“We eat there often and mostly satisfied. Tonight I got my standard Big Horn brisket salad and the brisket was cut up in very tiny pieces. Hopefully not the new standard (?) because I couldn't taste the brisket and didn't like it at all.“
“I was in the area and randomly happened upon this place. The stop made my day! The people were super friendly and the sliced brisket sandwich was piled high with a ridiculous amount of meat. The sauce was good and the meat had an appropriate amount of smoked flavor. But the meat was some of the most tender brisket that I've ever had! Even the bun was very good.“
“I stumbled upon this hidden gem, I got ribs and brisket. Both were delicious, brisket was seasoned perfect, had a beautiful smoke ring and was very juicy and tender. “We were so excited when this location was announced- it has a beautiful covered outside seating area with big ceiling fans to keep the air moving in the heat and is decorated with big tvs to watch your fav games . They also have chalk / big jenga and other activities to keep the kiddos entertained. My family and I have become regular's here - they often host events( trunk or treat's ) and competitions ( ugly sweater ) . I was skeptical of the quality of food they would have to offer when their kitchen opened but lemme tell you .. their fries are the BEST cooked in bone marrow and full of flavor perfect with a nice cold beer from the tap . Their krispy boi Pilsner is one of my personal favs - nice and light for the heat we experience. I really hope the community supports this business as it's a great addition to the Friendswood / Pearland area .“
“Got 2 lbs of sliced beef brisket and a few ribs. I'd give the brisket an 8 out of 10 and the ribs a 6.5 out of 10. Everything was great but you're definitely not going to save any money by going to this food truck... It was pricy in my opinion. I'd visit again in a pinch for the brisket?“
“We had the baleada especial, the pupusa de queso, and some plantains. Mom has the traditional breakfast. It was all delicious! Mom was a huge fan of their flour tortillas. Service can be a little slow, so don’t go here if you are already getting hangry.Vegetarian options: If you ask for certain changes to the menu, they usually make them for you.“
“All the sides were great. Nice owners. Sausage was cut a little thin for my liking but flavor good, ribs a little boney and not much meat. I asked for lean brisket but this fell on deaf ears. Stuffed baked potatoes was awesome. I would return but express my preferences stronger. This place should succeed long term and moving a few blocks over to 521 would most likely ensure that.“
“Best bbq ever! Every time we come to Texas we make sure we stop at this location. Our go to meal is the 2 meat plate with moist brisket and sausage, creamed corn X2 as well as baked beans and a side of brussel sprouts. Lastly a side of burnt ends and big red to drink ?. It's usually enough for us to split. The line gets long so get there as soon as they open!*The brisket is sooo tender and juicy!“

“I called to check if Dave was serving food because he is a roadside, weekend vendor who barbecues in a parking lot. He was on his way to buy more meat to cook, so I put in a request for beef ribs and chicken. Later, Dave called me to give me a heads up when the food was going to be ready. When I arrived, Dave greeted me with a welcoming smile and let me know that the food was almost ready. He wanted to cook it a little longer to make sure the ribs were tender.I chatted with other people hanging out with Dave, and it was quite friendly, like I was at a friend's backyard cook out. Anyway, the price for all the food I got was very reasonable. When I got home, I was pleased to find that the chicken and ribs had a good, smoky flavor. I plan to be trying Dave's brisket next weekend.“
“Best bbq I’ve ever had. Couldn’t grab a slice of brisket to put on my bread without it falling apart. Took four tries! All of the sides are superb. Watching Miguel and his son’s hustle and hand out priceless customer service was the cherry on top. Jonathan was knowledgeable, kind, and polite. Customer service does still exist!!!! Plus fantastic bbq. Customer for life! 10 stars!!!“
