It took about 15 minutes. The brisket was as thin as receipt paper, the sausage was cheap. Lemonade was awful!! BBQ sauce was bland! I don’t know what happened between the sandwich I had and the food I walked in to order. I’ll stick to Burns BBQ in Acres Homes…especially when it comes to flavor!“

Persian and all kinds of Mediterranean food are always my top three choices.
I am surprised that I missed Reza all this time.
This time, we picked up because of the weekdays (late work hours), but I usually like to sit down at the restaurant and enjoy my food coming straight from the kitchen to my table.
We decided to order a family tray (all kinds of kabobs) for 4 people. I also ordered my favorite Mast-e-khair (yogurt with cucumbers).
We asked for sherazi salad and other sides, but our wonderful hostess Jennifer and Sheema told us this order comes with side dishes, including rice and bread.
I like their smiles and kind gestures.
When they told me the total price, I was shocked; it was so affordable for 4 people, and the serving sizes are huge.
We are very happy to have found a place like Reza Persian Grill, with delicious food, kind service, and great prices--highly recommended, and with a big parking lot.“

As a competition bbq pitmaster, I am very picky. You get 8oz of meat/ or stuffed baked potato, 2 sides, a dessert and drink.
Brisket was really good!!! MacNCheese could have used a bit of spice, the beans were good… Those pickles were on another level I would buy a jar of them!!! Banana Pudding was top notch also, I was really impressed

“I've ordered via Too Good To Go, just letting you know it was a pickup order, let's begin.

I ordered a Cajun Surprise Plate 🍽: 2 piece fish and fries 🍟. The fish had Cajun seasoning and was nicely seasoned, and had a nice crunch to it too.

The fries 🍟 were alright, but nothing special.

It's a nice place for a quick lunch, so yeah, I would recommend it for lunch.

“The grilled chicken wrap was honestly better than the Texans game tonight. I am clearly the whole package, so a smart, cute guy should reach out before someone else realizes what they are missing. I am usually at the bar, and I am definitely the best thing here.“

“This place has several unique dishes that are hard to find anywhere else in Houston. My favorites were the grilled stone egg and the chicken soup tofu skewers. They also have lamb offal soup, which I haven’t tried yet, but I’ll definitely come back for it next time.

The Malatang was another pleasant surprise. It really reminds me of the flavors from Northeast China. While I wouldn’t say it’s the absolute best Malatang I’ve ever had, it’s definitely far above the average standard in Houston and is well worth trying.

One small suggestion: the shredded tofu was a little on the sweet side for my taste, so I’d recommend asking for extra chili oil if you prefer a spicier flavor.

I was also excited to see that they serve grilled cold noodles (Kao Leng Mian), which are not easy to find here. Overall, this is a restaurant I’d definitely recommend, and I’ll absolutely be coming back.“

I would give it a 5 Star my only complaint is that they take your tip money automatically from the total bill. I don’t remember it ever being like that before. “Good afternoon everyone! We attended Gen Korean BBQ House in Houston, Tx on Friday 7/5/2023. My family And I were in for a visit from Louisiana and decided to eat here for a couple of reasons; Reason 1: My daughter and I have a very severe allergy to Iodine/Seafood so we're very very limited to what we can eat but with Korean BBQ we can pick out meats and safely cook it on a grill that hasn't been exposed to any seafood products! Reason 2: We don't have very many, if any Korean BBQ spots in Lake Charles, La and we absolutely love this food. So we chose to go to Gen Korean BBQ but to our surprise our hostess/waitress was Extremely rude! not just once or twice but, throughout the whole dining experience! My fiance requested another waiter or waitress after speaking to the manager but nothing was done besides him saying he would speak to the rude waitress, that's unacceptable so we quietly left! I'm not sure if she was having a bad night or this is generally how she acts but where I'm from this is not acceptable and speaks volumes about her character!“
