“I was in the mood for some Vietnamese cuisine. I actually enjoy the flavors and how the food makes me feel happy afterwards. This place was convienently close, and I got a nice rice noodle bowl with steak and veggie and a drink. It was not gourmet, but it came with a drink and egg roll so I was happy. They had a choice of interesting juices and sodas, I had an adventure that will keep me coming back to try more dishes on the menu. The place was small but I've been here twice and I am satisfied with the food.“
“Always quality service and Great food. I usually order to go with them on the beyond menu app and food is always ready on time. I have been going here several years and never had an issue with my order, or the service. Highly recommend,Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and no issues on rice noodle dish, rice, steamed veges.Parking: Plenty of parking available always,“
“This restaurant is amazing. I am from Dallas and took my girlfriend here because we wanted Italian food. When we came inside, the owners were very kind and inviting. We got the small Mony appetizer (comes with 4 wings, breadsticks, and 4 fried ravioli’s), Giant slice of Mony’s, Giant slice of Margarita Pizza, and a plate of Tortellini framaggio with alfredo sauce. The appetizers and everything was great! The pizza I posted was the margarita pizza, and as you can see, they are HUGE. The Mony pizza slice was just as big and tasted AMAZING. Al of it was so good, I have no bad views. The sprite and water was also refreshing. We will definitely be coming back and telling friends about Mony’s Pizza and Italian Kitchen!“
“The food here is usually very good, and we do take out a lot. I love the banh mi and the chargrilled pork with vermicelli. The soup is inconsistent. Sometimes there is more liquid than stock in the soup and it’s not very hearty. But when it’s good, it’s really good.“
“Quintessential. Iconic. Been eating here for over a decade and I always order the same thing (duck salad, tofu stir fry with coconut curry, and bo luc lac). Pro tip: it's BYOB, so grab a bottle from the convenience store at the corner.Parking: Very difficult to park in the lot, and watch out for spots that tow.“
“Really an amazing place. I got the shaking chicken banh mi with french fries. I honestly can't say I've had a better banh mi in my life. The bread was soft, the shaking chicken was savory and perfect. The fries looked double fried and tasted amazing. Staff make you feel at home, and there's a huge selection of on tap beers. Will definitely return.“
“As a die hard carnivore, I surprisingly enjoyed eating here. It’s a pretty small restaurant. They sell some groceries and have coolers of vegetarian items for sale. The bun bo hue was very flavorful. I would come back to try some other items on the menu. There’s plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly.“
“Cute little restaurant. I ordered online and my food was ready before the eta! The lady who took care of me was very sweet and welcoming. My food…. Absolutely delicious and refreshing. I asked for chili oil to go with my meal bc its a MUST! They did not cheap out! Go try them out! Affordable and delicious fresh food!“
“Excellent clear, flavorful, hot and tasty broth. The beef was so tender and delicious. The tendon was soft and high quality. Beautiful restaurant. Service was quick. Summer rolls were also really good and the sauce they came with was something special. Great food. Would definitely recommend.“
“The space is small but very clean, bright, and welcoming. I had the meatball bahn mi with pate which was excellent. The meatball was tender, the toppings were fresh, and the baguette was light and crispy, not chewy at all. Will definitely be back!“
“This place makes geat pho and is very reasonably priced! Bright, clean happy interior in a lesser-maintained older building. The parking lot is a disaster...BUT!!The food? Gorgeous, fresh vegetables, excellent hot tea, very nice noodle bowls and great, smiling service!??Lots of pretty pictures of their offerings already, so I didn't take any.My vermicelli soup, with chicken and delicious 'shrimp balls' was outta sight.Recommended!!“
“I've been in about 6times over the past 4months. Each visit be it dine in or to go has always been a good experience. From walking in the door and being promptly greeted, seated in a timely manner and checked on throughout my meals. Recommended dishes have come through each time! My only issue is that parking can be a little tight at times but otherwise if you're wanting a good Vietnamese place, check them out.“
“Xeo Yum has been on my list since it opened, along with other shops in the newly opened food court. My husband and I were fortunate to come here during the restaurant week! There are only a few bar seats, but there are so many tables within the food court to sit at as well. We ordered one restaurant week 25$ deal for mini Banh Xeo (small Vietnamese savory crepe) + Fried Salmon. And a Bo Ne (sizzling steak with egg) + 2 egg rolls. The flavors were terrific!!! I am not Vietnamese, but this is 500% the flavor you would experience in Asia. Even the pate with mayo pairs so well with baguette. Steak is both sweet and savory. Fried fish is even excellent! It was crispy outside, but inside, it was half-done. It reminded me of a smoked salmon. The size of mini Banh Xeo is sufficient for me and my husband to share. The regular-size Banh Xeo was made with a 13'' pan, which is super huge! The crispy crepe has a shrimp-like savory flavor, which feels super Vietnamese. The egg roll size was ok, but it was FULL OFF SHRIMPS! I loved everything here. Most importantly, the chef here loves cooking. I was surprised to get so many delicious foods with big portions for only $50. We will come back! The only downside is that there's only a little parking space at this food court; we ended up parking at another food plaza.“
