“My brother recommended this place so I decided to stop by. I got the sausage and brisket plate which came with beans and potato salad. The sausage was juicy and full of flavor, and the brisket was so tender! My daughter is very picky but she could not stop eating it. I will be back.“

“Nicole handled our large family packet pickup order perfectly. My family had a long day and wanted some Texas BBQ as we were visiting but we had never been to Spring Creek before.
We wanted some pulled pork but Nicole let us know Spring Creek makes their pulled pork with Carolina BBQ sauce and offered us a taste so if that's what we wanted. We decide to go with the Brisket and Turkey instead.
The Brisket and Turkey were absolutely winners! The Brisket was some of the best I had and the Turkey blew my family away, it is always my favorite.

“These guys are the best! I had the pleasure of ordering some food to take to San Marcos, TX for the weekend of my son’s graduation. To say the food was delicious is an understatement. I fed the whole family for the weekend (Brisket, chicken, beans, potato salad. And they provide all the fixings, jalapeños, pickles, bread, BBQ sauce, plastic utensils, plates, all packed neatly in containers.), pleasing the most picky eater, my father! He even wants to order some the next time he’s in Houston, to take back to Louisiana! They definitely have a new customer in me!“

“I was out dashing really late at night, pregnant and with my 5 yr old son! I was having troubles transferring money over to pay and they told me next time and served me anyways! They are absolutely amazing and the food made my son and I want to dance! The chicken Shawarma, fries and side of peppers and veggies were delightful and everything was served beautifully! “This place is hands down one of the best halal spots I’ve been to. The food was fresh, flavorful, and you can tell everything is made with care. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, and the portions were really generous for the price.
The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They made the whole experience even better and made sure everything came out quickly and exactly how we ordered it.
If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality halal food, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family. One of my new favorite places!“

“I ran across Oscar the other day in George Bush Park, who told me to come by and try out his food truck. I told him I would and being a man of my word came by for lunch today. Let me tell you the BBQ here is off the chain!! Brisket, sausage, and ribs were amazing. One of the other things that sold me was a picture of their Crack Mac. It had chopped beef on it and the flavors were mind blowing. You can't beat a good homemade Mac and cheese! I also got an order of the homemade peach cobbler boy let me tell you I wish I had 4 stomachs because everything was soooooo good! If you're not eating here your taste buds are missing out. Go by and tell them Justin from Texas Blue Courage Company LLC sent you. Your taste buds and stomach will thank you! “I’ve been to DDK Kabab & Grill Hostok 5 times. 3 times to go and dine in twice. I recommended their Nihari both with and without the bone marrow. Hands down Houston’s top nihari !! 🙌 asides from the great nihari you need to try their falooda shots! It’s one of the best places to get Falooda. By restaurant standards, it is comparable to an actual falooda sweet shop!! Make sure you end your meal with cool refreshed falooda, especially during this hot crazy summer!!“

“The ribeye steak was quite salty and the fried okra portion wasn't big enough. Service was good and atmosphere was too. Loved our waiter, Kim so nice. The sides are amazing especially the fried okra. The Texas brisket queso was pretty good but the fried okra was better. I recommend the fried okra. Everything was great but the fried okra was the best out of everything.“

“Pay no mind to the negative reviews here. These tend to be entitled individuals. Owner was friendly, he cooked our food hot and fresh. I had the BBQ platter and the chicken was amazing and flavorful, the garbanzo sauce is so good. All of our food was good. If looking to try something new give this place a chance.“

“Ive been coming here many times since 2018. I think ive had maybe 2 bad experiences with take out, compared to at least 100 visits over the years. While they lack delivery, their take out process is pretty painless. You can get a decent 8oz sirloin steak and 2 sides for $20.“
