“Ordered through door dash, everything was amazing. Had the 3 meat and 2 meat plates. We ordered the pork ribs, very tender and delicious. Jalapeño cheese sausage, good spice. Brisket, tastes amazing. For sides we got mustard potato salad, VERY good and I’m picky with my potato salad. Mac and cheese, reminds me of the Velveeta cheese shells, good creamy cheese sauce. And the charro beans, good smoky flavor with a nice spicy kick at the end. Love this place! And their bbq sauce is really good with a little spice to it, not real spicy.“

“Decided to give this place a shot after watching a TikTok review on it. We've grown tired of the noise at Pappadeaux's and for the price the wife and I thought it's time to start looking around for something else. My wife and I aren't big eaters, so we usually like to sit at the bar and just chill. Anyway, being that this was our first time here we decided to go for Happy hour and just check the place out. The redfish dip and roasted oysters were on point, but the recommended dish of snapper collars was not worth it at $35. The dish was straight up "collars" with no side dish. If we lived close by we'd definitely be back but who knows. We did like that the place was chill and not loud. Our bill, although not outrageous, was a bit pricey for being Happy Hour ($115 before tip.) There weren't that many food options offered as part of Happy Hour that we were interested in so our food choices were reflected in the bill. I don't know if our experience should really be considered Happy Hour price specific. Give it a try though.“

“The food was delicious! I woke up thinking about it! We drove in from Dallas to attend a private function. Each and every dish was amazing! The biscuits were to die for. The gumbo was flavorful. The fish and shrimps were hot and tasty! Omg, the shrimp and grits were tantalizing! Everything was perfectly made. The customer service was personable and friendly! When it came to service, Tyreek provided some amazing cocktails and provided great insight on the menu. I started with 5 oysters from the gulf. Each was marvelous and the presentation was beautiful.
I also had the fried chicken. It was juicy and delightfully crispy. The sauces were tasty, but not needed for me as the chicken was flavorsome alone. The pickles, biscuits, and jam were a perfect accompaniment.
I enjoyed the 'Aye, Caliente' and the 'You're Welcome' to drink. Both delectable.
I will definitely be back on my next trip to Houston.

“Had lunch with my family at Edgar’s Hermano. The waiter, Azadene, was very attentive and patient with us. The restaurant is very clean and quiet - easy to have conversations over appetizers.
We sampled many of the appetizers, all freshly made (guacamole, salsas, queso, taquitos, empanadas) - loved them all!
Main courses came out - various salads, burgers and tacos were enjoyed. Not a single complaint at the table, and there were 9 of us.
We topped it off with dessert. I can’t stop thinking about the fried cinnamon apple pie!
I highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves downtown and is near The Whitehall Hotel!

“This is a pretty cool new brunch place. Me and my parents got there pretty early around 9:30 or 10 on Saturday and we were able to get seated immediately. However, on the way out around 11 AM to noon it looks like there was a long wait, however, the food and service was great. We will be back.“

It comes with eggs your way and your choice of home fries / grits and biscuit / bread. It came out to ~$18 and was good value with hearty portions.The pork chop was well-seasoned and juicy. The eggs were buttery, fluffy goodness. Service was warm - you order at the counter but they take out the order to your table.“