“Mama Mia is a hidden gem!! I loved the Strawberry Mochi waffle, which was made fresh to order and came out so warm and delicious with a crisp edge and a nice, chewy, soft center! The Pandan Mochi waffle was also tasty, but I surprisingly favored the strawberry waffle a little more. I also ordered a Dalonga coffee which was strong, thick like a milkshake, not too sweet with a nice creamy top. They also have a sugarcane machine and make sugarcane juices (just like I remembered how they made it fresh in Hawaii)- will for sure make note to try this next time. The owner is such a kind lady, and this family owned business makes for the best customer service! The place itself is a quaint little spot in a busy strip center in West U. If you check in on Yelp, you can get 15% off your tab! I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again!“
“I just have to say that this is the best pho I've had in a while! Even without all the ingredients it was still so flavorful. The meat was very tender. My brother even asked me where I got it from and had to take a note of it because it was that good.I placed my order online and it was ready within 15 minutes.“
“Try Shaken Beef / Crunchy Garlic Shrimp / Black Pepper Steak / G7 Grilled Pork & Eggroll Vermecilli. Banana Smoothie = Best (can try others). Desserts = Truffle Cake = OK, their most popular (hard pound cake & thick icing). Try Mouse.“
“I have been a customer for years and haven’t been in a while due to some construction that is finally finished and I honestly was so happy to be back! The family oriented restaurant is a 5 star in my book! Everything is always soo fresh and delicious! Best Pho in town!!“
“I ordered their lemon pepper wings and they were crispy, their special chopped ribeye box was a delightful treat to have, and their banh mi sandwich was soft and tender. Their background music and the scenery with their kind staff added to their good food.“
“Five stars! Incredible Pho and Creative Cocktails at Moon Rabbit! This place is a hidden gem! My wife, two friends, and I recently dined at Moon Rabbit and were blown away by both the food and the drinks.Phenomenal Pho: The pho is some of the best I've ever had. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients...and the portion sizes are generous!Creative Cocktails: But Moon Rabbit isn't just about the pho. They also have a fantastic cocktail menu with unique and inventive drinks. I tried the El Tigre, and it was delicious and refreshing with a little peppery kick.Overall Impression: The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes and drinks.Highly Recommend: If you're looking for an amazing pho experience with creative cocktails to match, then Moon Rabbit is the place to go. I highly recommend it!“
“We just picked up lunch from here, first time. I believe it was the owner that greeted us and took our order. He was very helpful with the menu. We ordered the TKO and Tofu Enoki sandwiches as well as the egg rolls and Mr. Viets coffee. Everything was so good and fresh!!! Both sandwiches were flavorful and cooked perfectly! The egg rolls were homemade and you could taste it! Also the price was great! Much better deal than most bahn mi places in Houston. Will return! 10/10“
“The motif was a little too modern for my tastes. When eating traditional Vietnamese food, is it too much to ask that the atmosphere at least suggest the culture? The service was excellent and the food was decent, but I prefer culture over modern cuisine.“
“It’s my first time ordering from here and they really care about their customers. I ordered a tofu banh mi, and the texture of the tofu and the bread was good. I appreciate them following my instructions on not adding jalapeños, because most other banh mi places forget (thank you!). My husband ordered a bbq pork banh mi and the style of the sandwich was different than what he’s used to, but he still ate it all. If you’re looking for an affordable quick bite, checkout this place ?“
“This restaurant is all around great! The food is awesome, the service is excellent, always friendly and fast. They also stay open late as well, and they have their own crafted drinks too. This is a must stop if you like good Vietnamese food.“
“Thought I try Pho Dien since there were pretty good reviews for it. Went on a Sunday before noon it was busy and there was a 10 min wait. Overall I thought it was just ok, the broth wasn’t that flavorful, was abit disappointment but manage to finish my bowl. Hubby and kids thought the same thing it was Meh.“
“Love this place! - plenty of parking!Wait - we’ve only had to wait once and go here several times a month. They move quickly :) - the staff is very attentive and has always been great, but we have seen extra great service since the start of 2024!Food - food is hot, tasty, and comes out quick! And for the price, you can’t beat it. Love their pho! stars. A go to place!“
