“My son and I were having a fun evening and wanted some great food to share while we had a movie night. We took a chance on this BBQ joint at the HEB and were beyond happy with the food, and even more with the service.
Alexa and Chris did a great job of putting together our orders, and serving us with a really big smile and promptness. This is now our go-to BBQ joint.
Thanks again to Alexa for handling our order perfectly.“

“Today my EMS partner and I were wanting something NOT fast food (which makes up the vast majority of what we get when on our rotations) when we happened across Seven Seeds Texas BBQ. The owner was friendly and personable which is always a plus. It's hot outside and people can get moody quick. I ordered the 3 meat plate. I chose Brisket, Ribs, and Turkey Breast. Brisket was tender, full flavored and the smoke tasted CLEAN! All he had left and could give me was from the 1/2 lbs of lean brisket he has. I look forward to trying the fatty-er point meant next time. The ribs were cooked to pull apart tenderness,(but not overcooked) moist, seasoned well and again, possessed that CLEAN smoke taste. Smoked turkey breast was perhaps my favorite protein from the Seven Seeds, moist, wet, pull apart, but still had a good bite. CLEAN smoke taste throughout the meat, and the seasoning was awesome! Bacon and Jalapeno Mac and Cheese was something special. You can definitely tell everything was homemade with care, and attention to detail you come to expect from a Texas Pitmaster. Brazoria County Medic 72 looks forward to our next visit!“

“Was back in Alvin for Frontier Days and couldn’t wait for lunch. I headed back to Adolph’s BBQ and again they did not disappoint. My go to for Que whenever I’m in Alvin!!“

“All the sides were great. Nice owners. Sausage was cut a little thin for my liking but flavor good, ribs a little boney and not much meat. I asked for lean brisket but this fell on deaf ears. Stuffed baked potatoes was awesome. I would return but express my preferences stronger. This place should succeed long term and moving a few blocks over to 521 would most likely ensure that.“

“Killen’s Pearland location is fantastic. However I want to focus my comments on the Woodlands location which is nearest to me. That location needs an intervention. Here’s my review of it: I really wanted to give this location a chance because the drive to the original location in Pearland is so far. Sadly, the last three visits have been disappointing. This time around we asked for their best offering and were told beef ribs. We got two of them. The first bite, with the outer bark was great, but below the surface it quickly became tough and dry. A beef rib cooked to Killin’s standard (& prices) should not be like that. Fortunately, there is another Killen’s in Cypress that seems to be more promising. Service and atmosphere were good, it’s just a quality issue. This location is not living up to the Killen’s reputation and my harsh rating is reflective of that.“

“I called to check if Dave was serving food because he is a roadside, weekend vendor who barbecues in a parking lot. He was on his way to buy more meat to cook, so I put in a request for beef ribs and chicken. Later, Dave called me to give me a heads up when the food was going to be ready. When I arrived, Dave greeted me with a welcoming smile and let me know that the food was almost ready. He wanted to cook it a little longer to make sure the ribs were tender.I chatted with other people hanging out with Dave, and it was quite friendly, like I was at a friend's backyard cook out. Anyway, the price for all the food I got was very reasonable. When I got home, I was pleased to find that the chicken and ribs had a good, smoky flavor. I plan to be trying Dave's brisket next weekend.“

“Been eating here since 1973 when chopped beef sandwich was 95 cents“
“First experience was with a group meetup, so just ordering beer at the bar.
Second experience, came to check out the food and other beer. We ordered the loaded fries and the SD #1 SD kemah suprema and the #3 SD wheat. The beer and food were great! We will be back based on that.
A few things to earn five stars.
1 - when we say it's our first time here, some type of introduction to the beer and establishment might be nice.
2 - there are some copper steins or mugs that you can purchase? Have no idea what those are, but other people bought them? Sales opportunities missed with us?
3 - brunch! OMG I had no idea about the brunch! We will be back for the brunch! More attention/advertising is needed for the brunch!“

“Today’s adventure and new spot try out. As you already know, we love trying new spots. Especially a nice hole in the wall places that are often over looked. But this one is worth a stop.
Thing to know:
This isn’t a Mexican restaurant spot, it’s a Honduran based restaurant. So the flavors and names of items will be similar, yet different.
On our visit it was very hot inside and not much cooler outside. Not sure if the A/C was broken or just our luck. So if you’re planning a visit, you may want to go in the evening as it will be cooler than mid day in our Texas heat.
If you can over look the heat, small parking lot, and the front. It’s a wonderful restaurant!
Service was great!! She consistently checked on us to make sure we were ok and didn’t need anything more.
The “Plata Catracha” (vid and pic uploaded) is the like end all be all to appetizers! LOL it literally comes with a little of everything. Nachos, 4x Taquitos, 3x Pupusas (gorditas), 2x meats - Beef Fajita and Pork (carnitas) that are char grilled and loaded with flavor. Along with a fried plantain to top it all off.
The sides included with the above, include like a sweet hot sauce, pickled grilled onions, a type of coleslaw, and pico de gallo.
This was a great item for a first time visit to try a little of everything and find what you like. With everything we tried, I don’t believe there’s a dish you won’t enjoy playing on what you know you already enjoy from your favorite Mexican restaurants.
Lastly for the price, it can’t be beat in the times we are currently in. Average plate is about $10 bucks here. The appetizer was $30 approximately.
Can’t wait to try more items.
Until next time.
Note: On the front menu has two items you can order, but forgot to get a picture. But one of those is the item described in my review, pictures, and video.
Parking: Very Small parking lot, may have to park on the side if the front few spots are taken.“

“Nice little hidden bbq place in Pearland. Half bar and restaurant with great vibes. The food is really good especially the brisket as it was super tender. They give a good amount of meat for the plates and a wide selection of sides to go with the BBQ plate. I got to check out their other meats next time I go. They have good prices and are not as expensive as other bbq places.“
