Wow. Even if it's out of your way this is a must stop location for some great food. BBQ brisket and the chicken are go-to if you're unsure. The dirty rice and loaded baked potato are must choose sides. And get the ? lemonade!Kid-friendliness: Nice covered outdoor seating that's great for kids with the family.Parking: Smaller parking lot but adequate.
Just ate lunch here with my coworker. It was the first time here for both of us. Very friendly staff/owner! The portions were very generous, and the pricing was reasonable compared to other BBQ joints. I got the chopped beef sandwich, onion rings and fried okra. Everything was delicious! I'll be back and recommend to friends?

All the sides were great. Nice owners. Sausage was cut a little thin for my liking but flavor good, ribs a little boney and not much meat. I asked for lean brisket but this fell on deaf ears. Stuffed baked potatoes was awesome. I would return but express my preferences stronger. This place should succeed long term and moving a few blocks over to 521 would most likely ensure that.
