“My family group, 'The Hustlin' Honeys" traveled to Houston from Louisiana, and Kamp was the first thing on our to do list. We had the best time. Our server was very hospitable. The food, drinks, and ambience were excellent! Everyone has agreed that we will Definitely make Kamp one of our go-to spots on our future trips. Kamp Houston is definitely a YES in our book.“
“I'm picky about BBQ. There is good BBQ and there is great BBQ. People wait in line hours to get great BBQ. As someone who loves cooking, most food is at it's best when it's done. A lot of BBQ places you go to, the food has been done for a long time and just kept warm... You're also paying for real estate, to store that BBQ so it's available when you want it. That's still good BBQ. We parked in the Pinkerton's lot, and waited in line behind a few other people for a few minutes. By the time they opened, there was a long line. We paid by the pound, and if we didn't like how much we were getting, we asked for a bit more. The woman in front of us wanted a beef rib, but didn't want to pay for the bone... She made them take it back... Held up the line for a bit, but they then had our food ready and we ate. I can't think of better BBQ. Bark was perfect, flavor on point... By far the best brisket I've ever had. Towards the end of the meal, the ribs changed from amazing to really good... Sitting for a bit does that... Love this place and although I hate the traffic in Houston, if I ever returned, it would be to this place.“
“My husband and I have driven by this restaurant a lot. I am so glad we took the chance to try it.I got a pulled pork sandwich, macaroni and cheese and a banana pudding. My husband got ribs and bbq rice. The food was incredible. Freshly made pickles were a bonus. We are on our way back today for some banana pudding. This placehas the best I have ever had.We usually dine out cheaply but we splurged here. Well definitely return when we can afford to dine out again.Parking: They opened a grassy area next to the parking lot for additional parking.“
“First time customer. Food is delicious! I ordered the Triple J Special (Brisket, Ribs, Sausage) w/ potato salad and green beans. I enjoyed every bite. The homemade koolaids are good as well but extremely sweet. One koolaid can be diluted w/ water and made into two. Now here’s why I didn’t give 5 stars across the board; the cashier set up. While there was a line, it’s expected as it was a Saturday. We waited about 1.5 hours. The inside of the building, where the line is formed is very narrow, “sharp shooter” style. The cooks/line staff are making the plates in a timely fashion, it’s the cashier or check out process that slows things down. There’s a MAJOR need for another check out system. Maybe a portable square terminal or some other portable card reader. I attached a picture for reference. This would help A LOT! especially since most customers are using cards, tap pay, etc. However this is just my opinion. I’m not promoting square pay nor am I affiliated with them in any kind of way. Will I come back? Yes. On a Saturday? No! It will have to be one day during the week where I can maximize my time and fully enjoy the experience.“
“I’ve been here twice so far and can’t wait to go back. When I first went I asked my friend who had been there before “is the food worth waiting in that line?” He quickly said “yes.” And now I totally agree with him! The line moved at a decent pace. The meats are all amazing except for the turkey which I found to be a little lacking in flavor. The sides are some of the best sides in Houston. I’d stand in line just for those brussel sprouts. It’s been a while since I’ve had a restaurant that I’m excited to share with friends and out of town guests. Cant wait to go back!“
“10/10 I highly recommend!!! Mr. Alfredo is a very honest and genuine man. He was up front and told us his food portions are big, never have I been to a place that was honest enough to tell us that. Other places want you to over order because they want the money, but not here, the food was beyond what we expected and them churros were amazing!!! We will definitely be back! Thank you Mr. Alfredo!“
“Literally the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Abel and team knock it out of the park everyday. Very glad I work so close to this spot!! A true “Must Have” if you’re a BBQ fan. There’s not a bad item on the whole menu. Amazing food and great people!“
“The staff is so friendly the moment you walk in the door. The atmosphere with the j-pop music in the background is different and cool. The menu is beautiful and clearly written. Now, the food…. Wow! It looks like the pictures in the menu and taste so much better than it looks. This is a fantastic restaurant and you will be very happy you went. If you are a Karen, please leave your fake medical device at home.“
“We absolutely loved this restaurant. They use charcoal grills and the sides are refillable. My favorite were the rice cakes. The fried dumplings were crunchy and delicious. We got the triple combo and it was a good amount of food for two people. We also tried the octopus stir fry and it was great. The price is fair for the amount of food you get. There are individual booths that provide a lot of privacy. The staff was friendly and inviting.“
