“Worth the wait! We arrived about 15 minutes before opening and joined the line. The line was almost an hour to get inside, but once we did, we were greeted by friendly staff and a handwritten daily menu. The staff offered samples and cuts of fresh brisket as we moved through to order. We tried a little bit of everything, and it was outstanding. My wife loved the sides (served family-style for sharing), and I loved the ribs and brisket. This is a must-do if you love barbecue and are in Houston!“

“We stopped in over the weekend for a late lunch, low-key celebrating my birthday. We had a little bit of everything and all of the food was AMAZING. I am not even a "ribs person" but loved theirs. the garlic sausage? Phenomenal. All of the meats: Brisket, chicken, sausage, pulled pork, smoked turkey - delicious. Great sauce. And all of the sides were bomb; we had mac & cheese, potato salad, and cream corn. My husband doesn't even like corn and we were sparring with our spoons over the last bites. On top of it, they have great stuff in the general store. We've found a new spot to bring our out of town visitors to come and try a taste of the best Houston had to offer!“

“Someone brought me a brisket sandwich for lunch and it was pretty good. I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon. Was 1 person in front of me, ordered the sausage and brisket plate. It took about 15 minutes. The brisket was as thin as receipt paper, the sausage was cheap. Lemonade was awful!! BBQ sauce was bland! I don’t know what happened between the sandwich I had and the food I walked in to order. I’ll stick to Burns BBQ in Acres Homes…especially when it comes to flavor!“

“Mad Max All Purpose Seasoning is the best. The 1st time I used it was Thanksgiving for my turkey and I'm not crazy about turkey but it was so tender and good. You got to get the spicy seasoning and put it on your chicken and it is finger licking good“

“Feges serves Free BBQ to Veterans on Friday’s so I came to check it out.
As a competition bbq pitmaster, I am very picky. You get 8oz of meat/ or stuffed baked potato, 2 sides, a dessert and drink.
Brisket was really good!!! MacNCheese could have used a bit of spice, the beans were good… Those pickles were on another level I would buy a jar of them!!! Banana Pudding was top notch also, I was really impressed
Service was excellent and friendly!!! I have to say and I don’t say this often I would pay to eat here, and that says a lot!!!

“We came over the summer to tour the school and check out the local scene. We found What It Do BBQ and we’re glad we did. We had the Ribs, the Candy Wings and the Brisket Sandwich. I couldn’t say what we liked best. The ribs were fall off the bone, the wings had just the right amount of kick and the brisket sandwich was just right, it was all delicious. My kid says she will be coming here on the regular when she starts school at UH and I will absolutely be coming back when we visit campus. Highly recommend.“

“My wife and I tried Rolling Barbecue & Stone today, and everything was amazing. I ordered the two-meat plate with beef ribs, turkey, collard greens, and chicken dirty rice. My wife had the pork sausage, brisket, mac and cheese, and green beans. We also ordered the smoked jerk chicken and peach pound cake.

First off, the turkey was the best barbecue turkey I’ve ever had. It was moist, flavorful, and had the perfect texture. The beef ribs were cooked well, seasoned perfectly, and still allowed the real barbecue flavor to come through without being overwhelming. The collard greens were excellent, and the chicken dirty rice was a 10/10.

My wife said her brisket was well-seasoned with great texture, and we both really enjoyed the entire meal. The food took a little while to come out, but nothing unreasonable, and the customer service was great. Also, the peach pound cake was honestly one of the best homemade desserts I’ve ever had.

This meal made our Fourth of July perfect. Thank you all — we will definitely be back.“

“Good afternoon everyone! We attended Gen Korean BBQ House in Houston, Tx on Friday 7/5/2023. My family And I were in for a visit from Louisiana and decided to eat here for a couple of reasons; Reason 1: My daughter and I have a very severe allergy to Iodine/Seafood so we're very very limited to what we can eat but with Korean BBQ we can pick out meats and safely cook it on a grill that hasn't been exposed to any seafood products! Reason 2: We don't have very many, if any Korean BBQ spots in Lake Charles, La and we absolutely love this food. So we chose to go to Gen Korean BBQ but to our surprise our hostess/waitress was Extremely rude! not just once or twice but, throughout the whole dining experience! My fiance requested another waiter or waitress after speaking to the manager but nothing was done besides him saying he would speak to the rude waitress, that's unacceptable so we quietly left! I'm not sure if she was having a bad night or this is generally how she acts but where I'm from this is not acceptable and speaks volumes about her character!“

“My late wife and I have been to both locations of brisket House barbecue. They are located on Woodway in Houston and on Cypress Creek Parkway near FM 1960. I have not been to this location in years since my wife passed away. My brother and I decided to go out to eat Monday, August 11 at the Woodway location. They did not disappoint. The food was great and the young lady that assisted us was very sweet. I hope to return soon.“
