So clearly, they don’t pay me to advertise & they don’t have to because I come here whenever I’m downtown for anything. I call ahead and take it to Katy.

I know this place before it was here. Before, it was across the street.

These peeps are legit. Just come here and you won’t be disappointed. This is my staple go to is the anything really.

“Flavors were very good and balanced. The umami and spice were perfect. The veggies were fresh and crunchy. The silken tofu was sooooo good. Crispy outside with enough salt. The shaked wagyu was cooked perfectly and the lime was such a good addition. The lemongrass tasted very fresh.

The ambiance was perfect. It's not too loud so you can actually hear your mealmates.

The prices are a bit high, but the build out is very pretty.

“Glad I came across this Viet-Cajun fusion place as a social media recommendation. The flavors offered and value were exceptional, and we had a great experience with food, service and atmosphere. I think most customers are probably local from Westchase but this place deserves way more publicity.

We ordered the hush puppies, Bo luc lac/shaking beef with fried rice, honey lemon pepper wings, and Southside Cajun pasta with shrimp. I always thought I didn’t like hush puppies because they’re usually so bready but these were the best I’ve ever had. Kind of like a honey biscuit + cornbread combo with an incredible crispy buttery texture.

The server let us know about the 10 for $10 wing deal, awesome, and the wings were insane! Crisp, flavorful, never got soggy. Need to try the regular lemon pep next. The pasta and shaking beef were both perfect and hit the spot.“

“The most delicious Com Tam Dac Biet. Had it with pork belly. Meatloaf surpassed all others I've had thus far, so rich and perfectly steamed. Exceptionally kind service and one of a kind crafted products. Those yogurts hit so hard! We had the durian and sweet rice and the aloe and sweet rice ones. Will definitely come back to this place.“

“We are previously customers of the Deer Park location. The food is right on par with the other location. It is consistently delicious. “I came here with my friends and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was and how warm and welcoming the service was. The owner and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. They even offered complimentary sweet soup for customers, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture.

“Lac the manager i think it's so accommodating so sweet. So kind, this is by far the one of the best korean restaurants in the houston area. I only take my good friends here. “Arrived after 1pm and it’s was quiet, still have take out order customer. Ordered the spicy noodles “bún bò Huế” and it’s excellent, the best I have in Houston (better than the one in Bellaire). Taste and looks like the one my brother in law cook. The place is clean, organized. The service from the woman and the elderly man make me feel like I’m in a full service restaurant. They’re friendly and looks happy to be there. Would definitely go back.“

“Stopped in for the first time today and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the Pork Banh Mi and shrimp eggrolls to-go and everything was excellent. I was in a rush, and they had my food out fast. The banh mi was incredible—tender grilled pork and perfectly crisp, soft bread. The place looks simple from the street but is clean and welcoming inside. “This place has great food, great teas and great coffee. Very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. I’m a regular, I have tried everything on the menu as far as food and working on the drink menu. So far everything is good and the price is fair. The staff is incredibly friendly, Ashley, Ruby and Thuy and the male barista have always taken good care of my family and I, and our orders are always correct. Even when we get a bit picky on certain items and how we want them. They always accommodate us. This is a great place. I’m usually always on the go so I don’t stay, but place is very nice and calm. “First time trying this place based on an article I saw from Eatery and it did not disappoint! It was so satisfying that I decided to write this 5 star review right away. I got the banh mi thit nuong (bbq pork baguette) and the seasoning was just right with a slight buttery taste on the baguette. The baguette was soft and fluffy yet still maintained a little crispiness on the outside but not to where it will injure the upper roof of your mouth. Anyway the banh mi thit nuong reminds me of this other place I used to love but stopped going there because quality went down. Glad I tried this place and this will be my go-to banh mi shop from now on! I will definitely be back to try the other banh mi! I hope they maintain their quality!“

“We always love our late night eats at Mony’s anytime we’re in midtown. Fresh quality ingredients, best sauce and cheese around just makes the pizza great. Large menu with all the Italian pasta specials, and now serves breakfast and large range of desserts, too. You’ll never leave hungry. Great service. Maria and Joe make it a point to greet you as friends, and tell you about the new recipes. So glad I’ve got leftovers to enjoy it again tomorrow!! A+ family owned and operated.“

“The best banh mi I’ve ever had. Bread was perfectly crispy and soft and all the ingredients came together beautifully and were fresh and flavorful. The beef pho and chicken rice plate were also delicious. Owner was attentive and friendly. Not to mention the prices were amazing! “Tai Kee is one of those places where you can tell the food speaks louder than the decor. Family-owned, welcoming, and honestly some of the best comfort food I’ve had in a while. I heard their fried rice is packed with flavor and the pho is rich and comforting. My fam had the egg noodles which are definitely a must-try! I had the vermicelli noods with the beef and it was great!

Their moon cake is 🔥the tarot is very soft and very moist but you have to eat it the day of!

“My parents have been going to the same pho place for 15 years. I finally got them to try this place and they are officially switching over.

The eggs rolls are homemade, and large - crisp, fresh, amazing.

The shrimp paste noodles were delicious and the oxtail pho was phenomenally flavorful and the banh xeo was the size of my torso and crunchy and addicting.
the herbs were fresh and varied and the coffee the best I’ve had in a long time; not too sweet and perfectly balanced.

My picky ass parents loved it and that says a lot. My family is difficult as hell and yet we all stopped arguing for 30 blissful minutes as we gorged and groaned with delight.

The service is attentive, yet non intrusive, with the perceptiveness a Jedi.