“Teriyaki chicken and rice were great! 10/10. I'm not a fan of the macaroni style, didn'tfinish, 1/10. Hawaiian BBQ beef was 7/10, same rice mac. The homemade Thai tea was just as good as 85°C Bakery (which is the best), but it's two or three times as expensive. $5.50 per, like a chili's house margarita. Little pricey. The service was great. Solemn guy at counter was a champ, 10/10. Made me feel like I was really in Hawaii being assisted by a local who didn't enjoy tourists. Decor was cute cute, 10/10. Tiki hut table and food buckets for sale.Next time I walk in, I'd like a smiling tan Hawaiian girl in bikini, take my order. I'll know to sub the mac for anything edible. 2 orders of teriyaki. I'll use the food buckets for sale as drums, and I'll sneak in my own thai tea and save $11. Use that $ for a tip to the lady, leave my number, never get called. Then... 10/5. Epic restaurant.Summer is coming. Offer cute tank tops at cost + $5.50 with Hawaiian BBQ logo. Free thai tea drink if they post and tag on Instagram.“
“I went in for the first time this afternoon and ordered a chicken potato. Most BBQ places burn the potato and throw a bunch of toppings on to cover it up. This potato was soft and perfectly cooked. The chicken was diced and held the smoke. The toppings weren't overwhelming and complimented the potato and chicken. The staff was friendly and my associate and I had some good convo when they checked on us. Please support and check out Guillory's Bar B Que.“
“When I think of Persian, I think of Reza. Succulent and juicy lamb shank, cornucopia of tender grilled meats, pillowy flat breads, aromatic rice complemented by cranberries, and refreshing lemonade. Service is always amazing and a shout out to Kasra and team!“
“The vibe was good, as well as service. But the food is ordinary, we ordered Karnivore platter. Based on the quality and taste of the food, this place is overpriced. Cocktails taste good but a little bit expensive. Overall, it was okay.Parking: $7 valet parking“
“Luloo’s Day & Night is the latest culinary sensation from the talented trio behind Blood Bros BBQ, and let me tell you, it lives up to the hype. After hearing my friends rave about it, I couldn't resist checking it out for myself, and I'm so glad I did.One bite of their Cheeseburger made with 44 Farms beef, and I was hooked. The flavor was out of this world, and you could tell that every ingredient was of the highest quality. My friend opted for the Fried chicken sandwich, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. Juicy, flavorful, and downright delicious. But the goodness didn't stop there. We indulged in the highly recommended Cinnamon roll bread pudding and an oatmeal cream pie for dessert, and both were absolute showstoppers. It's clear that everything on their menu is crafted with care and attention to detail, with the bakery located upstairs ensuring that every bite is fresh and flavorful.Speaking of the menu, it's truly impressive. From a vast selection of sandwiches and wraps to salads and a solid kid's menu, there's something for everyone at Luloo’s Day & Night. And did I mention that everything is made in-house daily? It doesn't get much better than that.In conclusion, if you haven't already, do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, to Luloo’s Day & Night. You won't regret it.“
“Mr. MadMax catered my father’s homegoing. The food was amazing & I did not receive one complaint from anyone. Everyone was satisfied . He was on time for this occasion and very professional. 1 out of 10? No he gets a 100!! Thank you, Mr “
“Today I had a chance to try Lottie’s wing gurus, and I have to say they did not disappoint, the sweet chili wings & hot lemon pepper were excellent, the dirty rice had a great taste not to mention the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese is a must try, great wing spot I would highly recommend, for dinner or just a late night crave hands down, I will definitely be back.“
“OMG this was a super unexpected amazing experience! I was looking for bbq for lunch and I have found my new spot! Michael gave great service and the food was delicious! The lemon cupcake was so good, the sausage and chopped brisket sandwich was great, the potato salad was perfect! Everything! Can't wait to go back!“
“The food was great and the owner is a fantastic guy. I went to introduce myself to him and he gave me the freshlymade fried okra that he had in his hand. The people at this restaurant are top notch as the food. The fries are homemade and always fresh and amazing. The rib tips and the brisket were excellent.“
“In addition to the incredible bbq, the breakfast tacos are the best in town. The green and red chorizo are made in house and super flavorful. Add potatoes and cheese and you won’t want other breakfast tacos. The flour tortillas are clearly house made, paper thin (nearly transparent), do not fall apart when filled to capacity, perfect.Kid-friendliness: There are toys for kids.“
“Excellent BBQ, love the taste but need more on Friday. Thanks for serving veterans, we appreciate everything you do for us. Hope you keep serving us in the future.Parking: Make sure you get the parking ticket validation while getting the food. It's free for two hours.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get around in the food area but hard to get down to it.“
“I always come when Anali is working because she is an AMAZING server! The food is always so delicious and it really benefits having a server who is so attentive and on the ball, always! I typically go for the all you can eat option and it’s SO worth the price!!“
“This used to be our go to restaurant for birthdays and other occasions, however, we stopped going as much after the service and food seemed to be declining. My son wanted to go for his birthday and we were so happy we did. We had a wonderful lunch for my son's birthday, service was excellent as was the food.“
