About Slowpokes

Slowpokes is a coffee shop known for its welcoming and fun atmosphere that is not over the top. Since 2016, the establishment has been serving customers a great selection of food and drinks, including the popular Purple Rain, Slowpokes wrap, and delicious craft sandwiches like the BST. Customers appreciate the consistently excellent coffee and the warm, inviting vibe. The shop has plenty of seating, although most chairs are fixed without backs, which can make long stays a bit uncomfortable. For those looking to work remotely, there are booths in the back that are perfect for settling in.

Slowpokes provides a comfortable environment for studying, working, or enjoying a peaceful lunch, with fast Wi-Fi and friendly baristas. While service can sometimes be slow, especially during busy hours, the overall ambiance remains relaxed and friendly. The inside is cute with lots of seating, including a few tables with benches that offer back support. Customers enjoy the best almond croissant ever, warmed up to perfection, and there are even board games for those who plan to stay for a while. With its inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel like family, Slowpokes is a highly recommended spot for coffee, study sessions, or just hanging out.

Stopped by and ordered the with love and honey pea. Super delicious! Thank you for being incredibly kind!
The Slowpokes on Stella Link is really great. Good variety of coffee that changes with the seasons, lots of tasty snacks, and a good space for both studying and socializing. I’ve been going for about 2 years now; the severs/ baristas are always friendly (especially Jake and Glory) and make sure I’m comfortable.
Nice neighborhood place for premium coffee and excellent breakfast tacos.

Some of the menu prices are stupid though. $4.75 for a single cup of tea that was served boiling lava hot. Yeesh. Give me a small pot for that price! And mind the temperature if you’re charging that much! Or at least free refills.

Some menu items are much more reasonable like the baked goods and tacos, but dang those drink prices are wild.
