Treebeards is fantastic - I have been going for years, and the food is consistently very good (both quality and taste). The salads, main courses, sides and desserts are all great - a few of my favorites are the salads (with vinaigrette), the étouffée, the baked and the fried chicken, the chicken and sausage gumbo, the squash casserole, and the brownies!
I went to Treebeards on Katy Freeway @ Bunker Hill after volunteering at an Astros Foundation event at Silver Street Studios.
The jambalaya and red beans and rice were Delicious. I would have the lunch chicken fried steak & dirty rice again. My favorites were definitely the Yellow Cake with Chocolate icing, and the Butter Cake!!!!
This place never fails us. The place is always clean and comfortable. Food was delicious, I had the shrimp etouffee and wife had grilled chicken, with the squash casserole and green beans w/mushrooms. Yum yum. Full now!