“It was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and it was awesome! It’s $30.95 per person for dinner and it all you can eat. Tables can’t be occupied for longer than 2 hours. There’s a ton of different options to choose from and while we had our favorites, everything we had was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.“
“Victor was very attentive. Not only was it my first visit but I was alone and he made both experiences enjoyable. There was another male waiter who was extremely helpful as well but I didn’t catch his name. 4 stars because I personally would have liked more veggie options but their buffet is loaded and everything was tasty!“
“The fat cap on the brisket was a little bit more than I prefer but the brisket itself was incredibly tender and flavorful. But the real shining star has always been the sausage. Whether it is the jalapeno cheddar or the hatch chili pepper jack cheese sausage, the sausages are beyond phenomenal. I seek this restaurant out every time I come to Houston“
“On the recommendation from the masbate at a place I was working at today.. I came here. And was happy to have the recommendation pan out! Moist brisket with mashed potatoes cajun/dirty rice. Delicious. Good price. I've paid more for got less and not nearly as tasty. Highly recommend.“
“Small store, always crowded, it is good for both dine in and takeaway. Roasted pork belly is just right, not too dry, not too salty. I dont try roasted duck here but heard many good things about them. The large box comes with fried rice / white rice and 2 meats, its is good portion for one, maybe you can split into 2 portions for lunch and dinner. If you dine in, they have puerh tea to help you digest with all fatty from duck and pork. Free. Parking is always filled up on the ground, be ready to park upstairs at no cost.“
“Oh man I had a great time! I'm not a going out kind of person, so we took a chance and tried it out on karaoke night! Lol it was so much fun and the food was delicious! We had a few appetizers and wow were they tasty! The executive chef Gilbert was very friendly, came out to our table to see how we liked the food! The singers were fun great crowd! I was happy we came! Y'all should definitely come out and don't forget to eat while you're here and Lyft yourself home!“
“It was my first time visiting this restaurant. I enjoyed the food. Even the next day, the food was just as delicious. I recommend the chicken fried steak. That’s why hubby ordered. I ordered the 3 meat plate, sausage, brisket , and chicken baked potato and a salad. The meat portion is enough. It’s not too much or too little. The brisket was tender, the chicken moist. We also tried their onion rings. Very delicious!“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Hongdae 33 Korean BBQ, an all-you-can-eat gem in the heart of Houston. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the get-go, the array of flavors and dishes on offer was impressive, providing an authentic taste of Korean cuisine. The quality of the meats was top-notch, with a wide variety to choose from, ensuring every bite was as delicious as the last. What stood out was the staff's dedication to service, ensuring our plates were never empty and our questions never unanswered. Hongdae 33 has mastered the balance between quantity and quality, making it a must-visit for any Korean BBQ aficionado or anyone looking to delve into the rich flavors of Korea. Highly recommended!“
“Definitely will be our new BBQ spot. Baked potato is HUGE! Soooo much meat was put in they did not skimp by any means. The price is super fair for what youre getting especially with how much the cost of meats and everything else has gone up. Support local and small business guys these gentleman 100% deserve it.“
“He is Grand and hospitable. He makes sure you are happy. He engaged with his customers. The prices are Grand, now tell me where you can get a $10 whoppin' sandwich with much meat for the ?. The ribs are tender and the sausages homemade/store is amazing. Go grab you one tell him Gatekeeper send you. Pictures come soon. Blessings“
“It's my 3rd time here. This time i went to celebrate my husband's birthday. I love that they use charcoal for you to cook the food. The many sides provided alone is already alot. One of the best Korean BBQ places in Houston and the price is not that bad either.“
“I never make google reviews, but the VN Combo bánh mì I just ate was absolutely delicious. Everything from the soft-inside crispy-outside baguette to the combination of meat and vegetables and heat were in perfect balance. Will be back again (and again and again)!“
“It's a round gas-powered pit. Uses a Square mesh screen over a fire. Each person gets their own set of tongs, which is a huge plus. The variety given for the price is great. Ordered from the "premium" menu and ate the whole great experience. The server was a tall young man, very polite. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible. Seating us took less than a minute from walking in and sitting down.Vegetarian options: Had the broccoli and was given exactly the amount I wanted; a lot. Also, they had many other dishes that were vegetables that should be grilled over the barbie.Parking: Parked right in front kf the establishment. Had no trouble finding parking and when we left there were other spots open. Easy to navigate.“
“Great place to watch sporting events or to just hang out. The food is next level, an excellent place to go visit again and again!!!!Vegetarian options: Just ask, and they will accommodate you.Dietary restrictions: Just let them know what you prefer or what your restrictions are, and they will make sure your order is prepared accordingly.Parking: On-site parking, free, and paid parking. Huge parking lot directly across the street from Cobos, and other parking spaces are available nearby as well.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.“
