“What can I say besides that I feel Bob Bob has some of the best food in Houston. I don’t even want to put it in a box and call it. The best soul food or Cajun creole food. It’s just good food home-cooked from scratch. I Always feel appreciated And welcomed when I go to this place. I’ve quite tried quite a few things on the menu but this time it was good enough for me to make a review on Google. I tried the pick chicken half-and-half with an overload. My God was the food good but it was a lot I literally have enough for lunch and dinner. Money well spent definitely will be a returning customer. Keep up the good job Bobob’s.“

“Upon entering the restaurant for the first time, we were greeted by the friendliest staff who promptly seated us at the bar tops; despite not having a reservation on a busy night. Our bartender/server took our happy hourvorder: LA oysters and Greater Heights lager. Both of these items were phenomenal. We ended the night with the EZ peel Gulf shrimp served with house-made remoulade and the hamachi crudo. The crudo had the perfect balance of flavors; from the freshness of the cilantro and cucumber to the heat of the serrano. Of course, the avocado helps bring these two worlds together in the quintessential bite. What a great time was had UNTIL I couldn't help but notice that the valet staff was working in a concrete jungle in the Texas scorching summer without any shade! “I was on another visit to Houston and was looking for a good food spot I could visit to sit and eat since I had time before catching a flight. So I stumbled across this place. Saw they had mostly good reviews and the pictures on instagram did them justice. I ordered the blackened catfish with 6 additional shrimp with red beans and rice and collard greens, although I debated back and forth between the Mac n cheese and red beans and rice. Okay so I’m going to go through my run down, why I gave 4 stars.
Food:

Catfish and shrimp: seasoned really well, was really, really good, just wish had a little less sauce on it though.

Red beans and rice: pretty solid

Collard greens: solid

Cornbread: not as moist as I would like but was pretty standard in taste and make.

The lady who took my order was very pleasant.

The place overall is relatively clean, just was a bit annoyed as a fly kept flying around as it probably came in with the traffic of the door opening and closing. It is a small and intimate spot and like the booth table set up.“

“Worth the wait! We arrived about 15 minutes before opening and joined the line. The line was almost an hour to get inside, but once we did, we were greeted by friendly staff and a handwritten daily menu. The staff offered samples and cuts of fresh brisket as we moved through to order. We tried a little bit of everything, and it was outstanding. My wife loved the sides (served family-style for sharing), and I loved the ribs and brisket. This is a must-do if you love barbecue and are in Houston!“

“I started going to Amazing Smiles Houston Texas at the Fondern location two weeks ago. I am the one who is afraid of Dentist just like some of you. When they’re in the process of cleaning your teeth they would apply a gel on your gums which will numb your gums. Even when their going to pull or replace something they use the gel before the injection and I felt nothing. The staff there make you feel so relax and when leaving there they will make you feel so welcome that you would want to come back. Usually will spend around 10-11 dollars. That's with a drink and a roll or bread. Can be pretty busy during lunch hours but the service is very quick.“

“We've eaten here twice and loved our meals on both visits. The seafood was fresh and cooked just right and the French fries were some of the best we've ever had. The hush puppies are good, too. So far we've had popcorn shrimp, fried jumbo shrimp, grilled shrimp, catfish, and Andouille sausage over red beans and rice and each was excellent. The serving sizes were generous and the prices very reasonable. They offer a glass of beer or margarita with each meal. Service was friendly.“
