Treebeards is fantastic - I have been going for years, and the food is consistently very good (both quality and taste). The salads, main courses, sides and desserts are all great - a few of my favorites are the salads (with vinaigrette), the étouffée, the baked and the fried chicken, the chicken and sausage gumbo, the squash casserole, and the brownies!
I went to Treebeards on Katy Freeway @ Bunker Hill after volunteering at an Astros Foundation event at Silver Street Studios.
The jambalaya and red beans and rice were Delicious. I would have the lunch chicken fried steak & dirty rice again. My favorites were definitely the Yellow Cake with Chocolate icing, and the Butter Cake!!!!
Since I saw on fb 3 weeks ago someone recommending the baked chicken with the vinaigrette, it has been my favorite! I ordered it today and it is just so delicious!😋 Also, there was a lady packing my food who was extremely nice! I couldn’t get her name but she had a ponytail, jeans, and green shirt. It was today Friday around 4:15 pm. She answered my questions about the vinaigrette and let me know I could buy it in a pint size. I didn’t know this! Also, I liked the employees...read full review
