter Latte Iced and was notttt disappointed. I’m a baker, so flavors are a big must when it comes to sweets. I absolutely love cookie butter, with Lotus being my fav and this was very similar to their very own if not the same. I went on Friday and again on Saturday, but took my daughter and niece with me. My daughter loves the Picture Perfect and my niece tried them for the first time, getting the birthday cake shake. I will be frequenting here more often now that I live down the street!“

But I know they have different brew methods and I saw them brew coffee in a very different way for two customers that were there. Definitely want to go back and try those.“

“I’ve lived at the Remy on the Trails apartments for the last 2 years and been a customer at slowpokes for that time. I’ve been to most of the slowpokes locations and this one truly stands out. With minimal staff turnover over the last two years and an emphasis on the customer over anything else i truly feel like i’ve gotten to know every member of staff in different ways. They take the little extra step to take care of customers, whether it’s walking out your drink, taking you through the menu, coming up with something knew and unique, or having your regular ready to go, they always are trying to make the customers day. I come here at least 4–5 times a week, and it has truly become part of my routine. The coffee quality is always excellent fresh, smooth, and consistent every single time.
What makes this place special for me is the staff. They are always kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which makes every visit feel comfortable.
The atmosphere is also very cozy and calm perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. And I have to mention, their avocado toast is absolutely amazing! I’m really happy I found this place and highly recommend it.“

“Visited for the first time today and had an incredible experience. I wish I could rate it even higher because everything from the service to the drinks to the Cajun fries was top-notch. The sauces and spices on the fries were perfect, the drinks were perfectly sweetened and with generous amounts of tapioca, all reasonably priced. As a picky person, I had some special requests like less strong flavors for the latte that I got and the incredibly nice owner accommodated all of them. Overall vibe: really good. I tried the brisket sandwich—it was cold inside and a little salty, but the girl made it right and even gave me a muffin with a smile. 🙌

The coffee? Amazing. The service? Amazing. Not everything’s gonna be A1 everywhere you go, but I would definitely come back. The study area is very private, the aura is great, and the energy is on point.

“We went on a Saturday morning and it was pretty quiet, which made for a really nice atmosphere to catch up with a friend. The staff was friendly, and the barista was especially helpful with suggestions and specials.

The space was clean throughout, including the washrooms, and I liked that they had books and board games available. They also have a drive-thru, which is convenient.

We ordered the spicy burrito and an iced matcha, and both were really good. Everything we tried was delicious, and I appreciated that they offer a variety of drinks beyond just coffee.

I was a little surprised by the pricing since it was closer to the bigger chain coffee spots. I originally expected more of a small neighborhood coffee shop vibe, so that may have just been my assumption. Even so, I’d definitely come back as it’s a great place to relax, chat with friends, and enjoy a good variety of food and drinks.“

“We loved visiting here. They have a variety of flavor for cold foams and they are all very tasty.

However, we recently noticed an inconsistency in the quality of the cold foams. Some days we got our orders with cold foams “melting” away in the coffee, or with very little flavors. It was disappointing because we know how good it tasted before.

We hope this situation improves soon. This is one of the best coffee places we have in the area and we love going here.“