“I've been coming here for years and every time I have enjoyed there food. This is a vegetarian restaurant and it one of the ones I recommend to people to try. My favorite dish is the Saigon chicken. ? It's the one I always order, along with the chicken fried steak. The fried dumplings are very good as well. They are pretty big, just to let you guys know. The establishment is a little hole in the wall, but the food makes up for it. The only problem is the service, the waiter that attend my mom and I had a "I don't care" kind of attitude. Didn't care for it ?, but the owner is fairly nice. If you can overlook some of these flaws, do try the place for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the food ?♥️Vegetarian options: All there options are vegetarian. So happy my parents found this place. ?“
“I work in a building nearby and have been coming here for a couple of years now and every thing I've had is really good. I've had the pho, Bahn mi, fried rice, egg rolls, omelets but my favorite is the shrimp vermicelli salad, it's so fresh and delicious.“
“I really enjoyed this restaurant. I saw it on IG and it did not disappoint at all! The shaking beef was so good! 10/10. The egg rolls contained pork and shrimp but they also was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. This is def a Houston gem! I normally don’t take the time out to do a review unless it was really great across the board and this place was!“
“Me and my gf have been skipping around all of Houston trying to find a good spot for Pho. I was recommended this place by a close friend. First off the prices are so good for the amount of food you get and quality. The Pho broth has such good flavor compared to everywhere else I’ve tried. The amount of meat that comes with it as well is very generous. It’s very clean and cozy as well! I really can’t explain just how good the broth is but when comparing it to the previous 5 spots we’ve tried it’s an insanely huge difference. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try Pho or anything Viet for that matter. It’s priced well, amazing quality and great quantities. Solid 5 stars for me.“
“I truly enjoy the dining experience here. The food is fantastic and an elevated expression of Vietnamese food. My favorites are the snow mushrooms, braised pork belly and the banh xeo. The cocktail menu is creative and has many options worth trying out.“
“This place gets very busy so the wait was a bit long. I ordered bun rieu and bun bo hue to-go. Good portion and only $6.50. However, it felt like they just completely forgot my order because I was waiting for a long time. I mean it was to-go? So all you have to do is prepare it as in put all the food in the containers. I got a little annoyed because people who came in after me got their food first. Don't know if they pre-ordered beforehand but it was a few times before I finally went up and ask where is my food.Anyways, for a vegetarian dish, it was flavored nicely and I think people who doesn't like vegetarian food will enjoy it too. Plus it's healthy. You can taste a lot of tomatoes in the broth, almost a little sour to me. The bun bo hue was interesting, definitely not your usual bun bo hue.“
“Awesome, young and energetic ambience with amazing and delicious food. Prices were perfect for such huge and well prepared portions that had many different ingredients alongside amazing presentation and service. Wowed for our visit to Houston by finding this place.“
“I had the roasted pork banh mi and my wife had beef pho. We shared spring rolls and each got a nice drink (citrus tea with lemongrass for me, Vietnamese coffee for the wife). The food was excellent and the lady serving us was incredibly sweet and cheerful! We cannot wait to come back!“
“I felt absolutely welcomed when I walked in. I ordered salt and pepper tofu/ pickled cucumbers and a cold mixed meat bahn mi. The tofu was soft, but crispy. A ton of flavor plus the amount of veggies (onion/ garlic/ green onion) was great. The pickled cucumbers had me wanting more after I finished them. They had such great flavor, but also that nice crisp that comes with fresh vegetables. The bahn mi was exploding with flavor and was hot when it came out. I was greet by such a sweet lady and the chef came out to make sure my order was right and that I was enjoying it. This is for sure a weekly spot that we’ll come back to from now on.“
“My favorite banh cuon place of all time! The bun rieu oc is also soooo good. The oc is always so tender! The flavors here are really good, and really inexpensive. The owner is so friendly, and this place is cash only, so remember that when you come! It's a must try!“
“The food matches the vibe! The color, texture and presentation are on point. All this while still achieving authenticity. It was delicious ?I'm literally Raving y'all! And it's open late!♤♡◇♧Kid-friendliness: Family oriented atmosphere ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and wide for door available.“
“My daughter asked me to take her to lunch there, so we went. We LOVED IT. I liked it so much, 2 weeks later I took my wife and she loved it too! We split a beef noodle bowl, forgot the name. It was so big we took 1/3 of it home too. Place is so good we also took 3 pork sandwiches home with us.“
“The pho at this place is simply delightful, truly the highlight of my trip. The broth is exceptional, brimming with rich flavor, and paired perfectly with the impeccably cooked smaller noodles. The brisket was tender and fresh, while the meatballs added a crunchy burst of flavor. Adding the meats used in the broth for just a few extra dollars truly elevated the experience. Although I didn't have a chance to try other items on the menu, I'll definitely do so next time. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff efficiently handled orders and kept tables clean. Passing by Pho Sappa on my last day in Houston, I was tempted to indulge again, but with a flight looming, I had to resist. If you find yourself in the area, don't hesitate to visit this Pho restaurant - it's a must-try! Highly recommended!“
