“Worth the wait! We arrived about 15 minutes before opening and joined the line. The line was almost an hour to get inside, but once we did, we were greeted by friendly staff and a handwritten daily menu. The staff offered samples and cuts of fresh brisket as we moved through to order. We tried a little bit of everything, and it was outstanding. My wife loved the sides (served family-style for sharing), and I loved the ribs and brisket. This is a must-do if you love barbecue and are in Houston!“

It took about 15 minutes. The brisket was as thin as receipt paper, the sausage was cheap. Lemonade was awful!! BBQ sauce was bland! I don’t know what happened between the sandwich I had and the food I walked in to order. I’ll stick to Burns BBQ in Acres Homes…especially when it comes to flavor!“

“First stop off the plane, was on the fence on either @fegesbbq or another spot. I saw carrot cake on the menu and that was the ultimate decider. This is my first time here and was surprised to walk into a food court. I’m a sucker for sliced pork belly. The immediate hit of the sweetness that comes off the pork and the taste of smoke. Between bites of the spicy jack cheese sausage that balanced the spiced with the simple is best fight in my mouth. Such a nice and smokey brisket melted into my mouth and into my soul. Btw a wonderful dark crunchy bark. Makes me miss being in TX. Between these fatty smoked meats, the elote corn salad was a nice acidic and refreshing bite. And in the end the thing that made me want to come here. The carrot cake! So moist!!! best carrot cake I’ve had? Idk, but I cant think of anything else right now. All this in the last place I expected . . . a food court of all locations. After my meal, definitely I agree with their shirt of being the best food court barbecue in TX . . . heck the US. Even without falling in that niche category, it was a delicious meal.“

“My late wife and I have been to both locations of brisket House barbecue. They are located on Woodway in Houston and on Cypress Creek Parkway near FM 1960. I have not been to this location in years since my wife passed away. My brother and I decided to go out to eat Monday, August 11 at the Woodway location. They did not disappoint. The food was great and the young lady that assisted us was very sweet. I hope to return soon.“

“Good afternoon everyone! We attended Gen Korean BBQ House in Houston, Tx on Friday 7/5/2023. My family And I were in for a visit from Louisiana and decided to eat here for a couple of reasons; Reason 1: My daughter and I have a very severe allergy to Iodine/Seafood so we're very very limited to what we can eat but with Korean BBQ we can pick out meats and safely cook it on a grill that hasn't been exposed to any seafood products! Reason 2: We don't have very many, if any Korean BBQ spots in Lake Charles, La and we absolutely love this food. So we chose to go to Gen Korean BBQ but to our surprise our hostess/waitress was Extremely rude! not just once or twice but, throughout the whole dining experience! My fiance requested another waiter or waitress after speaking to the manager but nothing was done besides him saying he would speak to the rude waitress, that's unacceptable so we quietly left! I'm not sure if she was having a bad night or this is generally how she acts but where I'm from this is not acceptable and speaks volumes about her character!“
