“First time to eat at a True Texas BBQ. This is a nice little place in the HEB grocery store. Had the El Jefe sandwich that comes with brisket and sausage link topped with Cole slaw. A really good sandwich considering I was sitting in a grocery store. Not an amazing BBQ experience with overtone taste profiles but a good sandwich when you want a BBQ sandwich with plenty of meat.
My daughter had their brisket queso nachos. Good entre but a little on the small side and the tortilla chips were typical grocery store fare. Still a good taste choice.“

“Before I get into the details, I must say that Spring Creek Barbeque is a very solid choice for a meal. Both the food and the atmosphere brought a homey aspect to this experience. I just can’t give the restaurant a full five stars; it’s great, but not perfect. Maybe this review will shed light on that. Upon walking in, we were greeted warmly; in fact, the service was exceptional throughout the meal. I felt like I had to initiate some of the transactions, such as when I asked for my sides (I was never asked, “What sides would you like with that”, which created an awkward pause before I just declared my two choices). However, this was very minor, and service was otherwise perfect. Toward the end of the meal, my family was offered hot rolls, which had clearly just been baked. These were complimentary and absolutely delicious. When leaving, someone held the door for us, which I appreciated. It seemed that the franchise owners/top managers had come to inspect the building and the operations while we were dining, so this may have enhanced the service, but either way we were treated with care. The food was good as well. I like that all of the meats and sides are visible when you order, as this helps somebody make informed decisions. You can also watch the employees make it for you, which is a nice touch. I ordered the brisket sandwich plate with the macaroni and cheese and the potato salad. The sides were simple but delectable, incredible add-ons to the meal. The brisket itself was pretty good, but the buns were a bit too chewy, not as soft as I would have preferred. It was a great meal overall, and I would definitely get it again. If you’re unsure of where to go and are out in Cypress, check out Spring Creek Barbeque. It won’t disappoint you.“

“For gluten-free peeps: Service was quick and food was good. I am gluten-free and I felt safe eating BBQ and coleslaw. It was my fault I should have asked if the coleslaw was gluten-free but I never in my life would expect ramen noodles in my coleslaw. So if you are gluten-free make sure to ask or let them know.“

“This restaurant's food is very acceptable. I had the grilled meat plate and it was freshly made and well-grilled. I did not feel the taste of Turkish food, sumac and Turkish spices taste were missing. I guess they want to please a certain crowd, the casserole, steak and potato eater. However, the meat was good, tender and well grilled. I had the plate of appetizer and they were all good. The only down side is the price. My bill was $62.00. I only had a tea with my lunch. Had I ha al kebab and a drink, my bill would have been at least $35.00 which is really expensive for lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. I was in Dubai recently and found the food to be as expensive as here, but everything they serve you is the highest quality and so good you could die the next day happy! Which is not the case here.“

Teri Beef, Teri Chicken, Kalbi (for Steve) and Chicken Katsu (for me) Couldnt pass up the Musubi The salad tasted like Zippy’s (and that’s a compliment). Highly recommend.“

“Excellent food and service. We had the seared Tuna Tatake appetizer. Delicious sauce with hints of wasabi. Duck Bao plenty of delicious duck breast! And a tasty Ramen with chicken and pork belly skewers. Outstanding flavorful broth and everything about it was good . Came on a Saturday Evening at 6:30 and was not busy at all (it’s a super hot day!). Convenient location. We’ve been to the one off of Louetta. Both are equally great!“

“Hands down some of the best bbq in the area. Bomb a** turkey legs too. My only two complaints would be ADD MORE CHEESE TO THE MAC! The noodles were SEASONED but very dry… The red beans and rice were so salty I felt my blood pressure go up! Baby my legs sure felt the sodium levels in my blood increase. I mixed a lil bit of the turkey meat to help. I will DEFINITELY be back but please, please get these minor issues fixed cuz without those issues this would easily be top 3 bbq spots. $48 for whats pictured.“

“This pace was SPOTLESS! Very clean. The only played Elvis Presley music, so that was odd but to each their own. The service was great. The worker explained the menu to me and what my options where. Very accommodating. I got the half slab (6) of ribs with both glazes and the Mac. The food came out before we could sit down! I counted ~8 bones so I wasn't mad about that. The are cooked beautifully, but the seasoning is 'meh'. My husband got the plate of ribs and sausage. He says the sausage is good. The Mac is really good, but liquid cheese Mac. There not good, there not bad, they're just ok.“

“When I first walked in I was greeted by the staff. Friendly group of folks behind the counter. The cashier was very nice. When I sat down and ate my meal the girl who was working the bakery 3 times passed me up while she attended everyone else in the restaurant and gave them their bread refills. I thought that was odd, no else ask for bread and she went to each table 3 times. My table was right in front of her station. I just let it go. I am not going to beg for something if it is complementary. That was the only odd thing about Spring Creek.“

I go to this location often to dine in and went to pick up some food and the staff was just as friendly as if I was dining in , if you want a true southern hospitality barbecue restaurant experience this is the place. My experience was so great I had to call the manager Keton and tell him that his staff was doing an excellent job. This location gets 5 stars from me.“