“This place is incredible. Everything is so good. The heat of the food is incredible. They have a certain heat level that you have to sign a waiver. I had the sleezy chicken and it was delicious. The dragon fries were crispy and spicy. I had no problem parking but I can forsee issues if it gets real busy. Really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back!“
“Chimac is a gem if you live in the area and I had to drive 40+ mins to get to taste the Korean fusion meals! Had the cheesesteak sandwich with gochujang wings. I was expecting some Korean twist to the cheesesteak, but it tasted regular. However, the chicken wings were superb, sweet, and spicy taste which is probably between mild-hot scale.Loved the beverage selections, they had grape juice, fruit punch, and the regular sodas of your choice. The seating is very limited, however their is a revolving door of customers in and out when we came. Overall, I was happy with the meals and would recommend this for a fast food style Korean fusion eatery for a good price.“
“We ate here earlier today for the 1st time, I love the theme of the place, very unique. We ordered 3 separate a la carte meat for 3 of us, and we were so full, the meat was very flavorful, the complimentary tofu soup was amazingly good. The best thing was the service was TOP NOTCH. Everyone was so attentive and friendly, they grilled the meat for us, cut it to little strips, always asking if we need refill of the side dishes. Very impressed. Will come back, but we live in Katy, so probably will visit the Katy location next time. A++++.“
“The food here is freaking amazing. Unfortunately, the bbq stops at 4 pm on sunday, but if you can make it, the sunday special is the smoked barbacoa, and it's the best I have ever had! Hands down! The customer service here is absolutely wonderful. I have an odd guy, and they treat me like I'm not. It's great! This place feels high-end and is absolutely beautiful. I love itParking: It's a modern lot with as little concrete as there could be in a lot. There is security, and it is clean.“
“Some of the best bbq I've had in Houston. The owner was SUPER nice and friendly too. By 3:30, he was sold out of everything except for 1 link of sausage and a small amount of brisket. That potato salad was GOOD, and I'm very particular about it. Check this place out.“
“Central Texas BBQ is the kind of dining establishment you can only find in Texas. Smiling staff are helpful and friendly. Meats are deliciously slow smoked, and portions are generous. Great stop across from Hobby Airport, especially now that Pappas BBQ is no longer at Hobby.“
“Drive in from Los Angeles and heard this place was the only place I needed to go for BBQ. Tori at the counter helped us pick out the perfect combination of meats for two hungry men and it hit the spot! So glad we came and we will definitely be coming back.Parking: We came with a trailer and had no problem pulling up with trailer in view“
“Excellent restaurant, our first time there. Very friendly staff, helped me find vegetarian options and was attentive to even pointing out the vegetarian side dishes. My husband had the barbecue at the table and loved it. Will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Not super easy to tell on the vegetarian options from the menu but staff was very very helpful with pointing out options“
“I have always enjoyed going to this restaurant, and they were so nice last weekend. I stopped in and I'm a new vegetarian and really wanted some black bean noodles / jajjangmyeon, and that was happy to find there are several hot and cold vegetarian options, including cucumber kimchi! The food was very delicious and the staff was very helpful ~“
“Great flavor but the quantity is a bit small and the price is too high. Normally this plate runs at $12 with more slices on it. Very good flavor, very original but the quantity is very little for the price. Normally a dish like this costs $12 and contains more slices.“
“As a thank you to our employees for working so hard during the holidays, we set up a BBQ lunch - at two different locations. Daniel at HCGSBC is THE BEST. He hooked us up better than I could have asked for. EVERYONE was raving about the food - but especially the brisket. We will definitely be return customers. Daniel, thank you for making these two lunches absolutely fantastic.“
“I've been wanting to visit here for years. I finally did for my birthday and everything was amazing.Charga chicken was the top hit. So flavorful and juicy. Perfection. Then the butter chicken was very flavorful and not spicy. The naan bread is some of the best in Texas and it was paired well.Channa was very good. The chicken chapli was awesome, one big cutlet kind of patty buffet than any chapli I've ever seen. Packed with seasoning and flavor. So unique and authentic.Lassi was delicious and so was the kheer.“
“First, I've never been offered a sample of the BBQ upon entry, ever, before coming here. I don't know if the person serving us was the owner, but definitely had an owner mentality. The brisket is really good, and the sausage is pretty good as well. There was a problem with the fountain drinks, but they had cans out and readily available for what wasn't working. The dining room was just so so.“
“Food was great service was fast and the outdoor seating was perfect. Met some good people at the inside bar after dinner and had a few drinks. The bartender was friendly and people around us were quick to engage in conversation. We had a good time.“