“This is legit Vietnamese food. The space is huge. Service was actually great for an Asian restaurant. The banh xeo is ginormous. The banh cuon, pho and bun bo hue were all very flavorful. We didn’t have a bad dish at all. All the portions are so large. We had a lot of leftover. The prices are very reasonable too. The food came out SO quickly. Plenty of parking available. I came back a week later and will be back again. My only complaint are the napkins. They are the worst napkins any restaurant can have. They’re so thin and small it takes about 5 napkins for 1 wipe.“
“I’ve only ever ordered from Uber Eats. I live a couple miles away, the food is usually still hot when it gets here, unless another order is dropped off first. Most everything is great and consistent.I give them 4 stars because of their fried rice. First time trying the fried rice it was very plain. No veggies, very little fried egg, but plenty of protein. It was a Saturday, and assumed I’d accidentally gotten a modified order because of how plain it was. Still ate it, just added extras myself.Just ordered it again, and same thing. Under seasoned rice, few small pieces of fried egg, no veggies but a lot of shrimp.“
“This small little restaurant may need updating but the service and food is wonderful! The waiter is polite and efficient. The food is superb! The extra large Vietnamese egg rolls are the best ever! Try the pork broth with whatever you want in it and you will not be disappointed it is so flavorful. I had egg noodle, wontons, roast pork, and shrimp. The rice plate with grilled beef is also excellent. Everything was fresh and flavorful! Will definitely return when back in the area.“
“Ok. I am not a fan of crawfish at all so I didn't think much of it. People constantly ordered from this place as I sat with my mom eating some crabs so my mom asked if we should try it. Why not? We wanted to order 1lb but the guy said 2lbs minimum so ok! We got 2lbs...I am so glad we did because it was so fresh and big. I really enjoyed it. The flavor was on point. It was so good we got like 2-3 more lbs. I believe if you buy 5lbs, you get one free. Great deal! If you're in Bellaire, Houston TX right now, make sure to drop by this place!! So good!!! Right now, they have jumbo size avail. Get some while it's avail. Thank you Nick! Super good! Nick was also a very kind human being. Great customer service!“
“Hard to believe I have never posted a review for the very BEST (in my opinion don’t shoot the messenger) Pho place in the H!!!!! The Vietnamese spring rolls are literally beautiful and taste absolutely amazing!!!! And IYKYK it’s ALL about the broth and theirs is to die for!!!! You can tell from the way it smells that it’s going to be amazing!!!!! I normally get the old Saigon spring rolls and the Shrimp Pho!!!I have never come in and had a bad experience with the waitstaff they are so nice and move quickly! You can tell things are made with care! The atmosphere is also very cozy and inviting! If there is room you can sit anywhere and don’t be surprised if you have ended up staying a while lol!To top it all off, who give you a free dessert?! They do and I love my little creme brûlée spoon at the end of my meal!!!Don’t walk….run!!!!“
“This place is family owned and operated. The lady at the register is nice and friendly. This is my go to place for lunch since it’s located in the 1st floor of the building I work at. I typically order their 1) hamburger with fries, 2) 6 hot & sour wings with either fries or rice, 3) kung pow chicken, and 4) Vietnamese pork sandwich with fries. Give this place a try!!I had a special request to add the ketchup on the fries just to save another container.“
“Authentic delicious Vietnamese food. The menu is only in Vietnamese so we ordered using the food pictures online (Google and Yelp). We got the pork combo, curry seafood udon? (Not spicy), and the congee.Out toddlers liked the udon and congee. Strong Vietnamese coffee as well!Highly recommend and would come back again!“
“Found this place from recs on chow down in Chinatown fb group! Randomly craved a solid banh mi and I usually go to dons- but didn't have cash on me.It's a small place, noticed everyone usually opted for to go/pick up orders. I really enjoyed my meal! The bread was so good - just the right amount of crisp on the outside yet soft and warm inside. Tasted very fresh. Can't wait to come back! Great spot for a quick and affordable lunch“
“Amazing vegetarian Vietnames cuisine, with a wide variety of family-style dishes. The Canh Chua is exceptional, so well-balanced between sweet and sour, with a hugh kick. The Five Spice Pork is super crunchy and flavorful, truly a masterpiece. Other dishes are wonderful as well. Pricings can be quite high, but it's worth every penny. The restaurant is quite small but it has fastinating decor, with a zen kind of atmosphere. Staff is welcoming and courteous.“
“Has been my favorite for years, and I would always introduce my favorite restaurant to many others.Yesterday, we had the WORST wait experience once at tableNO APOLOGIES, AND YES TIP WAS INCLUDED BECAUSE WE ALWAYS BRING SEVERALIt is not the first time this has happened,Hispanics DO NOT get the best service there.“
